I'm not sure where my review went from a year ago, but I originally asked them for an itemized estimate for two jobs, adding a 220 outlet to my garage, and adding a circuit to the attic above the garage.

The estimate they gave had both jobs completely separate, even though they were both involved running wire from the panel to the garage. I talked to them about it and they admitted the mistake and said it would be correct on the bill.

Unfortunately, I had them do the work. They billed both jobs completely separately. I called to complain, and they gave me a small discount. I still ended up paying $400/hour labor, plus materials, for one person and an assistant.

Now it's a year later, and they sent me another bill for the full amount, not acknowledging that the full amount was wrong and I ALREADY PAID IT A YEAR AGO.

Following up a few months later: The owner said they would take care of the incorrect bill, and I just received a PAST DUE notice that I had to call to get them to hopefully remove. I can't get away from this nightmare company!

Had a great experience with Haveman electric after a lightning strike damaged existing wiring throughout my house.

Benny was prompt, courteous and thorough, explaining everything as he went through the house, and completed the work in a single visit.

Marty arrived right on time and went above and beyond. We needed to be sure if wires went through wall we are having a slider door installed. He re-directed wires, replaced needed outlets, and did a little extra to fix outside lights on sensors. Great guy. Very friendly and professional. Will call again when need help with replacing ceiling fans.

How these guys have superb ratings is beyond me. I bought a new hot tub. I asked them if they could come quote me for install. They said yes and scheduled it. I was at work, but told my wife to show them where the spa is, and to show them the electrical. First, she texts me because the dude tracked mud in the house, including downstairs which is carpeted. Then he leaves without saying anything. Two days later, no email, no phone call, no quote left behind. If they didn't want to take the job, say something. Now I'm back to finding an electrician after wasted time, and I get to steam clean the carpet. Thanks for coming over just to make a mess.

We have used Haveman for various projects around our house through the years and they have always been a joy to work with. They have been generous with their time as we talked through options as well as very professional once the work is scheduled. Highly recommend

Had my new AC wired in a few weeks ago. Price was exactly as quoted. The estimator was very friendly and knowledgeable. The installers arrived right on time and got to work. I needed work done to satisfy an appraisal on a home I was selling. It was holding up three closings. I called Don at Haveman Electric. Other electricians couldn’t get out there for weeks, Don squeezed us in and they took care of the work for WELL under budget and even did more work than expected. Timing, professionalism, friendliness, knowledge, pricing…it all lined up and we were able to close all three transactions in time thanks to their responsiveness. Highly recommended

After calling so many Electric services and being without water due to an electrical problem in our breaker, no one could help us. Called Haveman an was told they were booked solid also. Within a half hour they called back and said they had someone with alittle time to come and look. Marty was here within 15 minutes and within approx a half hour we were up and running. Cannot express our appreciation for their service and willingness to help! Thank you to Haveman and Marty !!! Will definitely call them again if needed!

Terry and Mike did a very good job of repairing the electrical problems in my mobile home. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. I was very happy with their work. Also, every time I called their office I actually got a person. Other companies I called I would have to leave a message and I usually never heard back from them. I will definitely use them again.

We have used Haveman Electrical twice for medium sized jobs. Simply said, they are the best. They are responsive, quick for service and do an excellent job. Having a 70 year building there are always surprises and each challenge was addressed and managed. I cannot recommend them enough. We will be using them again in the near future.

We requested service for our 1.5 year old Generac, specifically an oil change. The technician came out and completed the work without telling us everything he did. We then received a bill for over $600 for labor, oil change and a new battery. The battery should’ve lasted 3-5 years and we were never notified by the app that it needed to be replaced. Before work was completed, we should’ve been notified what was being done, just like all other home services do prior to replacing parts. Very disappointed with this company and will not use them in the future.

Great experience, very nice people! Scheduling was quick and easy, and the two gentlemen who came to fix my repair were friendly and knowledgeable. I will be a return customer.

We had a generator installed but it was an incomplete installation. The routine mandatory biweekly test runs was never set up. Consequently the generator never ran to maintain its reliability. Haveman had no clue this occurred.

Called out for electrical repair. Invoice following repair wasn’t itemized, requested itemized invoice. Itemized invoices showed 9.5 hours, techs were on site for 4. Later told that the 140 dollars an hour is per tech, originally told 140 an hour total. Credit card was given to office to secure services and told it wasn’t going be charged, card was charged while conversing with owner on charges with invoice.
Avoid this company, poor communication and transparency in costs of service

Honest and thorough! Ben did an incredible job of explaining everything and putting our minds at ease. Super nice, super genuine and did a great job. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Very happy with the service I received today. I basically had two rooms that lost power, but it wasn't a blown breaker or a tripped GFCI so I needed help. They got me on the schedule right away, which I appreciated greatly. The electricians were very polite and professional. This kind of stuff interests me so I was probably talking too much, but they kindly answered all my silly questions. They found the issue (loose wire on an outlet) and fixed it for me. Excellent customer service from beginning to end. I'll definitely be a return customer next time an electrical issue arises.
