Reviews of local pros in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan

Lyons Cleaning Solutions did an excellent job on our property in Detroit. We hired them for a deep cleaning and they exceeded expectations. The attention to detail was top-tier floors, bathrooms, kitchen, everything was spotless.
Malik was professional, on time, and easy to work with. Communication was clear from start to finish.
If you’re looking for reliable and high-quality cleaning services, I highly recommend Lyons Cleaning Solutions. We will definitely be using them again.

I’ve been using this landscaping company for my bi‑weekly lawn service for the past year, and the transformation of my yard has been nothing short of remarkable. They handle everything mowing, edging, planting, and bush trimming.

Thanks to their dedication and attention to detail, my property has become one of the standouts in the neighborhood. In fact, I’m pretty sure I’ll be taking home the community beautification award soon and I owe that entirely to their hard work.

If you’re looking for a landscaping team that’s reliable, skilled, and genuinely invested in making your yard look its best, this is the company you want. Highly recommended.

Started a mulch job without my consent when requesting a quote. Josh then sent a quote for $355 for a 20x3’ mulch job and did not even dig down 3inches. Weeds and grass emerged within a week and the owner is very unprofessional in customer service, rather than correct their mistakes he will charge you for them. Overpriced, poor service, do not hire you’ll regret it.

Among their courteous, customer services and quality landscaping work, the best quality of the Alverez brothers landscaping is there edging. Their edging is very precise. In such a way to wear. My old sidewalk looks brand new. The Alvarez Brothers have changed my yard forever.! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Contacted Alvarez for mulch delivery and installation. OUTSTANDING JOB!! On time, reasonable, very friendly and fast! Not only spread the mulch, but cleaned up the flower beds before putting down the new mulch. Looked like a million dollars when they were done. Highly recommend them!!!
Thank you for a job well done! Will defiantly call them again for future work.

Alvarez Brothers Landscaping did a great job cleaning up my yard, trimming my bushes and digging up and re-sodding an old garden bed. Well worth the money for an awesome end result.

Update:

I added a star since because they really care! They reached out about our lawn and took the time to inquire about the service we received and offered to come through to clean up our lawn. You don't see that in companies anymore and that really stood out to me.

$65 + for an average mow/edge. They take about 20 minutes to do the front and the back. And they charge extra for cutting down any weeds and cleaning up debris (including overgrown grass clippings), if you want that service as well.

We've gotten text messages for their arrival time, but no one has spoken to us or came to our door, they just start the work. Their super friendly over phone and email.

We're interested in their landscaping work. They plant, mulch, line edges, and pull up weeds for a fee.

Nick did a great job on our spring clean up project. It was a lot of work and he handled it very well! Thank you!

Alvarez Brothers Landscaping did an amazing job helping me get my garden beds in order. I had completely overgrown beds filled with weeds - they were able to clear them out and put measures in place to further prevent weeds in the future. They were extremely communicative throughout the process and were thorough in their work. The estimate process was also a great experience, and they were able to answer all of my questions.

There were two young men mowing our lawn today and I asked if they could do edging in a certain area and Dominic introduced himself and took care of the area where we needed it edged. There was another young man but unfortunately I didn’t get his name . Alvarez Brothers always does a very nice job on the lawn. Thank you!

Thomas worked very hard all day weeding!!! The first time they came!!! Also, another crew came a second time: Dominic, Gabriel & Anthony did an excellent job!!! Our front yard and backyard are weed free & they trimmed all the bushes, it looks great now!!! They also planted bushes, flowers, added top soil & mulch! Thank you for all your hard work, we really appreciate it!!!

Alvarez Brothers landscaping exceeded my expectations. They were timely, professional and very thorough in removing weeds and bushes from my backyard. Very satisfied customer!

Alvarez Brothers did an awesome job! Their response and professionalism was impressive. The workers showed up early, were respectful and finished the job on time. They cleaned up the worksite. I highly recommend them in GP area!

10/10 would recommend; great communication, good price, fast service. My lawn looks great and is exactly how I asked. Nick and Dominick were super nice. Also did my lights and they were gorgeous. Really brought the Christmas spirit. :)

The lawn cutting looks wonderful. So happy you don’t use the big riding mowers. They eat up everything around them including my deck. They also throw grass into the beds. Thanks all. Patty Cappy

Super awesome team! Very responsive, and fair pricing too. We had these guys clear out some large and overgrown shrubs (including some unruly mulberries) on a large lot, and they did a great job of making the yard way more usable. I highly recommend Thomas and his crew.

Excellent work and very professional. I have used several companies in Groove Pointe area before and the Alvarez brothers are by far the best. Pricing and services rendered are outstanding. Updates status throughout project and no surprises. Again cannot say enough about their work

Thomas and Nick did an excellent job trimming trees and cleaning gutters at my mother's home. They are professional, super friendly, and have lovely manners. :o) Thomas listened carefully to my concerns and gave me good advice regarding how to trim the front yard tree. Nick was the expert at cleaning the jammed-up gutters. EVERYTHING was cleaned up perfectly before they left. I will be having them on to my home next! 5 STARS for sure!!! Debbie Trombley - St. Clair Shores

We are so happy with work that the Alvarez crew provided! Beyond the work, this team was on time or early, every one of them kind, courteous, and respectful of us and our property. They checked out with me and cleaned up the job site at the end of each day! We are already pursuing phase two projects.

I cannot say enough GOOD things!!!

Alvarez Brothers were great! They got us a quote super quick and got started on the job about a week later. Very reasonable price. They got the job done quick and did a great job! Very pleased!

I highly recommend Alvarez Brothers! What I appreciate most is their dependability! They come every week like clockwork which I have never experienced with other companies. It was always hit or miss, no communication or they would just disappear and never return. The staff is nice and I love that they are people of faith. If you need services give them a call.
