I was going to ask for a business card from the guys doing work at the Canton McDonald's on Haggerty Road until I saw how unprofessional they are. I was exiting the McDonald's when an obese worker on a mower pulled in front of a vehicle attempting to head to the exit. The person on the mower saw the car coming and didn't care. The person in the car raised their hands as if to say what the hell. Then the true professionalism came out! The guy on the mower turned around and followed the car saying he was going to knock the driver out! Your worker was in the wrong the whole time, but wanted to assault someone on top of it! I know it doesn't take high intellect to mow a lawn, but hire people with manners. I did have to laugh when the driver of the car said you look hungry go get a big mac or two!

Waited a week for an estimate (since they told us they only do estimates on Wednesdays). Wednesday rolls around and 'nada, so I contacted them again.

"I'm sorry. I thought I replied. We are booked right now and not doing estimates. Sorry for the confusion". Judy

Hey Judy, why didn't you tell me this a week ago when we set this up???

DON'T trust this amateur company.

Top notch service and great people. Judy and Chris went out of their way to help me get the right gravel and sand I needed to build my patio and even met me a little late after they closed to help me get sand at the last minute on a Saturday. Really great people, couldn't recommend them enough and the prices were as good or better than the other landscape places I found.

Maybe don’t flip people off after running a stop sign in a truck with your company name on it.

If you cut grass like you drive I wouldn’t hire you to water a lake.

Topsoil was pure Sand.
I called Green Butlers to inform them about dirt I purchased less than a week ago.
After heavy rain, I was very disappointed.
The topsoil has more sand than dirt.
I called Green Butler's to express my concerns and the receptionist was everything but professional.
I hate for a person to make me out to be a liar especially over some dirt but if paid $70 for dirt I expect more dirt than sand.
I even asked if someone could come to take a look or to send some pictures.
She told me could send pictures but there would be no resolution, so why waste my time sensing the pictures?
I was recommended to Green Butler's by another company, this was a nightmare.

Thank you to The Green Butlers crew who done an awesome job on the fall cleanup today! Despite being cold and some snow on the ground these guys were out there going their thing!! Thank you once again and I greatly appreciate your well job done!!! And also thanks to the summer crew who done our lawn grass cuts every month you guys done an awesome job and I appreciate all the work every one done!!

I'm a commercial client. Green Butler has never let me down. Their employees are always courteous. I'm astounded by the Spring clean up they did they did this year. It's the best I've seen. Thank you for your hard work.

Their policies have changed this year, i am sure they are struggling with finding adequate help.

Spring cleanup this year was not as meticulous as last year. I give them ☆☆☆

They changed the policy to not mow when there is too much dog waste. While understanble they missed an opportunity to upsale a service. I now pay a service to come twice a week to cleanup dog waste. If by chance there is 1 dog waste in the yard the lawn person will mow around it leaving overgrown grass i give them ☆

The policy was changed to include 4 cuts on a monthly charge but they can skip a week if the grass does not need it. Some grass does grow slower than others. This normally would be acceptable although this year i find myself calling to see if i am even on the list to get cut thats how long they wait sometimes. While i do understand they are short handed i give them ☆☆

The very last time my yard was cut i noticed my castle wall had been knocked over. While i cannot confirm it was them it is highly suspicious after i noticed the guy on the riding mower cutting my grass
And then my flower bed wall in the middle was knocked over alost from the bottom i will give them ☆☆ as i have not contacted them about this issue yet.

I liked this companies service for the most part last year and i like the fall cleanup, specifically because they hall away the yard bags or leaves. I will give them ☆☆☆☆☆ for fall cleanup just based on last year.

There are many missed opportunities to up sell, but when they get back on track with staffing they may be open to feedback. At this point i am retaining the service so that i can show a local business ample patience during this difficult time.

Had my first leaf clean up! They did a great job! I am hoping they will keep this consistency through the fall season.

They do an okay job, always room for improvement though.

In response to the owners question.

Yard cleanup, and mowing twice a month. My grass does not really grow too much, so i did not see it as a big deal, but there were several times where they only mowed spots in the backyard leaving some grass longer than the other. They also mistakenly stepped on a gutter, but i cannot prove this was your guys. Again these things are not a huge deal to me. I will be happy to improve my rating as the company improves its services. I am looking forward to seeing how you guys do for fall cleanup.

Top notch Crews; Excellent work! Couldnt ask for a better team of guys. Jim/Nick are easy too work with. Dont hesitate too use them for any of your Landscaping, Concrete, and Asphalt needs. They can do it all!

Had a great experience with everyone involved. Needed a large hill leveled out in our backyard. They came out and quoted the job. Got the quote back in the time frame they said. I also made some slight changes to the project the day of and they accommodated us perfectly. Got the whole job done in two hours. Did everything we asked. Cleaned up and confirmed we were satisfied before they left.

This company services my neighbor. Lately I've noticed them blowing lawn debris up into my yard. Not a biggie, until today. They blew all of the leaves into the road, then proceeded to start to blow them across the street and into my yard. I started taking a video, and when they saw me in the window, they laughed and started pointing their phones at me. Then they ran the blower down the sidewalk in front of my house (across the street from their client), and blew all my leaves into the street, which means I'll most likely get fined by the township.

I'm a disabled senior, on a fixed income, so cannot afford to hire companies to remove the leaves from my yard. I have to struggle to do this on my own. It's sad to see a company such as this, hire such lazy and inconsiderate employees, who feel it's appropriate to shirk the duties of the job they're being paid for, and force it onto the neighbors.

I've had the Green Butlers doing regular weekly cutting and fall cleanup work at my home for the last 5 years.
They've done very good work and remained reliable and consistent.

I've had experience with several local landscaping firms in and around the area over the last 20 years. None have been as good as The Green Butlers.

I do not recommend this company for lawn maintenance. They are inconsistent and the tone in some of their communication to me, as a new customer was dismissive and unprofessional.

I had been living at my residence for 6 years, I was very familiar with what the lawn needed. I requested a Spring cleanup as I knew I needed one, their team said I didn’t need one and claimed they would clean the debris as they serviced my lawn-but never did. The fertilization and grass cutting was decent-but the edging was not consistent (not every other visit as they said), debris was always left in my driveway and along my fence line and inconsistently removed. On a few occasions, the lady in the office was helpful, but overall-I should not have to keep contacting her regarding basic stuff not being done to my yard. Fall cleanup was supposed to take two visits, they came for the first one, but never came for the second, although I paid for that service in advance, many many leaves, sticks, were left behind. When I reached out via email and called regarding fall cleanup-no one responded.

Both the spring and fall cleanup is vital, and should be done with care, thoroughly and properly. It’s a tough spot to be in when you hire someone to take care of something at your home and it’s not done properly or at all.

I do not appreciate that unprofessional behavior. We hire them and trust them to keep up their end. Their team failed at my home with that, therefore I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company.

I called multiple landscaping companies to price out new sod and sprinklers for my home in Dearborn. Green Butler’s was the only company that returned my calls and came out for a quote. They were fair and honest and super friendly to work with. Nick, Mitch and all of the other guys that came out were awesome !!! The girls in the office for billing and setting up sprinkler winterization and fertilizing are great to work with as well. I would recommend their services to anyone !!! Lawn looks great and Mitch just came out and turned on the sprinklers for the year !!!
