I contacted A Cut Above via their website. Ricky Hovey, owner called me that evening and did a quote the following day. They removed a large cottonwood that was difficult to access. The job was handled perfectly start to finish including cleanup. Ricky is a good communicator and they did a wonderful job. Their price was reasonable and they are professional. I highly recommend this company.

We had a very tall dead tree near the house. He responded the same day and gave me a quote. He was able to do the job within 2 days. He explained all he had to do to access the tree. I would highly recommend A Cut Above in Hart, Michigan.

The company did a great job. Very friendly and hard working crew trudging through the deep snow to complete tree removals and clean up. The price was very competitive and we couldn’t be more satisfied.

We just moved into a new home and noticed that there was a tree that was in very bad shape. We called A Cut Above and he came right out. We had a quote by the next day! They came out and trimmed the tree, took off some broken branches and the tree looks like it has had a complete makeover. Did an amazing job and left the yard clean of any debris. I would recommend this company to anyone needing tree services.

Called them for some land clearing. Was told they are busy but someone would call me back. Going on 2 weeks and haven't heard from them. Got someone else to do the job for me.

Received a quote in advance to cut down and haul away 3 pine trees. When they showed up, I verified the quote and everything sounded good. They cut down the trees, asked for the money, and said they will come back by the end of the week to pick up the trees. I even gave them a little extra money unfortunately. One month later, they aren’t responding anymore to come finish the job and I have a bigger mess than before I called them.

We had great luck the first time. The last load was junk and knotty pieces and not quartered as we requested. We still have pieces we can't use. The following year I text about wood/price and he would never reply to price. He finally text asking about wood again..still no price!! I finally text back no. Months passed and finally his wife called seeing if we needed wood. By now we were passed his rude no responses and moved on.
