While there are some good sales, it's generally not super inexpensive. The quality and customer service is very good, and there is a lot of selection. We've purchased several trees here.

Roark's is under new ownership and is now called Sunny Gardens. They are open seven days a week. I stopped in today to get a load of mulch. The young man (15?) that helped me was very helpful and professional. He talked about the new ownership, some changes they were making and such while we walked over to the new location for mulch (better than the old location). He did a great job loading my truck and was very careful with the Bobcat. We liked Roark's a lot before. If today is any indication, we will like it even more under the new ownership. They changed their name and have new owners now same location though. Great selection and even better prices. The staff was also very helpful. It is rough gravel between greenhouses so strollers, walkers, wheelchairs will have a harder time navigating but I would think it is still passable for most of them

Absolutely a nursery gem! The staff are the sweetest and so helpful! Also the best prices I've seen in the area...I will drive from caledonia to shop here, hands down!

Sunny Gardens stood by their long term warranty and even recommended someone that efficiently brought the replacement tree and planted it. Highly recommended, great customer service.

We have been purchasing our landscaping needs and wants from Sunny Gardens for over two years now. Our plants and trees are thriving and enjoy the great quality and best prices in town!

Just purchased 2 heaping yards of black mulch at 3$ less a yard than any other place I checked. The employees were professional and very friendly. They worked with eachother well to get my truck filled up fast and checked out super quickly. There was a great variety of plants, flowers shrubs, and supplies. It also looks like they are planning to get even more inventory soon. The experience of shopping there was nostalgic like a trip to grandma's farm, but they do have modern amenities such as a card reader. They are also open until 7 on weekdays, which is appreciated by anyone who works until 5 or 6 and wants to have a garden too. I will definitely be returning to purchase new plants this year too.

Transcends PATHETIC! Spent thousands there this year, landscaping our EGR and Thornapple River Cascade homes. Many 40 mile round trips and a lot of associated costs to shrub and tree purchases.
Two sick bushes were returned only to be greeted by some fella, nose ring and argumentative. He literally blamed us for the dead bushes! All we asked for was swap for healthy bushes.
Well, as one might guess, our policy of 100% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION was shot down by this self-declared owner’s son, with a bull ring in his nose. His best offer was going50/50 on replacements, then his cherry on the top of this chit storm, was telling us, “WE DON’T NEED YOUR BUSINESS !” Beyond, WOW!
Well, I bought two and for $23.31 difference, this clown show has lost our business and everyone else who will be advised of this business lack of CUSTOMER CARE.
Just shop Home Depot! Better selection and they back EVERYTHING without question.
We have reached out to the registered owner 3 times. NO RESPONSE!

Wow, wow and wow! I've been making a few trips here every summer for many years, since back when it's was Roarks. They have always had good prices, and unique finds, but things used to be quite disorganized, you really had to dig to find things and find the prices and information about them. The greenhouses were also often difficult to navigate through, and had very uneven ground.

Well, last summer we noticed some changes under the new ownership with the beautiful arbor they put up, and they have definitely continued putting a lot of work into making the place great. I was in yesterday, and things are so much nicer, well organized, and signage displayed clearly. They still have great prices, and had some good deals going while we were there. The owners are also very friendly and helpful.

This will absolutely continue to be one of my favorite places to come, and I would recommend anyone to go check it out!

This place is excellent. The property is well tended. The selection of plants is great. The customer service is wonderful. We used to go to this place when it was under different ownership. We went for the great deals on the plants. But there was always a risk with what you were getting. It just didn't seem that the plants were getting the care they needed. It is totally different now. They are even open on Saturday's, which wasn't the case before. Everything is so much better and it is obvious that the plants, the property, and the customers are well served. If you haven't been here in a while, go now and be pleasantly surprised.

I love driving down to sunny gardens. They have good prices and a friendly staff. All kinds of plants trees shrubs and flowers. Its not a huge place but they always have what I’m looking for. Definitely should check them out !

This garden center is top notch! The plant material is well cared for and tidy. The garden center is beautiful laid out and easy to shop. My favourite part is the great variety of trees and shrubs in large containers, which makes them so much easier to transport as well as plant! As a local landscaper I find the owner to be very friendly and great to do business with. I will definitely continue to buy here in future and would encourage anyone else to do the same.

Sunny Gardens always has a very friendly staff and a great selection of plants and trees. We always enjoy our stops for the garden or flower bed. I would highly recommend stopping if you are looking for fruit trees, landscape trees or started vegetable plants.

Have nice looking plants but falsely advertise their prices. Had a sign for 79.99 but wanted to charge 119 instead, and then tried to tell me I switched them Maybe they should mark each tree if they don’t know how to put up signage. Very rude man in charge and did appreciate his tone.

I have been shopping here for years now! I own my own small landscaping company and this is my go-to place for shrubs, trees and hardy perennials!! LOVE THEM!
