We can't say enough good things about Blissfied Hvac. We have rental homes in Adrian, and Jackson. We have used them for several annual maintenance jobs, and at least 4 larger projects in those rentals, and our own home, since 2013. Don, the owner has been wonderful every time we call. All of their staff: Bryan, Shawn, and the office staff are all amazing. The office staff are great about getting appointments scheduled, and communicating details. Bryan, is so friendly with us, and our obnoxious dog, and yet he is efficient, competent, and helpful in making decisions about how to address problems. Shawn too is friendly, competent, and helpful, and he has a level of technical knowledge that exceeds any HVAC technical person, we have ever seen. Everyone at Blissfield HVAC is professional, and it's clear that they have been trained to put the customer's needs first. Not many companies are consistent at that, so it shows that Don, the owner cares, and wants to keep you as his customer for life.
We had been so disappointed with another HVAC company in Adrain that we was relieved to find Don, and his company, and staff. We will always call Blissfield HVAC, and we highly recommend, and most importantly we TRUST them them.
Finally, the employees all say that they love Don. He has been an excellent employer, and that says it all. You have to take good care of your employees, is you want to be successful!

Owner Don saved me $3800 by fixing a simple electrical component in 20 minutes when another HVAC company said my compressor was completely shot and I needed a new AC system. Will be calling Blissfield Heating for all my HVAC needs from now on. Highly recommended.

Very unsatisfied. Overcharged to install a new sink and drain in the first place and then they had to come back two separate times to repair a leak because the "plumber" forgot to use putty / silicone when installing the new flange in the sink. First time I used them and I would not recommend.

I can't say enough about how honest the owner of this company, Don Janiszewski, is. He gave me multiple options with pros and cons on how to deal with my old furnace and air conditioner, which were repairable. I never felt pressured to replace the units, but I decided to replace both of them last December. Therefore, this review is not only about Blissfield Heating and Plumbing's service, but also about the products I chose.

My old furnace was a Lennox, which I really liked. It gave me years of trouble-free service and heated my 2600 sq. ft. house adequately. I replaced it and the air conditioner with Amana products. I researched their history before making the decision, comparing them to other brands and weighing out costs, reliability, and warranties, along with how long the companies supported their old products and parts availability. Lack of parts availability was a major reason for me replacing the Lennox, even though Don, the owner, offered me a work around solution. Don was extremely patient in answering all of my questions.

I chose the Amana AMVC96 furnace, and am highly satisfied with it. At first, I had a hard time getting used to how loud the air movement sounded coming out of the vents. It has a two-stage, variable speed blower motor. The motor itself is quiet, it's the actual air flow through the vents that I'm hearing. However, this system brings the temperature of my house up very quickly and doesn't have the drafts or periods of too hot then too cold that my old furnace had. This was the most comfortable winter in my house that I've ever had. Who knew that changing a furnace could make such a difference? As my old furnace was also a high efficiency furnace, I've seen just a slight drop in my heating bill. However, my house has a much more even and consistent temperature than it did with the Lennox.

As for the Amana air conditioner, (I chose the ASX16), I've only used it once so far this year, and it was only to drop the house temp by one degree to get some of the humidity out. It accomplished this very quickly.

The installation of both units was done in two days time, and the two workers were constantly on the go. They are definitely not slackers. After the old furnace was removed, Don stopped by to check on the job and showed me that my old unit actually had a crack in the cast iron heat exchanger. Definitely made the right choice in getting it replaced! My only regret is that I didn't think to put a drop cloth down on the rugs/carpet in the basement where they had to do some minor cuts on some PVC pipe. The shavings were a bear to get out of the carpet! Also, make sure you get any rebate paperwork back to BP&H in a very timely manner. My install was done in December, and, evidently, the cut off date was December 31st, less than 30 days after the install. Therefore, I didn't get any of my rebates. Sigh..., but not BP&H's fault.

Overall, I highly recommend Don Janiszewski and his company. He still runs his company with old time values and cares about his customers. And the people he employs do the same.

I cannot say enough nice things about BHP. Our furnace went out overnight, they quickly diagnosed the problem and found a replacement part in Toledo and had the job done quickly considering the travel they had to do to get the part. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

I am so pleased with this company! I was desperate to get a furnace fixed which is located on the roof of a two story condo. I was leaving the condo after an appointment with heating and cooling repair man after he told me he couldn’t go on the roof of a two story building. I just happened to drive by Blissfied Heating and Plumbing and noticed there was an open sign on the door. I took a chance and went into the building and Don was able to come over, climb on the roof and fix the problem in less than 30 minutes! What a huge relief! I am so very grateful for his kindness, knowledge and work ethic. Thank you, Don!

