Reviews of local pros in Dutton, Michigan

Kurt and team did an incredible job! Professional and personable, really appreciate a local company that follows through.

Kurt was super responsive, professional and walked us through the whole project. We got exactly what we wanted and it turned out even better than we expected!! I would highly recommend Kolenda Concrete and we will be using their services again!!

As a builder, I've had many experiences with concrete contractors. By far, the best slab I've ever seen was from Kolenda! Not only was it incredibly strong, square to within 1/8", with a beautiful finish, Kurt was extremely helpful with all the questions we had and even those we didn't know we had and the crew was clean and professional.

Kurt and his team did an amazing job on my new patio slab! They were right on time, very diligent, and left the site cleaner that I could have even asked for! I would 100% recommend you go with Kolenda for your next concrete project.

Kurt has done work for me a couple of times over the last few years, he is always quick to respond, the quotes are broke down & easy to review. The communication is always prompt & detailed. The staff/workers are kind & professional. Everything is always completed on time and as communicated. The work is always top notch and they clean up and take care of your property as though it’s their own. I will always use & recommend them for all of my concrete needs!

Kolenda Concrete recently replaced my driveway and sidewalk. My driveway is odd shaped with several radiused areas, slopes and angles. In addition, I have landscaping that buts right up to the driveway. Kurt and his crew did a fantastic job. They showed up on the day they said they would (a rarity these days) and worked long, hard days to finish the job. I watched the crew take great pains to build a durable base, protect my landscape and make the driveway as durable and attractive as they could. Kurts crew is highly skilled and quality focused. I highly recommend Kolenda Concrete.

We hired Kurt and his crew to install two new patios - one very large with a circular fire pit connected to our new deck and one smaller for a hot tub. Both turned out great and are still beautiful one year later! His crew was fabulous to work with - friendly, patient, communicated well with us, and were thoughtful about our property and clean-up. The price was also reasonable. We would highly recommend them for your needs!

I am a very picky person and have worked on new construction projects for 30 years. I hired Kolenda to pour a slab and the project expanded into two driveways, each with their own challenges regarding water drainage. Slope was perfect, drainage is perfect, quality of workmanship and attention to detail was best I have ever seen. Kurt and team were really impressive. Won't use anyone else. Price was fair

I’ve hired Kolenda concrete for a few projects around the house as well as referred him to a few others I know. Kurt and his team did a patio under my deck and a round patio out back with a fire pit. Both turned out better than expected. The team was proficient on site and went above and beyond when it came to meeting my needs. Kurt is very knowledgeable and won’t beat around the bush when it comes to what needs to be done to get the job done right. Kurt is someone you can trust and will exceed your expectations without a doubt!

Kolenda Concrete is all you need for your concrete project. We had Kurt and his crew put in an exposed aggregate patio at my home and couldn't be happier. Kurt was professional and his attention to detail was superb. We will be doing phase two next year and am already looking forward to working with Kurt again.

Phase two just completed and it looks as great as the job he did last year. Now I have a 12 x 24 and a 12 x 28 exposed aggregate patio that looks great. No wood deck areas in sight. Kurt is a great guy in charge of a great crew that does it all and cleans up when their done. Couldn't be happier. I'm just sorry that I don't have a phase three for him to do.

If I could give Kurt, DJ and the rest of the crew 10 starts I would! Worked hard and went the extra mile to help me in a bad situation. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them for anything else I need. Thanks guys, much appreciated!

Kurt and his crew did excellent job. I would recommend them, he gets his hands dirty right with his crew. No B.S.

We had a great experience with Kolenda Concrete. Out of the 3 quotes we received on our driveway project, Kurt was the only person who took time to understand the water issues around our driveway and come back with a proper solution. Kurt was easy to communicate with and his team was great with our kids - who were excited to see so many trucks.

We hired Kolenda Concrete for several concrete finishing, excavation, drainage, landscaping, and crushed Concrete projects for our home and business. Integrity and work ethic, two important traits we strive for when searching for a company to complete our projects. We found what we were looking for at Kolenda Concrete, the most trustworthy crew of the hardest workers we have ever experienced. They surpassed all of our expectations and we are so pleased with the results. If you want reliable, honest, professional crew that can handle even the most complicated job, this is the ideal company to choose! Our projects weren't easy, many complicated excavating and complex drainage issues to work through, they did it carefully and thoughtfully and planned out the perfect solutions for all of our needs.
Kurt and his crew care about the end result and answered all questions, extremely helpful, very reasonable, just an all around exceptional experience!
Thank you to Kolenda Concrete for transforming our outdoor spaces that we will enjoy for years to come! A+++

We used Kolenda to install a basketball court. The team was responsive, prompt, and professional. They cared about the quality of their work and very friendly. Would highly recommend and would use them for any future services.

We are just completing our second concrete project with Kurt and his crew. We could not be more pleased with the quality of their work, their integrity, professionalism and excellent communication skills, as well as the end product. Our first project included a side walk with change in elevation. Since our goal is to age in place, we did not want steps installed. Kurt listened and installed the perfect sidewalk.
Our current project is an addition to one of our pole barn. Once again Kurt listened to our plans, made recommendations for the correct installation and executed the plan perfectly.
As we plan for future projects, you can be assured we will be calling Kolenda Concrete. Thank you!

Kurt was great at communicating from start to finish. He takes pride in his company and his work. He took the time to listen to our needs and ensure he could give us exactly what we needed. His crew was respectful and professional and got the job done promptly. They did not disrupt business operations at all. Kurt came out to check the work the next day and ensure we were happy with the result. I would highly recommend this company and will keep them in mind for future projects!!!

Kurt was really nice to work with. Very professional and timely on his work. He did a patio for me and a 24×35 slab for my steel building. The builder said it was one of the best foundations he ever worked with so level and square. Would highly recommend.

Kurt and the team did an amazing job! We had a stamped concrete patio installed coming off our deck and it turned out great!

They were very professional and had great communication throughout the project. Definitely recommend!

We had our sidewalk and stairs replaced by Kolenda Concrete and they did an amazing job! Kurt and his crew were on time, very professional and worked very hard to complete the job. I would highly recommend Kolenda Concrete!

they did a great job. the crew worked very hard and were able to knock out this project in no time. We highly recommend Kolenda Concrete!

Here it is, a month later. We added some landscaping bricks along the edge as you see see in the latest photo we added. I absolutely love how it turned out and enjoy sitting outside with coffee.
