I used Energy Monster to install 3 ductless mini-splits in my house. The installation was done quickly and efficiently, the installation team was knowledgable and friendly, and they worked hard to ensure I got the rebate for the installation. They also did a free energy audit that was very helpful. I would recommend Energy Monster to anyone looking to make their house more energy efficient.

The energy audit I had scheduled proceeded without any issues. The technician was courteous and performed his duties adequately. However, despite being promised a comprehensive report by the end of the day, I did not receive it. After waiting for about a week, I attempted to contact Energy Monster through their online email system. I received a reply, but the report was still not provided; I was merely informed that someone would reach out to me shortly. Another week passed without any report or follow-up call. I emailed them again and received a response containing the general manager's contact information, with the assurance that he would get in touch with me. Unfortunately, I never received a call or email from the manager. It was only after I threatened to leave negative reviews that I finally received a call, which I missed, but I promptly returned the call and left a message. The following day, I still had not heard back from the general manager. Frustrated, I decided to follow through on my intention to write a review. I strongly advise against using this company for any energy consultations or audits, as my experience has been extremely disappointing. There are numerous other reputable companies with better reviews and superior customer service. I am very dissatisfied with Energy Monster. To avoid unnecessary frustration, I recommend choosing a different company.

Update (12-19-20): Two years have passed since this negative experience, and I have recently discovered that this company failed to complete and assess the entire energy audit. I subsequently had another energy assessment conducted by a much more competent company, which revealed all the tasks that Energy Monster neglected. For example, they did not seal similar air leaks in the basement or attic, nor did they insulate the first six feet of hot water piping. Additionally, I did not receive the energy-efficient LED light bulbs. The technician from Energy Monster spent a mere 45 minutes in my home, while the new company dedicated 3 to 4 hours to sealing leaks and thoroughly assessing energy deficiencies. My experience with Energy Monster was truly abysmal.

Good company and good work. 5 stars for all the workers for sure. They were all fantastic, especially Kyle and Edgar, very likeable and easy to talk to. We got our home insulated and had a mini split installed. Work was also done very well. Only reason for 4 stars was the scheduling. Our wall insulation was postponed because of rain and instead of being scheduled for the next sunny day they put us out over a week later. Not sure how that scheduling makes any sense but not too big a deal. Either way we're very happy with the end result and would definitely recommend energy monster especially if you can get into the home MVP program, great incentives.

Wattson HS (Monster Energy) installed Solar panels at our place. They said it will take 4 months, and they were done in 4 months, and a month later city permit and Net Metering were done. Kevin was my go to person. I asked him maybe a 100 questions and he replied to me within 5 to 10 minutes. Kyle handled all the major stuff. I talked to several installers before zeroing in on Monster. They gave me exactly what I was looking for QCells paired with Enphase IQ8A. Everyone else was giving me different inverters. Secondly their price was the best. Thirdly they accepted payment with credit card. Most others wanted checks. I highly recommend them!!

Had this company do insulation in my attic and my exterior walls, was told that the wood clap boards sidings had to be removed for them to blow the insulation which was understandable but instead the contractor who showed up to do the job broke every board in half, and used glue to put the board together, VERRY UNPROFESSIONAL, complaint about it,haven’t heard back, wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone and nails were not picked up

Energy Monster Installers did a great job: Jose and his brother were my installers and they were super thorough, clean, courteous and all around nice people to deal with. They took the time to answer my questions and reviewed the instructions for the unit. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

Watson Home Solutions did a fantastic job installing our mini-splits. They were professional and diligent, setting up 4 mini-splits in our home. All the equipment was tested and demonstrated before they left. When we later opted to install wall thermostats, Angel came out and set everything up for us. Great company, excellent install team. They will take good care of you.

Energy Monster, Now Wattson Home Solutions, did a great job. Always confirmed house appointments and never no-showed. We’re new to Massachusetts so had no clue what the MassSaves program entailed, but all folks from this company went the extra mile and left no energy gap unfixed! They even told us the best solution for cooling our home was a service they didn’t provide at the time (systems with ducts) RATHER than sell us a bunch of mini splits that wouldn’t have been as effective.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Energy Monster! We had a fairly large installation of ductless mini-splits installed, along with removal of the existing system, and everyone involved were very professional and skilled. Not only did they get the job finished when promised, but in fact after I got my heat loan so quickly they moved up the installation by a week. The Mitsubishi AC units have had a good workout with the recent hot weather, and they are working great (and are amazingly quiet). Highly recommended!

Jim and Jose both were great. Jim did a great job with designing our heat pump plan, which was not an easy job(9 indoor handlers!) and was prompt and communicated very well through-out the process.

Jose and crew who installed the heat pumps in scorching heat of July were one of the best crews I have seen. Very courteous, knowledgable and just great people to let work in your house. Jose and team effectively communicated what and how they were doing installation and we felt we were part of the plan through out.

