I had a tree removed that was in close proximity to my garage. The crew carefully removed the tree and did a great job cleaning up the property. I would recommend them for any job from a pruning to a complicated removal.

The service was excellent all the way round. The entire team was great to work with. Needed a fallen tree removed and I could not have been happier with the results. Very nice and polite staff. Highly recommend!

The owner came out the same day I called (Sunday) and gave me an estimate. The work was completed the following Tuesday. The crew did an excellent job. Polite, efficient and cleaned up all debris. The owner came by afterward to make sure I was happy with the work. This is now my go to service for any future work.

I've used Alan's Tree Service for many years. Ed Martin has advised me on many of my landscaping plans, suggested various trees and shrubs, recommended pruning when appropriate and how to treat various problems related to plantings on my property. I have come to trust his advice implicitly and recommend his work.

Ed Martin had called me in to remove a giant high risk silver maple from a clients back yard, I worked a 10hr day and him and I had agreed upon a "day by day" rate, it came time for him to pay me and my guy for our services and he had under paid me and my guy, the owner of this company is not trust worthy and is very capable of looking you in your eyes and shaking your hand then going back on his word in the blink of an eye. I would highly recommend going with a different company for tree work.

Ed was great and his crew of 3 that came out did an excellent job! They removed 2 large pine trees and did not leave a mess behind, very professional and knew what they were doing. I would definitely use them again and recommend to family and friends!

Alans tree service was working in my neighbors yard.,cutting a very large tree. Towards the end of his cutting of the tree, he politely asked me if it would be ok, I said sure. He not only cleaned up, but he also cut some other surrounding limbs that were hanging over my truck. He and his crew were awesome., and professional.

Edward was very prompt with his response. He scheduled the service just a couple of day after the quote. The crew was very attentive to any request and they cleaned the area extremely well once finished. They trimmed three trees and two big bushes. Very good work and I highly recommend them.

We just moved to the area, and our yard had a SUPER neglected pear tree in desperate need of a trim. We called around, and had estimates anywhere from $275 to $400, and some even recommended tearing down the tree all together. I wanted to at least try to keep the tree going for a year, just to see what it's potential is.
Ed came by, offered a great price (winter price, but pear trees need late winter trims before they bud), had the guys out the next day, and then offered follow up once the tree starts to flower and produce leaves so he could give me recommendation for future fruit production. Ed loves what he does and it shows. He will be great resource for my future tree inquiries.

We have been Clawson residents since 1977. We have used other tree services, in the past. By far, Alan's Tree Services exceeded all our expectations. From tree removal, stump removal, and cleanup they were far superior. I was concerned about our neighbor's driveway being so close to the tree, but there wasn't any debris in their driveway. We will definitely be using Alan's Tree Service again. Thankyou!

I found Alan's Tree Services through the Arboriculture Society of Michigan's arborist directory. Ed came out quickly and gave a very fair estimate. Work was completed a few days later and the tree looks great! They cleaned up all of the debris and didn't leave a trace! I would definitely recommend Alan's Tree Services.

Ed's team was out yesterday. Exactly on time and went right to work. Safely removed a 40+ foot Silver Maple from our backyard and trimmed our other trees. We are extremely satisfied. Both with the price and the work performed. Joe was extremely impressive with his climbing skills and the other guys were very friendly and went above and beyond with the stump grinding and cleanup. Would have no hesitation to call upon them again.

Have had Ed & his crew out 3 different times to remove trees & tree trimming. They were very efficient, clean up was great & everything do in a timely manor. They were very knowledgeable on when trees should be trimmed and which trees were good for replacements. Have recommend them to neighbors & friends. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Great first experience! They were working on my neighbor's trees and I had an impending emergent situation with a huge limb hanging precariously over our power lines and I needed help fast. Owner Ed Martin came over and gave us a very competitive quote and came back when he said he would. His crew of guys were professional and our tree climber Anthony was an absolute artist up high! it was not his first rodeo!

I have a sizable lot that had a lot of brush and trees taking up space. This is my second time hiring this company for stump removal, tree trimming and removal. Ed and his crew at Alan's Tree Service are professional and polite. They are very hard workers and they get the job done in a very efficient amount of time. They showed up at 8:30 AM and were done with the project by 1:00 PM. Prices are competitive.
