It was a pleasure working with Scott and his team on our new, gorgeous composite deck!!! We would give Scott 10 stars if we could. Honesty, competent, trustworthy and respectful should be this company’s middle name. Scott’s team are as courteous as they are highly skilled. These guys are the best. If you want excellent work with competitive pricing, look no further. If you want a contractor who cares, this company is a perfect fit. We are also grateful for Scott’s excellent communication skills and easy going nature. The whole process was a breeze. We had seen a friend’s beautiful deck, which Scott and his crew had built, and are so happy we put our trust in him for ours!! Bravo!!

Scott and his team did an incredible job on a complete tear-down and rebuild of two decks. They were excellent with communication, proficient in their skill, and a delight to work with. Scott was also super creative, helpful in educating us about all of our options, and surprisingly affordable. Can't recommend enough!

Fabulous experience working with Scott at Signature Decks. He was recommended to us by a family friend and I'm so glad they did. Our deck is a very important feature for our house, so we did our research and obtained 4 quotes beforehand. Scott was very professional, prompt and straightforward. He isn't pushy or schmoozy and was respectful of our time. Really appreciated how no-nonsense the process was. This stood out a LOT from other companies I met with who very much treated us like #s and not actual people, with obvious focus on sales and aggressive advertising at the expense of product and customer.

You can tell Signature takes pride in their work and on doing a good, honest job. The crew was punctual, polite, worked hard (long hours, outside in January!), and were tidy and cleaned up everything. They even thanked us for the work. The deck turned out perfect and was done in a very timely manner. We love it! It is beautiful and well made, exactly what were wanted. We highly recommend these guys.

P.S. I also just wanted to add that the bigger names give you a "discount" to leave them 5 stars. To me, that is buying a review and is further evidence of BS (plus, they inflate the price in the first place). So, for the record, I was happy to leave a review and chose to give 5/5 because the deck and experience was really that great!

Can't say enough good things about our experience with Scott and the crew. Responsive, patient, and really showed some great customer service throughout the project. The guys were always nice and polite. They really wanted things to be right and exactly how we wanted it. The finished product is awesome. We really can't wait for spring to spend tons of time out there. From start to finish, these guys delivered and I'd recommend them for any deck project!!

We LOVE our new composite deck by Signature Decks & Construction! There was a beautiful variety of materials from which to choose, and we feel the pricing was competitive. Scott was very responsive and courteous throughout the entire process, and so was his crew. We are so happy to be enjoying our deck again, after it was destroyed by storms last year. Scott just completed our new deck, and it was built precisely to the plans I had provided to him. We really enjoyed working with Scott on our project, he communicated with us very well from start to finish. The same goes for the crew he had building our deck. They were respectful of our property and often asked if we had any questions or concerns from the tear off of the old deck through the completion of the new one. After seeing examples of his other projects and after he explained his process I knew I found my guy. He also handled all of the paperwork with Miss-Dig and the permits which was very considerate.

So happy with the outcome of our new deck! Scott and his crew thought of everything. Checking in often with schedule updates, placement of equipment, lining up cement company, clean-up, etc. They went above and beyond helping me with things that were not even a part of the actual project (ie. pulling large scrubs out of landscaping and trenching a new path for our down spout). The crew was professional and timely. They worked hard and always cleaned up before leaving for the day. I am so very happy and impressed with their level of kindness. Highly recommend!!

Scott and his team were great to work with, from estimating and design, through teardown and construction. They were responsive, flexible, professional, hard-working, and friendly. And, I guess most importantly, the deck turned out exactly as we had hoped.

Scott was the only person who would touch my weird deck repair issue; he and his crew did an amazing job with it! My large, 20+ year old, elevated, composite deck started pulling away from my house and thereby started to cave in along the house where the joists no longer sat on the support brackets. The composite decking boards were the only thing keeping the joists from falling to the ground. The insurance adjuster and three contractors had never seen anything like it. The insurance company called in an engineer who said it could be repaired if the sagging joists were lifted and winched back into place, new supports installed and lateral load ties used to prevent lateral movement again. Looking at it, I didn't know if it was possible but Scott did it. A big concern was the the composite deck boards could shatter or would remain warped/uneven after raising them back up from their stretched, sagged position. But it looks almost exactly like it did before the partial collapse.
I could have replaced the whole deck but that is expensive and an investment that we are unlikely to recoup since we may move soon. And we rarely use the deck ourselves. So we opted for the risky repair first to see if it would work.
I mentioned I had three contractors visit and therefore had three new deck quotes. (Scott was the only one willing to tackle the repair and the fee was reasonable.) Scott's full replacement cost was the most competitive and I would have used him for the full replacement.
Scott is very knowledgeable, willing to tackle a challenge, and easy to communicate with. I would definitely choose to use him again in the future.

I don't have enough positive things to say about Scott and Signature Decks & Construction. From quote process through project completion, he and his crew were professional, on time, and communicated exceptionally well. For instance, when he realized that our new 4 ft. deck stairs would be right over top of our septic tanks, Scott called us (because we were out of town) and gave us several alternative options on stair placement and even sent us a video on how those options would look (and when all was said and done, we actually love where our stairs are now as opposed to where they were before!). That kind of communication and professionalism was very much appreciated. The crew who constructed the deck were on time every single day and worked diligently even though it was blazing hot out. As you can tell, I loved everything about my experience with Signature Decks and I would recommend them to anyone!
