Mr. Kuipers a very personable, knowledgeable and trustworthy electrician along with his assistant installed our generator in a very profesional manner. Both impressed me!

We have had Abe at our home doing various electrical jobs three different times
This last time, he ran wiring to to two bedrooms to install baseboard heaters. The access to those areas was not easy to get to but he made it happen.
He also switched out all of our dated tube lights and replaced with LED’s.
Always very respectful and always diligent and particular about his work along with safety procedures. I would highly recommend him for your projects.

We have had Connection Electric do work for us a number of times. Always a wonderful experience dealing with Abe! He is kind and professional and honest. He will do it right, and not skimp on anything. Definitely recommend.

Abe was willing to stop by when we were having a significant electrical issue when we could not get another electrician for a few weeks. This is the fourth job that I have had connection electric do and by fourth I mean four separate projects over two visits. I have found that not only is the work very good, they clean up after themselves and everything is as it should be an in order when they leave. Abe is wonderful to deal with and is a man of his word.

After I posted my original 3-star review, Abe called and came by the next day to replace the transformer that had failed a few days after his initial installation. While I was disappointed that it took nearly two months for the repair to happen, I appreciated that he followed through after seeing my review and replaced it promptly. As a result I upgraded my review to 4 star as I was happy with the overall project.

Disappointed in post-project support.

I paid $10,875 for electrical work on a kitchen addition—$3,000 over budget. Most of the overruns were things he blamed on other contractors causing him extra work. While Abe was organized and the initial installation looked fine, the follow-up has been very disappointing.

After his prep work and moving the main power supply, my office baseboard heater lost power. Instead of taking responsibility, he claimed it must have been miswired before and never offered to fix it, leaving me without heat through the winter.

Then, a week after installing the doorbell wiring, it failed. The doorbell company suggested it appeared to be a wiring installation issue, but Abe’s response was simply: “It was working when I left, not my problem.” By the way, part of the $3,000 in extra charges was for wiring the doorbell. Despite repeated requests over two months, he has refused to come back and check.

It's amazing to me, after working on my project for a year and being paid what I think is a lot of money, he couldn't make time for a short trip to double check his work.

Good workmanship means little without accountability. For that reason, I can only give 3 stars.

We were so very impressed with Abe, his son Jayden and Will as they were completely professional, respectful and had an incredible work ethic. We can now breathe much more easier knowing such a knowledgeable crew rewired our entire cabin. Thank you, again, for the wonderful work you all did.
