Reviews of local pros in Winthrop, Massachusetts

Erik and his team were very professional.
We contacted him to build a wall, Install a barn door, and paint couple rooms.

Erik was responsive and honest with his estime by providing realistic construction time and constructions cost.

During construction we asked him to do extra house repairs and even to move a very heavy piece of furniture from the first floor to the second floor.

Even thought he was pretty much booked for couple weeks, he found a way to fit in the extra house repairs and furniture moving work without complaining or hesitating.

We were very happy with his work, and will definitely reach out to Erik for future house projects.

Erick came out right away and John did a great job for my ceiling repair in 2 days. Would recommend for sure.

I had a great experience with Best pro Builders They did a really good job with the plastering in my place. The workers were nice and got the job done on time.

Erick and his team did a great job on a mudding/sanding/drywall repair project at our house. They were on-time, considerate, and professional both with the work itself and cleaning up after it. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Best Pro Builders! They were professional, efficient, and did great work! We appreciated that they addressed our issue so quickly too. We would definitely hire them again.

I recently had the pleasure of doing business with Best Pro Builders, they actually completed my job today! I had issues relating to my ‘vintage’ bathroom plaster walls with skim coating pulling away from plaster, etc. I was immediately impressed with Erick’s honest appraisal and his knowledge of what was causing my issues. He was straightforward, his quote was reasonable and his time frame to get my job done was spot on! His crew was just as professional plus personable, neat and they did a great job! They worked straight through (six hours) and refused my offer to buy them coffee LOL! Talk about focused!I’m impressed and would recommend their services without hesitation. Thanks Best Pro Builders and Erick!

This pro did an outstanding job! Work was completed promptly and processionally. It was even completed sooner than estimated. My only regret is that I wish that I had more work for them to do!

Erick and his team did work that was above and beyond what I was expecting when I got the quote, and I would definitely work with them in the future. I originally started my kitchen remodel through Home Depot, but I brought in Erick to replaster and paint the walls because Home Depot wouldn’t. Once they started, they came back almost every day until it was done and now the walls look fantastic! Erick was significantly more pleasant to work with than Home Depot, and much more responsive. He even offered to help get the building inspection scheduled (which was not his responsibility) because Home Depot was dragging their feet. I wish I had hired Erick for the entire job!

In August, 2024, Best Pro Builders painted two rooms in home. Erick and his crew were very professional, easy to work with and stuck to their schedule. They meticulously covered my new flooring to protect it. In doing this, his crew discovered a leaking pipe, caused by my flooring contractor. Erick and crew saved us from a major disaster! Best Pro Builders did a fabulous job, painting in hard-to-get-to areas in one of the rooms. He was honest about what they could and couldn’t do. However, we were pleased with the outcome! We so appreciate the work they did and I plan to use Best Pro Builders in the near future!

I found Best Pro Builders through Angi. They responded right away, came to our house to provide a quote within 20 minutes, scheduled the job for a few days later, and provided timely communication during the whole process. The work product was great and the price was fair. I was very impressed and could not have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend!

Awesome service on 2 projects - inside ceiling repair and outdoor paving project. So easy to work with. Explained options clearly. Efficient scheduling. Polite crews who did. Great work and left the area clean and orderly. Thanks! We’ll be call with more projects shortly.

I couldn’t be happier with the work done by Best Pro Builders! From start to finish, their team was professional, punctual, and incredibly skilled. They helped us with both painting and a full house remodel, and the results exceeded our expectations in every way.

The attention to detail was flawless—the painting was crisp and clean, and the remodeling work transformed our space into something straight out of a magazine. They took the time to understand our vision, offered helpful suggestions, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process.

What really stood out was their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. They showed up on time every day, kept the worksite clean, and made sure everything was perfect before wrapping up. It’s rare to find a company that’s this reliable and passionate about their craft.

If you’re looking for a trustworthy, top-tier painting and remodeling company, look no further. I highly recommend Best Pro Builders, and will absolutely use them again for future projects!

Outstanding Craftsmanship and Professionalism!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Eric, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, his team was professional, communicative, and highly skilled. They took the time to understand our vision and executed it with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The project was completed on time and within budget, with no surprises along the way. The quality of their work speaks for itself, and we’ve received numerous compliments on the finished result. Their dedication to customer satisfaction and willingness to go the extra mile truly set them apart.

If you’re looking for a reliable, talented builder who takes pride in their work, we highly recommend Best Pro Builders. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again in the future!

I recently hired Best Pro Builders for plastering and painting work in my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The plastering was done with great precision, leaving the walls completely smooth and ready for painting. The paint job was equally impressive.

Wow! We can’t thank Erick Silva and his team at Best Pro Builders enough for the incredible job they did!
After our lower level flooded, we needed a company that could handle everything— From reconstruction and plastering to painting and flooring installation. We chose Best Pro Builders based on their outstanding reviews, and they absolutely lived up to the praise.
Their professionalism, clear communication, high-quality work and commitment to getting the job done right were exceptional. Erick’s team treated our home with respect and made sure to clean up thoroughly after each workday.
As a bonus, we were also able to take advantage of a post construction cleaning service provided by Karol Silva, which left our space, spotless and move in ready! Highly recommended!!

Erick and his crew did a great job helping us with our pretty complex renovation! The scope of work for Erick included installing brand new herringbone engineered wood floors in our open concept kitchen and hall, smoothing out textured ceilings and walls with plaster (including 12’ tall ceilings in our grand room), installing new trims, and painting all surfaces. While we had some hiccups during the process(which is always expected during such complex projects), Erick was extremely sensitive to my requests and worked with myself and his team to make all necessary adjustments during each step of the way to my liking. I really appreciate Erick’s and his guys’ professionalism and attitude to deliver high quality results per customer’s expectation. We are very happy with final result and I highly recommend Best Pro Builders to anyone looking for a quality work at very reasonable price.

Melendez wired my new house and did a fine job except that my contract/work order stated dimmer switches which they didn't put in. The owner said they would come remedy that via an email on March 29. It is now April 26 and the owner has stopped replying to my emails. Definitely frustrated that the job wasn't completed as agreed.

Michael & his team are very professional. I own 8 condos & they serviced each of them on a timely manner while I was on a tight deadline. I have used a bunch of other companies in the past but the relationship Black Diamond builds is unique - No matter the time Michael has fixed any issues we ran into during the winter. Thank you very much 🇺🇸

Professional, courteous and efficient. Arrival was prompt, pricing was clear and fair. Will use again.

Stand up guys who did a thorough job on short notice at a fair, transparent rate. Will use again.

Great service by Michael - he was recommended to me by a neighbor and I would recommend to others! Service was fast and efficient - relatively easy to coordinate a date and time.
