I recently had sump exterior drainage issue. The company was quick to respond. It was suggested a high pressure line be used to clear our debris; it worked at first but then the line got stuck due to a potential broken line. We were then quoted an additional $4,149 which didn’t guarantee the problem would be fixed. We decided to seek further expertise and at that point the technician was more worried about getting his stuck equipment out then fixing our problem. The other technician tried to take care of me due to being an 11 year service member but in my opinion the owner didn’t feel the same way. It was a 2 hour minimum for which they were here 45 minutes and got their equipment stuck which prevented them from finishing the job. I understand problems happen but the response I got back from the technician was that I didn’t agree with the quote so at that point all he was worried about was when I could dig out his equipment. The company is sufficient but lacked in consideration. I rarely write reviews but feel individuals should seek further opinion before making a large investment with this company. I appreciate their work but find it difficult to recommend this company to friends and family.

I had Rob from A&J Plumbing at my house this past weekend for a leak under my sink. After he had left, my sink started leaking. After contacting customer service, they were very rude tried to pass the blame onto me. After requesting Rob to come back and fix the leak, they set up a time for him to come out and he never shows up. Waste of over $400. Do not go with this Plumbing service for any Plumbing work that you need.

Charles Alexander did an amazing job for my sister. She had accidentally lost her ring in the plumbing and he retrieved it for her. He was kind and polite and explained everything. She would recommend him to everyone. Thank you Charles for getting her ring back. You deserve a raise

On Saturday I called AJ Plumbing to have my laundry plumbing repaired. On Sunday, Rob showed up to my door with a great and welcoming attitude. Not only did he do an exceptional job on the repair, but he was very informative on additional repairs I was looking to have completed, and provided great customer service/interaction. Overall, the process of getting someone to come out on short notice to the completion of the service- to include an affordable price- was exceptional. I plan on making Rob and AJ Plumbing a long term service provider.

$507.96 for about one hour A&J plumber at my house yesterday. I feel really stupid for agreeing to that price, especially because the problem was not fixed, as today same problem. Toilet not flushing, shower not draining. Well called A&J this A.M. and asked to speak to a manager because same problem...toilet bubbles when I use shower, and it won't flush, and shower backs up. No return phone call and manager went home! 0 stars to A&J. Hope I don't have to take legal action, in any case have no toilet to use. Thanks to A&J.

Had an issue with gurgling in sink after flushing toilet. Rob & Joe came out to jet sewer drain and roof air vent. Both were very professional . I would recommend this company and will call on future plumbing problems. Company should be greatful to have 2 awesome employees.

I had a really bad leak in my crawl space and Zach came out right away and fixed it. He was reliable, knowledgeable, and gave me a good price. Before calling A and J I had several other companies come out and it was nothing but a headache. From now on this will be who I call. Thank you!!!

The toilet in our basement was backing up and within a few hours after my call, Devin was able to come out and rectify the problem. We are very grateful for the quick and effective response. Devin answered all of our questions and made sure that we were satisfied. I highly recommend them!

My father and I called on Monday morning, had a few things that needed to be fixed! They were out that day to look at our issues and gave us a estimate, our technician Charles was every knowledgeable and gave us a very responsible estimate! We called to set up the appointment before he was even out of our driveway! Charles and his co worker ( did not get his name because I was at work) came out and did the job yesterday, when I came home I noticed one of the smaller issues was not addressed ( to no fault of Charles or his coworker, I don’t believe I actually told my father about this issue)! My father called A & J’s back this morning to let them know the issue and they had Charles come out after he finished the previous job he was at, and he said no problem he could get it fixed right away he was here less then a hour! This company is speedy in their response time, they have knowledgeable and speedy technicians and they are reasonable priced! I will definitely be recommending them and their technician Charles!

Jim and John did a great job! I called for an estimate, they showed up, cleaned my drain and did not charge me. They came back the next day with their camera to show me the root cause of the issue. The issue appeared to require a more extensive repair which they promised to provide a quote for. They also gave advice on how to use an alternative to fix the issue. And guess what??? They ended up not charging me a dime for cleaning my drain the previous day. How awesome! I recommend using this company, they are very professional and I have never seen any company perform a service and not charge for it! Thanks Jim and John!

I needed a plumber for one of my rentals on a Saturday,. The tenants could not use the toilet or take a shower from a backup. I called and the lady on the phone was very nice. And the plumber. Xavier was nice as well and called and let me know everything he was doing and he was so nice and very professional! A&J is lucky to have him.
I highly recommend this plumbing company and the exceptional and professional employees they have like Xavier!

Great experience with A&J from start to finish. They kept in contact when the technician was held up at a previous job, which happens repeatedly to all busy contractors. Charles was friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with!

I would steer clear of these guys. They do only the absolute bare minimum and then try to upsell you. I called them to snake my sewer pipe. The guy used a tiny little snake and poked a couple of holes in the clogs, then told me it was gonna be $1400 to hydro jet it to clean it all the way. I declined, and he charged me $300 for this partial snake job. I've rented one of these snake machines before with a cutting head for like $70 from Home Depot. It's unacceptable that a professional plumbing service wouldn't bring a cutting head. If it needs to be hyrdo-jetted after trying to snake it, then fair enough, but at least give snaking it a proper try. I called a local plumber, and he came out with a proper snake with a cutting head. He cleaned the whole thing for $150.

I don't think the individuals here are bad people, but the whole business is predicated on upselling you. Generally when you need a plumber, you NEED a plumber. They know they can prey on you, and so they do. Just call a local plumber that you can trust.

Rob and Joe were very professional. What I appreciated the most was how thorough they were. My city drain was longer than I thought and the inside drain had an issue we didn't know about. They did their best to fix everything. My house is 100 years old. I'm sure it was tough. They had great attitudes and gave no promises they couldn't back up.

Aaron was the technician that fixed my toilet. Very friendly, courteous, and professional. He was very respectful. Answered all of my questions and finished the job quickly. I'm very happy with the price and the job that Aaron did. He answered my questions in a way that made me understand exactly what needed to be done. A & J Plumbing is the one I'll be calling for all of my plumbing needs from now on and I will be requesting Aaron. Great technician.

I can’t recommend A & J plumbing enough. They quickly came out and snaked my bathtub drain. My plumbers name was Robert Wiggle, he was so helpful and kind. He answered any questions and concerns and educated me about preventive maintenance and care. I will never use any other plumbing company besides A & J plumbing. Robert was one of the kindest and thoughtful humans I’ve encountered when dealing with trades men. I highly recommend this company and Robert as they genuinely care about their customers and their needs.

This company is quite incompetent. They tried to initially set up a shower drain for a tile. Installation incorrectly with wrong size. Also, they went ahead and tried to blame a water leak on the shower installation, which the shower was installed by myself. So they tried to give him incorrect Information. The incompetent installation of the toilet was the reason the floor was leaking.Stay away from this company

Sheldon I can’t thank him enough for what a blessing he was to have fix our sink. He checked every piece of plumbing and bolts and whatever else was even remotely close to the sink. Made sure all fittings were fastened and explained what he was doing before during and after the job. He’s definitely the right guy for the job.
