Great group to work with. He was responsive, timely, and efficient. His prices were fair. He did exactly what we wanted and made good suggestions for options. We modified some light fixtures and moved a switch among other things. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

Excellent experience with the owner of this small business located in West Roxbury. This was our first time buying a very heavy chandelier and we are very happy with the work done today. Jim was on-time *early actually* text 30 minutes ahead to allow me time to get home, made changes on the fly with install concerns which came up, and finally hung this chandelier perfectly. They also cleaned up after. I will use Robinson Electric again.

I hired Jim Robinson to replace our electrical service. He charged me for a permit but never got the work inspected. I now cannot get the rest of my kitchen project inspected because of this open permit. I called multiple times to get this resolved but have never recieved a return call from them.
Now i have to cancel the open permit, hire another contractor to pull a new permit and pay again. Stay clear of these guys

They clearly do not care about their customers. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate, it was about a two week wait. He ended up cancelling on me at the last minute. I understand things happen, so I didn't really hold that against him. His next available date was a week and a half later. I thought that was a bit annoying. If you're gonna cancel on someone, you should make them a priority. I live less than 10 minutes from the business, he could have swung by for an estimate any time. Anyway, I rescheduled for the next week. He never showed up. Never contacted me with an apology or explanation. The guy is a jerk and doesn't deserve anyone's business.
