Matt and his team put in a retaining wall in my backyard this spring. The quality is wonderful and I am very happy with the results. Matt was on time and worked hard until the wall was complete. I am planning on another landscaping project next summer.

we were looking for. Perfect mix of plants and trees. Added slab stone that finished it off. Spaans also tore out an old sidewalk and constructed a beautiful paver walkway to our front porch. The final bill was just as he quoted! Thank you Spaans Landscaping!

Absolutely satisfied with the quality of work that Matt and his team provided for our family cottage! They installed a paver patio, a stone walkway and a large asphalt parking area. We had drainage problems on both sides of our cottage when there was heavy rain. Matt graded the area and installed drainage away from the house and solved our problem. Any future landscape needs we might have we will be calling Spaans Landscape Management.

I felt like he was very thorough when he came out to discuss the project and he was great at communicating when he was planning to start and finish. Wow! I hired Spaans to re-landscape my commercial building and from start to finish it was just excellent. Here’s what Matt and his team did well and why I would hire him again and recommend to everyone
1. Responded quickly to my initial email
2. Upfront explained that he would love the work but couldn’t start for 4 months
3. Came out when he promised to look at the project
4. Provided detailed quote quickly after visit
5. When the project came in a little higher than I had budgeted, he gave me ideas of where to trim to get the project in line with my numbers
6. Followed up when I flaked on making a decision
7. Asked for a reasonable deposit
8. Emailed to ask if he could start the job a month early because of an opening
9. Emailed when weather delayed the project by one day
10. Showed up on time as promised with all the equipment and got right to work
11. When they accidentally damaged a sprinkler head, he called my sprinkler service to arrange it to be fixed without even bothering me about it
12. Cleaned up everything perfectly
13. Made sure that I was 100% happy with the end result

I’ve had such trouble with contractors promising to do all the above but Matt and his team actually DID it.

We are so happy that we had Matt and his crew do our landscaping project. We had a great experience with his crew. We had an area that had runoff problems and was very unsightly, and they came up with a very nice solution. In addition, they were just a bunch of very nice guys, and they worked very fast. We especially appreciated the collaborative approach which Matt used during the work to finalize many of the project details. At the completion of the work, they did a nice clean up job. They even left us with extra grass seed and straw. We highly recommend them.
