Reviews of local pros in Gobles, Michigan

If you are looking for tree work to be done, I would highly recommend this company! The owner and his employees were very responsive and professional. They removed a large branch that fell on my shed and cut down the tree that the branch fell from. They left my yard looking better than before the storm! They worked with my insurance, were very reasonably priced and got the job done quickly.

Chris & his crew came in & did an excellent job of removing a large, white pine & some fallen large branches. Cleanup was excellent, if we didn't know better, you can't tell that they were even here. Kudos to the crew! We highly recommend this service!!

Had a sizeable tree fall down during bad storms. After calling a few places, I spoke with Chris Letts of Letts Trim Tree service who made my choice very easy. Very nice guy, great customer service, best quoted price by far. Crew was very nice and did a great job on removal and clean up. Highly recommend!

Lett's Trim Tree Service is professional, responsive and does great work! We hired them on a referral from a neighbor after a tornado came through our neighborhood, and they were not price gouging like many other companies. They also have professional equipment to ensure safety when cutting down trees and discarding of the branches and trunks. The tree that they worked on was literally over 150 feet tall, and leaning in the direction of our small ranch home. Chris took great care and slowly dismantled the tree, limb by limb, slowly and methodically, and we were never concerned for our property, safety or their safety. Lett's fair prices, professional equipment, safety practices and demeanor were the things that stood out about Lett's Trim Tree Services. Chris and his team were easy to work with and hires pleasant workers to have around our home and in our yard for the 15 hours it took to take down our gigantic maple. We would recommend them to anyone, and will definitely be hiring them in the future for any tree services needs. Thank you for all of your help, Chris & team!!!

These people are amazing. We had part of a huge maple tree blow down during the last storm. It smashed a bunch of our smaller trees and filled our whole yard with the debris. Getting a tree cut down is really expensive nowadays. At least Letts takes a bit of the pain out of it.
They had better prices and did such an awesome job. They were careful around all my remaining fruit trees, my fences and even cleaned up tree debris that was from other damaged trees. I'm totally impressed with the way they fixed my yard. They even trimmed the broken branches on my remaining apple tree.
That was above and beyond what I expected. I would recommend them to anyone needing trees cut or cleared. Fast , professional and thorough.

Fantastic and profession service. We were thrilled we decided to hire Letts Trim Tree Service. They provided excellent customer service and quality work. I highly recommend!

I love their work really clean and quick. I highly recommend them if you want it done right and clean work

Great experience. Chris and his team are a very organized operation. We had 3 trees cut down for a very reasonable price. They showed up on time with all the necessary equipment to facilitate getting the job done in a very timely fashion. Everyone worked together seamlessly like a well oiled machine and you could see the care they took in safety precautions. Also, the clean up was superb! We highly recommend this company!

Competitive prices! And a great crew that went above and beyond and cleaned up everything! They left it better than what it started! Would use them again and recommend them to anyone!

Chris and his team did an excellent job cleaning up our trees and removing several dead trees. Would recommend and use again for future work

Needed a tree removed from the Portage tornado. Did fast and clean work. Feel like price was competitive for a licensed service

An amazing guy that got the job done! Reliable, very very polite! Also reasonable prices. This is the tree guy u need!....

Chris and his professional team work together like a ballet team. They have all the equipment necessary to do an exception job and do it safely. Everyone knows their job and work flawlessly together. On time and efficient with reasonable pricing hard to expect more. The entire crew was also very respectful to our property and the cleanup was exceptional. Thought I would have a bunch of work to do after having my tree work done, but happily there wasn’t anything left to do. Very satisfied!

They did an amazing job! Everyone on their team was very nice and professional. The trees look great, insurance is happy and they thoroughly cleaned the yard afterwards and even hauled off the wood. Very satisfied and I will absolutely hire them again for any additional tree work. I will absolutely refer them to anyone I know in need of great arborists!!

Did an excellent job delivering a load of wood chips via ChipDrop exactly where I wanted them. Managed to very skillfully maneuver his truck into a challenging location with limited space and clearance. The first tree service, who I'm not going name but rhymes with gruntwhine, flaked out and cancelled after accepting the drop. I had to then create an entirely new request and forgot to re-add a tip. It wouldn't let me add one after the delivery so I figured I would leave a positive review instead.

I did get some dirt brought in to build up areas of low yard. In one place the dirt must have contained to much clay as the ground will not soak up the water. It seems to pool there and not want to disappear. I believe this should be readdressed. Otherwise great friendly and neatly done service.

Letts came out NEXT DAY, early after the ice storm in portage mi, mar 22, 2023. Gave me a fast and effective estimate to remove a large nasty ELM that broke up due to the storm, came and removed the tree and left me
The stump as directed, so I can make it a planter. Price was super fair based on other companies. Very pleased with the service.

We needed a large maple taken down due to internal tree damage and its extremely close proximity to our house. Letts provided us with a fair quote and worked with our complex schedules to get us on the books. The crew arrived promptly and did an exceptional job, especially considering they had to contend with our impossibly narrow driveway, power lines, a two-story house right next to the tree, a septic field, and various plants and fences scattered everywhere. Letts’ knowledge, care, and professionalism kept our home and family safe during the entire process and we could not be more grateful.

Highly recommend Letts to anyone needing tree work in the Van Buren County/SW Michigan area.

Letts trim came and removed a large branch over our home and did an amazing job. They cleaned up and my yard looked better than it did before they arrived. 100% recommended

Chris came in with what was hands down the best price, extremely fair for the work Not only was Chris punctual with the quote but he text me 24 hours prior to the appointment to tell me he had an opening to get the tree out of my yard a day early. Long story short the job that would have taken me probably over a week by myself was done within an hour and a half and at an extremely reasonable price. The crew was professional and they left my yard as it was before the tree had fallen. Everything went with them even the sawdust from the grinder.

I had a great experience with Letts Trim Tree Service. They were professional, responsive, and easy to work with from start to finish. The team showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and got the job done efficiently.

They removed the tree and cleaned up all the debris thoroughly—honestly, the yard looked better than before they started. Pricing was fair and transparent, with no surprises.

What really stood out was their attention to detail and respect for the property. If you’re looking for reliable and hardworking tree professionals, I would definitely recommend Letts Trim Tree Service.
