I cannot say enough about Dan Wood and the people that work there! My dad is 87 and his air conditioner died right in the middle of the COVID Pandenic and a heat wave! Knowing his age, Dan Wood did everything they could to put him at the top of the list and make sure he had a new unit ASAP and at a great price! They were professional yet friendly and made sure all of his questions were answered and got his unit installed in record time. Thank you Dan Wood family and employees, we will never go anywhere else!

Dan Wood Plumbing was able to get someone out to inspect our water leakage in the kitchen within an hour. Sam quickly diagnosed the issue and offered a temporary fix until the part arrives. Appreciated the speed to diagnose the issue and come to the house. Well done!

Adam Tassell serviced my parents home for electrical upgrades this fall and did a great job. He brought on a colleague for efficiency and they worked well together and got the job done. We especially love that we can rely on Dan Wood for plumbing, heating/cooling and electrical. So convenient to have all these professionals under one roof. Keep up the good work!

I can not say enough about this company!!! I am a service manager at an apartment complex in Roseville. We had a sewer line collapse that affected 16 residents. We needed it repaired ASAP!! The underground work was handled by another company but we needed to trace the pipe. Geoff rearranged the schedule not once but twice in the same day and four times all together to make this repair happen! If I said "JUMP", they asked "How high?" If you have any plumbing needs DO NOT hesitate to call them!

Ryan came over on a VERY cold Sunday to assess my broken furnace. He could not have been nicer! Very thorough--gave me the report and gave me advice that saved me over $200.00!! Came back the next morning as promised and fixed everything up (even changed my filter for me). Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company and serviceman.

Where do I begin. We were having our foundation fixed when the guys ran into a issue and cut our water line. Honest mistake but it left us without any water. Dan Wood was able to make and emergency call, which any plumber can do. But where they shined was their two employees. Anytime you get work done in or around your home there is a bit of tension. There is a stranger invading your space. But with these two, I wouldnt hesitate to have them back again. Not only that but they did am amazing job. If all the Dan Wood employees are like these two, I will not hesitate to use them again.

We’ve wanted to upgrade some of our lighting in our 1927 Royal Oak home for years. We finally made it a priority and found light fixtures that we love. We called Danwood for an electrician based on our neighbor’s recommendation. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Their office staff was very professional and helped me see the pros and cons of installing a new bathroom fan. Master electrician Jimmy Speelman did our job. He gave us great recommendations when he came and quoted the project. Jimmy was on time, professional and very friendly. He used all our COVID protocols. I recommend Danwood and would want Jimmy to fix any electrical problem in the future. 5 stars!

I use Dan Wood for all the plumbing and electrical repairs I don’t want to tackle myself. Had them fix a shower faucet today. Once again a very professional job. Technician Jon B was there on time and quickly fixed the problem. It was a fair and competitive cost. Can’t ask for much more.

New drain line failed 18 months after it was replaced. Company does not stand behind their work or materials. When I called to see what could be done they wanted to charge to me come out and see why their new drain failed. Their faulty work ruined the new ceiling. I was willing to give them a chance to make it right and got blown off.

On 7-4-20, my toilet overflowed. Dan Wood handles the heating, air conditioning, and plumbing at our work shop. My brother in law contacted Dan Wood and they dispatched Gregg to come to my home. Gregg contacted me promptly with his estimated arrival time, and arrived when he said he would. Once inside, Gregg diagnosed and corrected the problem. His professionalism and knowledge diffused a tense situation. This is the first time that I had Dan Wood in my home to do work, but it will not be the last time. I highly recommend Dan Wood and especially Gregg.

In 2014 Dan Wood himself came to my house to check how they could replace my very old dying steam boiler by a new one, more efficient and after a lot of research, he came up with the solution. His company install a new Steam Boiler. Since that time everything has been working very well and this week he call me himself to answer some questions I had about the all system. I only can say good things about the company and all the people who came to install my new system. Thank you Dan Wood for a great service all around.

