    🛑BUYER BEWARE 🛑
There are several other companies happy to have your business. This is not one of them.

They will install but will not service your unit. Extremely unprofessional, rude, hostile over the phone. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Let your fingers do the walking in the Yellow Pages.

These guys can do the job, but have no interest in listening to you regarding what needs to be done. After explaining, at length, what the problem was and what the solution might be, they proceeded to ignore everything I said and do what they wanted to do. Then come back and do what I asked them to do. Cost me almost $200. Make sure you write out what you want done, stand up for yourself and don't be intimidated.

Jesse was so helpful. Found the issue with my furnace instantly and answered all my questions. I’ll definitely call Brooklyn Plumbing and Heating for all my repairs.

Mike was very professional and knew immediately what the problem was. It took less than 30 minutes for him to get the furnace back in working order. Great job Mike. We will be using Brooklyn Plumbing, Heating And Cooling again if the need arises!

Dont use this company!!! The tech cme to replace a water heater and when he did so he used the wrong fittings. The pipe fitting he installed broke due to the tech using a pvc fitting instead of sweating on a metal fitting. The pvc did not hold long. When i finaly had to go down and check it myself and noticed the fitting did not hold. So i called these guys back and asked them to come fix it. They refused and denied doing it. I tried to ask them to come take a look and fix it if they did it for free because it was there mistake i woulda been happy. Or if they even came out and fixed it and gave me a bill that woulda been fine. No these scumbags out right refused to come back out at all. I am having trouble getting another company to fix it because they say the company who put it in was responsible for one of two things. Either they did not do a safety check as required and in skipping the safety check they dud not notice the erong fitting or they put in the fitting and did a sloppy job. I went down myself when they installed the water heater but was told by the tech that those where the right parts. So not only do they do shoddy work but they charge crazy money for work they dont even do and then if you ask for it to be fixed even at my or your own expence they refused to come back and fix what they mess up. The tech was rude and unprofessional and i hope none of you fall into there con. There are plenty of good companies. Ill pay more or fix it myself because those crooks will never be called by me again. Able heating and kooling thats where we go now and they seem alot better.

We had a new high efficiency Navien combination gas boiler and water heater ("Combi") installed through Brooklyn, to replace the ~25 year old Lochinvar boiler that came with the house. Jesse was a very knowledgeable installer, answered all my questions, and showed me the different components of the system. In addition, he was able to retain my outdoor wood burner functionality, integrate it with the Navien via plate heat exchanger, and my Nest Learning thermostats are all working with the system. I haven't confirmed how the outdoor wood burner will work with the new system yet (I've been enjoying not having to cut and load wood since the Navien was installed), but I see no reason it wouldn't still work the same as before, just more efficiently since the outdoor unpressurized wood burner is now separated completely from the indoor pressurized system, but still connected through the plate heat exchanger.

All in all, I am satisfied with the installation from Brooklyn, and highly recommend Jesse if you need a boiler installed. He not only knew how to install the system, but he also seemed to actually *understand* how the system operated, why it operated that way, etc. I've met plenty of contractors whose employees know to do X, Y, or Z, but don't fully understand the *why*, and it shows when they run into a problem and don't know how to troubleshoot because they don't fully understand the system and its mechanics. Similar to knowing how to put the graphics card, RAM, CPU, etc. in a computer to build it, but then encounter a problem with the operation and can't troubleshoot easily because you don't know how it all works together as a system. That did not seem to be the case with Jesse and/or Brooklyn.

Definitely recommend! Also, it's worth noting I had 4-5 estimates for the new boiler from various companies, and Brooklyn was cheaper than the rest which to be honest was not what I expected.

I’ve used Brooklyn Plumbing and Heating for several things in my home: plumbing, dishwasher, garbage disposal, water heater.

BP & H staff are very professional, thorough and communicate!

I am a committed and happy customer!

Heat went out on a Sunday of one of the colder weekends of the year. Figured I'd be waiting forever but was pleasantly surprised. The technician who arrived was knowledgeable about our prehistoric boiler and was able to get the heat going in mere minutes. He offered suggestions about what to do to keep the aforementioned dinosaur working as long as possible.

I too had the joy of paying $138.00 to have the plumber look in my crawl space and complain about the cobwebs. I needed my toilet line to the main line repaired. I have a high water table with some standing water. He refused to work on it unless I had a hazmat unit clean it up! My son came over the next day and we removed the water with a sump pump and 45 mins. later we were up and running. The plumber had an attitude when got here to begin with because it was Friday evening. Thanks for nothing!!!

Saturday no heat call. Technician was responsive and here when he said he would be which is great. My problem was with the price i felt i was double charged for service. The thermocouple was 26. 00 but i was charged 180. 00 for emergency labor fee an hour and a 80.00 service call which i feel is redundent. So 260.00 labor and service call and 26.00 for parts sums it up.

Was asking for a quote of an exact product and let them know I realized they would need to come out for a complete quote. I was told quite rudley that "without being rude I don't have time to quote you a job I won't get" Needless to say that was the end of the call and any chance of doing business. If you know you are being rude then don't be.

Absolutely happy with the plumbing repair service. The responsible pricing made it budget-friendly, and Mike, our plumber, was not just skilled but a true gem of a person—kind, patient, and friendly.

Long booking for appointments 2 weeks out and that's if you are already a client. last minute show ups with no notice and was charged more then quoted on the second appt. He did do a good job though....

Just had Brooklyn come out to inspect our boiler and furnace. The technician was on time, friendly and safe. He cleaned both units and spent time talking with me about what he saw in each. One small part needed to be replaced and he was able to do it immediately. I will be calling them again!

Our furnace went out in February, the day we were leaving for an out of town vacation. We called Brooklyn Heating and they sent a tech out to investigate. Unfortunately our 23yr old furnace was DOA. We left for vacation and while we were we gone, we got a quote and a new furnace/AC was installed. We came home to a warm house. The installers were efficient neat and clean. I rarely write reviews , but we were so please with the whole process, I had to share.

Jason came out and replaced our hot water heater, fixed 2 broken pipes that had frozen over the winter, and installed shutoff valves for our bonus room. He was very polite, professional, and fast. I'd gladly use these guys again and would recommend them to anyone.
