Deck Builder reviews in Woburn, Massachusetts

Hemlock contracting was amazing! Surpassed all my expectations. Me and my husband had been talking about getting our deck redone for years and we finally did it and couldn’t be happier. The team was amazing throughout everything and we are in love with it! Just in time for summer weather

I got my deck built by Hemlock and it turned out great. The crew was nice to work with and finished it without delay. The materials appear to be high quality. It’s been nice for hanging out. I’d recommend them to others looking for a good deck.

I hired Hemlock Contracting to build a custom deck in my backyard,m. I cannot speak highly enough about the experience from start to finish. They used pressure-treated wood with a sleek railing design that perfectly matches my outdoor aesthetic, even adding built-in benches for extra seating. The crew worked efficiently, finishing ahead of schedule, and left the yard spotless despite the muddy conditions. Teddy is as professional as one can be. He was patient, guiding me through material choices and ensuring the deck was level and sturdy. I’m already planning a summer barbecue on it—highly recommend!

Hemlock Contracting did a solid job on our new backyard deck. The crew was friendly, showed up when they said they would, and built a nice oak deck with a cool wraparound staircase we asked for to make it pop. They kept us in the loop, though I wish they’d cleaned up the sawdust a bit better each day. The deck’s super durable and perfect for our BBQs, and the price felt right. Would use them again for sure!

Hemlock Contracting built us an awesome cedar deck with a built-in bench and sleek railing. The team was professional, punctual, and kept the site clean. They suggested a step-down for easy yard access, which we love. The deck’s sturdy, looks great, and was done on time for a fair price. Thanks again!

Hemlock contracting is awesome to work with. Very professional and efficient. On site, they made helpful and tailored recommendations to add an even more refined touch that really contributed to our new deck’s aesthetic. Overall great experience!

Teddy and the crew at Hemlock Contracting did a great job on our new deck. It’s a beautiful cedar design with built-in seating and clean lines, just what we were hoping for. Amazing work and team! It was a pleasure working with the Hemlock team on creating our deck - everyone was thoughtful, organized, and punctual in completing our project. I highly recommend Hemlock Contracting!

Called these folks in a panic right after that nasty snow storm. It left us with ice dams and water dripping into the upstairs hallway. The guy who answered (think his name was Ben?) listened, didn’t try to upsell me on a full tear-off, and had a crew out the next morning to fix the ice dam issue and patch the damaged spots. Roof looks solid now, no more leaks. Super straightforward, fair pricing for emergency roof repair work in Winchester area. Would use them again in a heartbeat and tell my neighbors the same!

I gotta give a huge shoutout to the guys at Hemlock. My roof was leaking like crazy, and they came out same day to take care of its They were super transparent about pricing and the roof repair they did was top-notch. Seriously, if you're in need of roofing services, give these guys a call!

We hired Hemlock Contracting to replace our front porch and overall it was a great experience. They were incredibly responsive throughout the whole process and delivered great results! I would definitely recommend them to others.

Just had Hemlock Contracting replace our entire roof after some nasty damage from the snow. They showed up when they said they would, no endless delays. The crew was super careful—protected all the landscaping and even fixed a couple of rotten deck boards they found under the old shingles without charging extra. We went with architectural shingles. It looks awesome now. Cleaned up all the scraps at the end of the day. If you’re looking for a roof replacement from a solid company that actually cares about the details, these guys are the real deal. Highly recommend!

We couldn’t be happier with the deck this company built for us. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and impressively efficient. The craftsmanship is top-notch — the composite materials look fantastic and are clearly built to last. The attention to detail in the railings, stairs, and overall layout is excellent.

They communicated clearly throughout the project, kept to the timeline, and left the site spotless once the job was done. The end result is a beautiful, spacious deck that has completely transformed our backyard and will be the center of many gatherings to come.

Highly recommend this team if you’re looking for quality work, great service, and a finished product you’ll be proud of.
