Now.... this happened a few weeks ago but it hit a nerve... ill keep the rating 5 stars as to not diminish your ratings. Iv never used the companys service. I DONT find it very professional to put a flyer on my car while its in the garage of MY property..... not cool... if my cars not in the road get out of my driveway... the front door or in the mail box would have been the smarter option -_-

We called Double B and Bill was there in less than an hour. Within minutes we had heat!!

I would like to share my experience with Family heating and cooling electrical. I hired them to install an EV charger for $1600. They couldn’t finish the first go due to missing screws I was not happy with the level of communication I feel like I was playing telephone between the big boss the technician and myself we’re all trying to relay Messages to one another, led to a lot of misunderstandings. Ultimately the project was over budget and behind schedule due to something as small as four missing screw screws. Also, this company demands payment upfront regardless of the job is complete or not and they also demand an extra $50 each time they come back out just a heads up for anyone looking to hire them most contractors don’t demand 100% compensation upfront before the job is even complete

Just had a furnace and air conditioner installed this week. They came out and gave me a good estimate and 5 days later they pulled out my old system and replaced it with a new Carrier system completely in one day. They were very professional and explained everything that they installed. They cleaned up very well and removed the old system without any issues. It's all about trust and professional service.

Tommy took care of our gas line to our water heater that was riddled with a white pipe dope mess. I was fearful of a leak and he took care of the issue with quality and professionalism. I appreciate the expertise and attention to detail.

I am so happy to have heat again! I was very impressed with Steve and his helper and how hard they worked all day. They laid down a paper carpet from door to the basement and were so neat and careful. They cleaned up and left the basement cleaner than it was before they came. They were so courteous and Steve explained everything to me. Plus the Price was right! I highly recommend Family Heating and Cooling!

We recently had an appointment with Family Heating, Cooling and Electrical. Cameron was our technision and he did a great job of cleaning and tuning up our furnace (also installed by Family Heating Cooling...etc about 12 years ago). FHC&E is our GO TO HVAC Company.

I recently hired Family Heating Cooling & Electrical to install & vent a range hood fan. And also a vanity light bar. They were very professional & did outstanding work. I highly recommend them.

Family did an awesome job on the installation of my new AC unit. I got three quotes for the system, and they were the most competitive. The crew arrived promptly at 9 a.m. and stayed until everything was completed, including fabricating some new duct work. When they were done, they took the time to explain everything about my new system and maintaining it properly. The work crew was super friendly and professional. Awesome job. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would.

I had two water heaters and a furnace installed by Family Heating & Cooling back in February. They sent out two separate crews on the same day. I want to highlight that one of the technicians—Nick, who handled the furnace installation—did an outstanding job. He was incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to explain maintenance tips, and was extremely polite and professional. It was clear he takes great pride in his work, and that really stood out.

However, I wasn’t as satisfied with the water heater installations. The piping was not placed symmetrically, meaning the hot and cold water lines aren’t properly parallel. This not only looks unprofessional, but also makes the setup feel awkward and visually unbalanced. Functionally it may be fine, but from an installation quality standpoint, it leaves something to be desired.

Fast forward to June—we began having issues with the AC unit. Since Family had recently installed our furnace and did a great job with that, we decided to stick with them for consistency. Unfortunately, it took two weeks just to get someone out for a basic AC service call. Once it was determined the unit needed to be replaced, the soonest appointment for an estimate is another week out—and no install date could be provided until after the estimate.

In the middle of summer, this kind of delay is tough. While the service itself has been good once the techs arrive, the long wait times make it hard to rely on them when you need timely help. Definitely disappointed in that aspect.

Did you know Family Heating installs water heaters? Family Heating has done it again! I’m a DIYER. I tried along with plumber friend to install water heater. I thought we had it done but then complications. I had to call in the pros—Family Heating. They sent one of their best Mike ( installed my furnace) and Dominic. These skilled guys are super heroes! Not only are they masters of the trade but they have great interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and genuinely care about customers concerns and questions. I love that. Anyway these guys came and installed chimney liner, copper piping, gas line, cold water shut off valve, put my tank off floor according code, pulled permits and left my place cleaner than it was when they arrived. I now have hot water and it didn’t cost me a fortune. It’s true Family will not sell you anything you don’t need. What are you waiting for? Call Family now before they close and get your appointment. Family Heating & Cooling did a great job in replacing my HVAC unit and thermostat! All the technicians were polite and respectful. I appreciate Family setting up the unit’s inspection with the township. Very thorough process!

Donovan and Brandon came out this morning on time at 8:30, just like the company said they would, and they worked nonstop and did an excellent job of putting in my central air conditioning unit. My hats off to both of these gentlemen, they did a great job and I’m so very happy. All my dealings with family heating cooling and electrical have been just great. I highly recommend the company and all their service technicians. Always satisfied with their work!
