When 1/2 our power went out with no circuits tripped, I asked a friend if she knew a good electrician. Jeff came out the next morning and identified and fixed the problem quickly. And the charge for services was fair. Thank you Jeff!

Great people. I called for advice for a small issue and explained that I work in the electrical industry but am not an electrician. The electrician I spoke to gave me a few tips that I could try to safely narrow down the issue and was able to find out what was wrong and fix it. Based on how knowledgeable and polite the electrician I spoke to was; they're the only people I would've called to come out if I couldn't have figured it out.

It's rare when people offer advice instead of just pushing to have someone come out and charge you. I'll keep these guys in mind if I ever have a serious problem.

Dan and his team were great to work with, very professional and reply to communications in a very timely manner.

EPD is a highly qualified electrical contractor. I've worked with John and Mike and both of them are first class, professionals. I would not hesitate to highly recommend them!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. My husband called and made an appointment for 9:00am and no one showed up. They didn't call or send a message to let him know what was going on. When he attempted to call them there was no answer and their voicemail was full. Very poor customer service. He had to call another company and they came out to our house within a couple of hours. We were able to get the work done for less and with shorter notice.

Paul was very friendly and fair. He found out the issue and solve it fast. I wanted to give him 5 stars, but reduced 1 star because there was delay. Other than that I am thankful of him.

We have done business with CGE in the past and have referred many customers to him over the year and I can honestly say they all enjoyed Paul and his team very much and felt he was very fair with prices and more importantly has kept up with the times and technology along the way to make sure everything we could possibly want was available to us. I used CGE Electric to put a 220 line in my basement studio for a new kiln i received. The owner came out right away and took his time explaining to me about the line and venting. While inspecting the house inside and outside in order to best place the elictric and venting he pointed out that some of my outside wires were frayed and were an extreme hazard. I so appreciated that extra diligence and attention to detail that might have saved me from a dangerous situation.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, DO NOT USE THEM.
Called Paul at CGE mid December, i recently purchased a home that he has been servicing for the original owner for years. I told him that there is a Generator on Site that is not working that i need to get running to clear city inspection. Paul asked me to send him an email to remind him. This cycle took place for 4 weeks and him not getting back to me. I called him today to confirm that he is receiving my emails and he told me he's too busy and i can call someone else and hung up on me.

Do not waist your time or money with these guys.

To hire CGE is to let burglars into your home. These inconsiderate contractors had absolutely no respect for my home when performing their duties. They didn't cover up any surfaces. They left the home a mess and they damaged several of my personal belongings while "fixing" the circuitry in my apartment. NEVER invite these goons into your home!

Last August CGE installed a Generac unit for us. We have lost our power several time since then, we are thrilled with the generator. We had an excellent crew install the unit and were very pleased with the service. Yesterday we got up to no power and the generator was running. Everyone around us had power so my first thought was the generator had malfunctioned. I called Paul he was at our house within the hour to check out the unit. The problem was not our unit, an under ground electrical line was broken.

CGE came to my house last year after the power went out in half of the upper level of my house. Not only did they come out the same day to investigate the problem, when Paul arrived, he put protective covers/booties on his work shoes to walk through my home - without even asking him to do so. Paul discovered the issue in less than 15 minutes and corrected the wiring that brought power back to my upstairs level. And in addition to all of that, the charges were extremely reasonable. I would trust CGE to do work for me any time in the future.
