Every aspect of dealing with Macauley Brothers is FIRST RATE. From the insights and suggestions during the initial meetings, to the fantastic completion of the landscape and hardscape projects, as well as every step in between, their primary goal is the client’s satisfaction.

He is meticulous about shopping for the landscape plants or hardscape products that will provide the best matches for the clients’ needs and goals. In our recent project, he traveled to several nurseries on his own time to locate the types of shrubs we wanted that were in the best conditions for fall plantings, rejecting several that were worn out from the long summer weather. Bernie is familiar with the climate zones and soil types that will assure the shrubs’ survivals Other landscapers would not have spent so much time on that preliminary work and due diligence.

Once the selections are made, the installations of the landscape and hardscape products are done with care and attention under Bernie’s initial guidance, including the best fertilizers and other prep work. His crews show up on time, are courteous, and reflect the attitude instilled from Bernie, from the project manager to every worker. The whole team at Macauley Brothers are all professional, responsive, hard working and meticulous, so they clearly care that the clients are pleased with the outcome. If there are aspects that rarely the clients question, Bernie and his crew return to address them. Their attitude helps to virtually eliminate the stress of doing these types of projects because the clients have confidence in their work.

My husband and I recently had Macauley Brothers do some landscaping and tree planting, and we couldn't be happier. We contacted Macauley Brothers to get a free estimate and Bernie Macauley came by. He listened to what we had in mind, made some suggestions, and after some discussion was happy to give us the estimate on the spot. Bernie's team came out and started working right away. They were friendly and efficient, knew what we wanted done but made sure they checked with us before starting work. When they were done they cleaned up the entire area and, before they left, made sure we were completely happy with the job they'd done. And we were.

Parked their trailer and their truck at the end of my driveway and proceeded to unload all of their equipment and made no effort to move when I let them know I needed to leave

Called to inquire about having a tree removed and a knew one planted in its place .I was told that someone would call me back shortly,that never happened I called back several times only to keep getting voice mail never was able to talk to them .I was going on there 5 star reviewes I was wrong .called Mentos they were more eager to help great price and there going to do the job

The guys were very nice, polite and professional. Asked if I had any concerns about my lawn. Answered all my questions. They did a great job!

I used to call my back yard a jungle, and reached out to Skinner Overlook to see if they could make it a useable outdoor space. We had quite the job, the prior owners had filled in an in ground pool and the yard was just a mess. When I reached out to Skinner, I asked if what we were hoping could be done in about a 3 week time frame because my fiancé and I decided after a covid wedding postponement to have a small backyard wedding. They went above and beyond and Rachel even gave us some suggestions for how to use our new space for our backyard wedding. Skinner Overlook was so helpful, Frank knew all about if we’d need permits for any of the work and converted out jungle into an amazing outdoor space. The masonry is beautiful! We are so happy that we worked with Skinner Overlook for this project, they were efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and so easy to work with. They went above and beyond and even finished our yard early! We can’t speak highly enough of the yard and we have had many people remark on how beautiful the yard is itself, all thanks to Skinner Overlook!