We had multiple quotes from from diamond Mitsubishi contractors and we chose Energy Monster as we were looking for reliable contractor who can handle a complicated install and provide a great service. We Would highly recommend Energy Monster.

Jim was our 1st contact with Energy Monsters when he came to assess the sizing and installation of 2 mini-split heat pumps. We discussed the best locations for them and where we would prefer to locate the outside condenser units. He promptly got back to us with a proposal that would qualify for the Mass Save whole house rebate. The heat pumps are now installed and working properly. The installation crew with Jose and Angel were all very professional and courteous. The electrician did a good job running a conduit and wiring into the service box without interrupting house power. They were responsive to my inputs and re-routed a drain hose to my preferred location. When completed, they gave a quick instruction lesson on how to run the heat pumps and Jim filed for the rebate for us with Mass Save. Altogether, the job seems to have been well done and I would recommend Energy Monsters to my friends.

I reached out to Wattson Home Solutions for some air sealing and ventilation work I needed done on a 125 year old house I just bought. The sales rep, Brian, was not pushy and provided a hassle-free quote. Scheduling with Nicole was straightforward and she even managed to pull our install date forward by two weeks when there was a cancellation.

All in all a great experience and I will be working with them again next year for an insulation project.

I had a great experience with Wattson Home Solutions for work on adding air sealing and insulation to my home. The team member that came out to perform the work were all hard workers, and Will walked me through everything they were doing, providing insightful background for deciding whether or not to do certain details of the work, giving the pros/cons of each option; in the end, I was able to save some money compared to the original quote. I was very happy with their work and service.

Had Wattson home solutions do a mass save energy audit on my house. They installed insulation and mini split system on my house. Everything went perfect and am very happy with all the work they did. Courtney and Patrick and all the workers that came were very nice and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend

I looked at several different companies before choosing Energy Monster. The sales process was very professional and they offered by far the best value. The value was so much better that I was actually a little worried that the deal was "too good to be true." But they absolutely delivered on their promises through the install and operations. Great company and I highly recommend them!

Scam alert! First, they take a big part of payment upfront, then start ignoring you. Second, if you cancel the project, they do not honor the cancellation clause in their contract. They have eaten up tens of thousands of our money without doing any physical work.

Love the whole team at Energy Monster! Jim did a very thorough Mass Save Audit for us and helped us figure out why our house was so cold in the winter (zero insulation in our 1870s walls!) and helped us set up having Pat and his insulation crew come out to make things right. Everyone was professional, efficient, and kind. The insulation crew finished in half the time I thought they needed, wrapping up early each day and cleaning everything up so there was almost no evidence they had been there! And our house feels warmer and quieter already -- amazing! Also a special thank you to Tawny and Courtney at the office -- they very quickly resent the knob & tube form that my electrician needed to sign when I couldn't find the original PDF in my email. They were professional and helpful when I was panicking. Thank you! I really love working with this company, and I look forward to having them come back to install mini-splits and solar panels! Update as of 6/18/21:
We had previously worked with Energy Monster on a Mass Save audit and then having them add insulation to our house. This time, we had the guys from Energy Monster back again to perform an electrical upgrade on our house (100 to 200 amps) and then install five ductless mini-splits for more efficient heating/cooling than our ancient terrible radiators. Despite dealing with a lot of obstacles -- a heat delay due to several 90 degree days and then tons of rain that prevented them from doing the outside work on the days they wanted -- the whole team was professional and efficient and made the most of the time when the weather finally cooperated! (Plus, my dog loved the whole crew and they loved him back.) It has been such a pleasure to work with Energy Monster as we turn our house into the energy efficient home of our dreams. Thank you!! We can't wait for Energy Monster to come back later this summer to install solar panels next!

Used them for my solar install and they were wonderful. Very responsive and kept us up to date throughout the entire process. Would recommend!

They installed mini splits in our house. First they pushed and pushed to start the work before the loan came through, which it didn’t and then we had to pay out of pocket. We were told we had to be home so someone could come by and explain how the system works. That never happened. Now we’re having our siding replaced due to visible rot and it turns out the crew attached the water lines with electrical tape. Water was pouring down in between the siding and the house itself, causing damage.

Our home assessment was on time, by Mr. James Oconnor of Wattson Home Solutions. It was professionally done. The installation, post installation instructions were done very well. The installation crew, led by Jose, was very professional. This group is highly recommended by me.

I signed a contract with Wattson for solar panel installation at my house. In the first stages they do electrical design, which is essentially some drawings in a pdf and take half of the money (I paid about 18k). Then they start to ghost. They barely answer the calls, no plans for next steps after 3 months. Before getting half of the money for the easy part of their obligations, they were responsive, after that they are ghosting.
