Constraction reviews in Dutton, Michigan

We (Green Shield Deck Builders) have worked side by side with Kurt Kolenda on many deck/patio projects. Not only is his team the best in concrete professionals we've ever worked with, but the beauty and pride in the work is something you simply don't find elsewhere. If you are looking for concrete work for your HOME you can't find a better, fairer pro to get the work done right so it lasts forever. Highly recommended. 👍

Kurt, DJ and his crew did an Amazing job on our very large driveway.
The team worked hard/very professional.
Kurt was always available and quick to answer any questions.
He is someone you can trust and he is very meticulous about the end project.
I would highly recommend Kolenda Concrete.

Kurt and his team did a great job. The quote came back quickly and communication was on-going as we waited for spring weather to break. The days of the job the team showed up early and worked hard all day long to complete the project. Over the two day project the team cleaned up after themselves, washed the driveway and road, and sent pictures while I was away.

The patio turned out great! I highly recommend Kolenda Concrete for their workmanship, professionalism, and integrity.

Kurt and his crew did an absolutely wonderful job for us! We had an entirely new driveway put in as well as our front walkway. They tinted the concrete, widened the bottom of the driveway and added curbs. They were very fast moving and kept the job site very clean throughout the process. Kurt did a great job communicating with us and keeping us updated along the way. My husband and I are both extremely particular so it says a lot that we are thrilled with their work! I have also been talking to Kurt about a job at an organization I volunteer with. We aren’t quite ready to do the work, but he talked me through some of the concrete issues and helped me figure out what we need to do in the meantime until we are ready to spend money for the big project. We would most definitely use him again… As I intend to do in the spring with my volunteer project.

If your looking for a local concrete company check out Kolenda Concrete. Kurt & his team are great at what they do. Not only professional but very easy to work with. They made sure to clean up the work area everyday and keep me updated with what was going on. Fair price & a family man! Highly recommend.

We’ve worked with Kolenda Concrete on multiple projects as a subcontractor, and they have been rock solid every time. Their scope has included demolition of old foundations, pouring new foundations, and a significant amount of flatwork across several jobs.

Kurt and his team consistently do exactly what they say they’re going to do. Communication is clear, schedules are respected, and the quality of work is excellent. Pricing is always honest and fair, which is huge in this industry, and they’re extremely accommodating when projects require coordination or flexibility.

It’s hard to find concrete contractors you can truly rely on job after job — Kolenda Concrete is one of those rare companies. We trust them completely and will continue to use them on future projects without hesitation.