For starters, Gail has been so wonderful to work with! She is an absolute delight! We had BHP fix our shower head arm that broke off in the wall as well as running Propane gas lines for all of our new appliances. The shower repair went well and the plumber was very pleasant. I am a firm believer that the way a business handles an "out of the ordinary situation" really speaks to their character. We had a unique situation with our propane install and BHP was incredible with it! Gail and the owner Don made sure that everything was just as we needed it and they assured the set up was SAFE and up to the companies standards!!! The owner himself came out to assure it was as it should be. The install didn't just function but it looks good too! The way a company handles uncommon issues speaks to their integrity and character. BHP was top notch in making sure we were taken care of!! We love this company from the owner to office staff and especially their technicians. We are working on an old farm house so that made putting in a new bath and relocating the existing one a major project. They made it look easy. The plumbers were so nice and professional and did a great job. Working around us doing other projects all the time being so patient. They were able to put heat ducts up stairs when another company said we would have to buy a second heat source for up there. Once again the technicians were pros.Pricing was very fair. We feel we got a lot of bang for our buck from this company and would use and recommend them again. My husband is very please and that it self is one heck of a testamonial .

Great company! They installed a new furnace, AC and water heater in our home. They did a good job and made sure everything was cleaned up each day.
All the staff is super nice to work with.

Ive had a few issues with boiler. They are very good to come asap to fix it, so I rate them high on cust service. I recently had condensation in the pipes and the service guy was quick to spot and said they were not installed well, but as I have had them there every year would you not think they would have fixed it before or at least said something? I had a new blower installed the year before, so part of me thinks they caused it, but I still had to pay the service. That's the reason for only 4 stars. I do recommend them.

Called on a weekend and didn't get a response either. So guess that changes my mind on calling them again.

Just had one of their service vans delivery pull out in front of me, if I didn't slam on my brakes I wouldn't hit him passenger side.

The technician was on time and friendly. Able to fix the problem for a reasonable price.

I had a good experience with Clint who came to do a maintenance check on our furnace. He answered my questions in a way I could understand and gave me some helpful tips after the boil water advisory we had in Tecumseh.

After being a very happy customer of BHP for nearly ten years when it came time for new central AC I looked no further than BHP. I also took their welcome advice that my furnace was on its last leg. I was advised that there are advantages to installing matched technology and products from Amana. So without even getting a quote from anyone else I selected BHP to replace my furnace, central AC and install an additional duct to even things out in my home. Working with BHP was a joy and the two professionals that they sent to my home for the two days this took Austin and Philip were not only excellent they were a joy to have in my home. The work they did is nothing short of beautifully thought out and executed with no corners cut. The system fired up and worked flawlessly the first time when they were done. My home was also left as clean as it was when they arrived (spotless) and that mattered to me and was very much appreciated. The quotation process and educating me about heat pump technology which my new Amana AC is was handled by BHP owner Don. Don came out and he really knows his stuff. I was completely comfortable with him and trusted him as well and he did not let me down. My contact with the BHP mother ship in Blissifield was with Gail and she was also a joy to deal with and kept me well informed with my expectations properly set at all times. They also accommodated my unusual work schedule making this entire experience effortless on my part. Immediately after the system was installed we had over a week of heat in the 90's. The new AC was superb with even and reliable cooling everywhere in my home. Instead of the old system where it would get noticeably warmer before the AC kicked on this system, the heat pump technology works differently and better. It runs as a low level and is so quiet I could not even tell it was on without feeling the vents. My home stayed where I set my new Amana smart thermostat with phone app precisely and my home is now more comfortable than ever before. As a bonus these products are more efficient and will cost me less in utility bills and this also helps me help our planet which is important to me. In short I am thrilled and I've also received some of the best warranties in the business making any large bills for me to repair things not a worry for the next 5 - 10 years. Thank You Blissfield Heating and Plumbing for superb service, the best people to work with and excellent products and technology that were a great fit for my home and life.

Awesome service and staff. called for information on an issue, Don came out, gave me a reasonable quote on the work required. The next day two friendly technicians arrived and completed the work. These guys are pros hands down.

I can't say enough about Don the owner and BH&P. I had a power surge that fried my furnace and my water heater. He came out in about an hr. Don Gave me some Options and had me up and running with heat till he got the other parts he needed. Saved me money and did one hell of a job. Ive never left a review before so that should tell you how impressed i was with him and his people . Give him a shot you won't regret it.

Blissfield heating and plumbing did an outstanding job in an emergency situation where the previous furnace failed on a single digit temperature day.

I rent a home in Tecumseh and there's a family of six there so it was imperative that the furnace be replaced as soon as possible.

They brought over portable electric heaters to keep the house warm because the temperature was going down to six degrees that night.

The next morning they obtained a new furnace and had it installed in a matter of hours ...saving the day.

I called a few different places it was a weekend they answered quickly and responded first. Their answering service told me somebody would get back to me very shortly and they were not kidding.

Don came out and fixed an issue we were having right away within 25 mins of calling he was at my house fixing the issues. Would recommend to anyone having heating and cooling issues!

BHP performed a complete demolition and installation of new ductwork in my home along with a new heat pump / gas furnace. They were able to answer all my questions along the way, help complete all the rebate paperwork, and very flexible on timing. The installation crew was very professional and courteous. They also cleaned up all of their debris each day before leaving.
