Tree reviews in Dorr, Michigan

Joe and his team took on a very challenging project that others declined to take on and performed flawlessly. Joe and his team were professional and took pride in their work. They completed the project efficiently and clean up very well. I would recommend them to anyone in need of tree removal. Excellent Job and Thank you again!

I have needed Shaffer Tree Service on three occasions. Each time, the work has been done extremely well and quickly. Perhaps their best attribute is that after they leave, you could not tell that they had been there, but for the removed trees/limbs. They are experts at protecting you lawn when working and cleaning up after themselves.

I had Shaffer Tree Service take down a very large Oak tree in my front yard. The level of care and precision he and his team took in getting the job done was great. They left the job site cleaner than it was before starting. I highly recommend Shaffer Tree Service and will be using them again in the future!

Excellent service. I've used Shaffer Tree Service, twice, and they provided personal service. Joe did a great job with cleanup and taken care of the tracks, etc. I highly recommend Shaffer Tree Service. Dependable and great follow through.

I can not say enough good things about the quality of work from Shaffer Tree Service. They did exactly as stated on the quote. They were efficient, on time, and cleaned up every last bit of the trees they cut down. My yard, gardens and surrounding trees were carefully worked around. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this company.

If anyone has been putting off cutting some trees down to open the yard to sun or just for an update just call and do it! I had 4 trees cut down in a matter of hours. Everyone knew exactly what needed to be done, getting around obstacles, tight fits with no problem. I'm very happy and will defiantly call them again in the future.

I called 5 tree service companies in the Wayland area. I needed a very large Walnut removed covering 3 properties.
I only got 3 responses, and one was Joe from Shaffer TS. Thank God!
The other guys were skeptical and overestimated. JOE DID NOT.
I was a little worried about the abilities of Shaffer Tree Service and thought maybe they bit off more than they could handle.
I was very wrong. Shaffer TS has the tools, crew, and experience to handle any job. They came earlier than hoped for, heavily outfitted, and worked in unison.
I spent hours searching and meeting salesman, but now I know right where to go.
Shaffer Tree Service looks like a very high dollar outfit with lots of equipment and manpower but charges mid range pricing. Best value, hands down.
I am a business owner / contractor and appreciate how Joe does business, treats customers, and gets stuff done.
I am a happy customer and will be calling Joe for a big Elm tree that's over my house and garage. I have no doubts that Shaffer TS will get it done right!

I would like to thank Joe’s tree service for the excellent work for the job he completed. I appreciate his prompt attention to a dangerous tree he referred to as a widow maker. Joe was professional, honest, and quick to respond after our area was hit hard from tornado damage. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again and would highly recommend him to anyone needing tree service. Thank you, Chris & Bonnie

We have had Joe and his team come out to our house a few times over the last few years to remove trees, grind stumps, and prune. Every time we have called Shaffer Tree Services they have given us a reasonable price, showed up when they said they would, and completed the job on time. Each time, they have done a great job cleaning the yard when they were done. Would highly recommend Shaffer Tree Service!

My family has used Shaffer tree service on several occasions. Joe is communicative, punctual, and competitively priced. His team is courteous and did a great job with both the tree removal and the clean up.

I had a huge tree from heaven cut down and it was between a shed and fence tight spot for sure. Shaffer tree service was such a cool experience joe is amazing. When they leave you can’t even tell they were there.

Excellent job by Joe and his team. Lot left clean and work was completed as expected. We enjoyed working with Shaffer Tree Service. Thank you guys. Kris and Eriks

We live on a hill, on Gun Lake.
A lot of the trimming was lakeside in precarious locations. Other work was around power lines
Joe & his crew showed up on time and addressed the project at hand.
Each crew member knew what their job was and did it. There was no standing around.
Upon completion they cleaned up to the point that you hardly knew that they'd been there, except for the improved property appearance.
We would not hesitate to recommend Shaffer TreEService, LLC to anyone who wants quality work from a professional crew.

I had two huge cotton woods near my house. They were the biggest trees in my neighborhood. It was leaning toward my house and had to come down. I paid for a complete removal, stump grinding, and cleanup. I got 5 quotes. Shaffer was not the cheapest, but when I asked if they'd match, they did. Then they did wonderful job. Didn't finish the stump grinding, but came back a couple days later and it looks like the trees were never there. Invoice was exactly what the quote was. No fees, no taxes, no other, miscellaneous nonsense! They will have my business for as long as I am in the area. Hands down excellent company to work with.
