I contacted Adam a while back to install switches and lighting to my-at that time-unfinished basement. He came out, asked me questions and provided me with a quote shortly thereafter. I accepted and I’m glad I did. Adam and Justin were very professional and friendly. When I had questions, they took the time to explain in a way that made sense to a non-electrician! I won’t be calling any other electricians again. I found my team!

I'd been looking for a master electrician to install the wiring for a whole house backup system. I found Adam Electric Shop while searching online & decided to contact them based on their rating.

It was clear that they are extremely busy, but Adam made it a point to respond to my texts and emails as soon as possible, sometimes at 11:30 pm in the night. Adam installed a 50A generator backup circuit with manual transfer switch and lockout. He also installed a 11.5kW hardwired EV charger for us (60A circuit). Very professional & high quality work! Even the inspector from the township was impressed. I will definitely call Adam Electric if I need any additional work done in the future.

Had a partial outage in my house late last night. Went to bed to realize in the morning my furnace went also. Adams was recommended by my sister, so i called. He helped me fix the problem temporarily while in another location, with an appointment to permanently fix later. I cannot describe my gratitude for what he did. Great shop, definitely recommend .

A storm sent a branch that tore lines from the side of our home. Adam's sent Justin repaired everything and even took the time to repair a hole in our wood siding where a piece got torn off. He is very friendly, professional and meticulous and took his time to get everything right. We had only to wait for DTE to return to inspect the work and reconnect the lines to the power as only they are allowed to. Very satisfied.

Justin is the best! Adams Electric Shop was contacted by our Condo Management Office to resolve an issue with the lighting in one of our carports. Justin with Adam's Electric Shop is a stand up guy! He evaluated my plans for my new build scheduled to start this October. He even took the time to meet and go over the plans from the builder and custom designed all the lighting. Will definitely be using Adams when we break ground.

With the recent storms that have passed through Washtenaw Co. I had what appeared to be a surge take out my upstairs wall outlets. Unfortunately, it happened after hours and I was unable to reach an electrician. The following morning I called Adams after being unable to reach my normal contactor. Justin did some exterior electric repair for me at my home in Novi. He was professional and courteous. An all-around nice guy to talk to and work with. I recommend them to anyone. Fast diagnosis and repair, and took care of my yard when completed. I couldn't ask for better service.

We've had fantastic service from Adams Electric Shop. They did a great job fixing our dryer outlet issue and helped us avoid a service call for a different issue another time by walking us through troubleshooting steps. They are very honest, friendly, and knowledgeable!

Strongly recommend. Justin was great, took a look at our 1960s-era carport with outdated motion detector lights and shoddily installed canopy lighting and came up with an overhaul plan that was perfect and brought us up to code. Also troubleshooted 2-way switches around the house and hung a large and awkward pendant light over our front door.

I called Adam with an electrical problem. Instead of immediately coming over and charging a service fee, he asked a few questions and helped me diagnose and fix it myself quickly--didn't even charge me. I had multiple electrical jobs that needed to be done around the house - Adam had excellent communication, a quick schedule for an estimate, and a fair price. 2 workers came out at the scheduled time and they were polite, efficient, and obviously very skilled! Adam ran all the behind the scenes activities with permits and even set up an appointment with the town to inspect the work. I don't often need an electrician, but Adam is my guy when I do!