Dan Wood is just what I needed. I had a clogged drain in my backyard and they cleared it very quickly in less than an hour and charged $185. The technician that came out was professional and knew what he was doing. I had Mr. Rooter out earlier in the summer. They were here for over an hour and did not clear the drain, complained and explained. I still had to pay $357 for the service call. From now on I will call Dan Wood

Jimmy & Jeremiah (electricians) were excellent. The quote was fair and the guys tried with great success to complete everything on our large list of tasks (changed/upgraded our electrical panel, updated almost every outlet in our 3500 sqft home, installed a series of light fixtures, and even investigated and fixed an outdoor lamp that hasn’t worked for over 20 years). The guys were very respectful each time they showed up to our home (masked and shoe coverings, cleaning up there worksites). It was a big job and it took 3 visits. Over the series of visits, we came to know Jimmy & Jeremiah and they earned our trust. They did a great job and we were pleased with the results. We will call on Danwood’s services again, and we will request Jimmy and/or Jeremiah for future electrical work. We also recently had plumbing work done by Danwood plumber, Martin. He too was professional and personable, earned our trust, and has subsequently completed other work that was needed. Danwood’s techs appear to be honest and trustworthy. I really appreciate that they don’t try to upsell us any additional parts or system accessories. They do what you ask and give useful information about the work they’re doing.

Recently had Dan Wood Plumbing out for some service work in my master bathroom. The technician was on time, friendly, clean, and resolved my issue. I will definitely being using these guys for any future fixes in my house and would definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

Had a Corro-Protec Anode Rod installed for my Bradford White Water Heater. The service was excellent. Punctual, friendly, professional. Will use Dan Wood for any future plumbing needs.

The only reason I used this company again was that my hot water heater was installed by them and it failed under the warranty. The hot water heater was installed properly but the plumber from Danwood decided to change up my recirculation line configuration which lead to air blocks-pockets in line that could not be blown out. Danwood decided not to fix so I didn't have proper water temperatures in faucets due to air block/pockets. They told me it was not air block/pockets but I then hired a master plumber to come out and check their work. He said it's for sure air blocks. Danwood came back to the home and told me to go through and change all my cartridges in each faucet and that it was not their issue that after they changed the hot water heater. Also 3 plumbers from Danwood said the issues was faucets. I then hired the master plumber at an additional expense to fix their work and instantly I now have hot water! (I did find out the Novi City Inspector told them he agreed with the air block issue and Danwood said they are done with their install and thats the permit they pulled) they installed the hot water heater correctly but not the recirculation line which the City Permit pulled was for the Hot Water Heater only.... so on a technicality they pulled off the job doing the bare minimum and customer service and satisfaction was not first! The only reason I didn't give them 1 star is the office staff (Denise) was seemingly great. I'm in real estate and know a bit more about mechanicals --- don't hire a company that only does the bare minimum even it the results are bad they won't fix it! I now have hot water due to another company finishing their work to be satisfactory! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I needed a new sump pump. I got an appointment the same day. I got a call to notify me of their expected arrival and they were on time. Jonathon and Albert were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient and corrected a seriously flawed system installed by the previous licensed plumbers. Completely happy and will use them as my plumbers in the future.

This company really saved my skin. The city of Wixom gave me a ridiculous deadline to review something that wasn't even a problem. This company made every effort to fit me in their schedule. The worker who arrived was professional and by the book. He wanted the job done right. I only hired this company because their reviews were much better than other companies. I'm sure glad I did that. Their communication is the best part though. The office staff is VERY friendly and extremely responsive. I'm recommending them to everyone!

Highly recommend. These guys are the real deal. We had a rather complicated job, tearing out a boiler from a location that was not to code as well as a water heater in a different location, replacing with a boiler/tankless water heater combi unit in a third location. Also had some electrical work done. So we needed HVAC, plumbing, and electrical and these guys did it all. I had gotten over 10 quotes from different places and this company had the best plan and I felt most confident choosing them over all the others. I was not disappointed. They all knew exactly what they were doing and got the job done when they said they would. It wasn't cheap, but the price was reasonable considering all that had to be done. 100% glad I chose them. I have had bad experiences with various contractors and plumbers, so it's great to have someone I can trust for future projects. I will definitely be hiring them again.
