Drainage reviews in Roseville, Michigan

I can only give praise and gratitude towards Rob and his team! I was having a flooding issue in my backyard and now it is all gone!! Rob and his team did all the work in a very timely manner, cleaned after themselves and were very communicative during the process. Highly recommend to anyone looking to install a French drain!

We recently purchased a home with buried downspouts that lacked cleaning access, were clogged with mud, and flooding in our yard. Rob came out to give us an estimate on a draining solution. He was armed with his laser level and took his time to explain his process and plan for our specific project. He was easy to reach and stayed in contact with us as we dealt with the uncertainty of spring weather. Rob’s crew arrived prepared with all the equipment they needed and Rob was on site and worked along side his crew the entire time. They protected our driveway with plywood and were considerate of our fencing and existing plantings. They were extremely kind, polite, professional and worked diligently. The process was incredibly impressive and sod removal and replacement was seamlessly executed. Due to the attention to detail and use high quality materials, we feel confident that we won’t have yard flooding in the future. We absolutely recommend Stumpf’s Outdoor Services and would happily work with them again in the future.

Stumpf's did an excellent job on installing my french drain on my property and I would recommend them. They were friendly, professional, and thorough. I worked directly with Rob and he was able to complete a thorough estimate and job with the highest quality. The entire team was friendly and professional. I had concerns with my city and if what our plans were to do was legal, and he was able to connect with the city and put my concerns at ease. Originally, I thought I only needed to have a French drain for my sump pump, but after discussing my issues it was recommend to also include another drain for my backyard as I have drainage issues, so the work was completed the proper way and fixed issues on my entire property and not just the one issue I thought I had. When the work was completed it was like they were never there, meaning they did a detailed clean up and didn't leave a mess.

I can’t recommend Stumpf's Outdoor Services enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Their lawn mowing service has completely transformed my yard. The team is punctual, professional, and takes great care in making sure my lawn looks pristine. They’re meticulous about trimming edges and cleaning up afterward, which I really appreciate. My lawn has never looked better!

When winter arrives, their snow removal service is just as impressive. They are quick to respond after each snowfall, ensuring my driveway and sidewalks are clear and safe. I love that I can trust them to handle everything without me having to lift a finger!

Overall, Stumpf's Outdoor Services provides exceptional service year-round. If you’re looking for a reliable company for both lawn mowing and snow removal, look no further!

Stumpf's Outdoor Services really helped us out after the recent storm. I reached out yesterday morning to ask about residential snow removal, they answered all my questions and fit me in to their busy day. They made it to Roseville, Michigan midday and cleared my walkways, driveway, and porches. Stumpf's Outdoor Services did an absolutely amazing job. It was such a nice thing to come home from work and not worry about the snow or slipping in my driveway.

I hired Stumpf’s Outdoor services to install a French drain system with external sump pump on my home in Clawson, MI.

I purchased the house in the summer of 2023, but found out that I regularly had standing water in my back yard in the spring/fall due to old city infrastructure and heavy clay soil. I called every company I could find to fix the problem, and stumbled upon Stumpf’s from a neighbor recommendation.

Rob and his crew at Stumf’s Outdoor service were by far the most knowledgeable and qualified folks for the job. Rob showed up a day after I called for an estimate, and I was impressed by his professionalism and knowledge of water drainage.

There was great communication leading up the job, and their crew did a great job with logistics and cleanup. My backyard has not had standing water since the installation, and the sump pump has worked flawlessly through the winter.

If you have drainage problems around your house, especially in Metro Detroit//Royal Oak/Clawson, these guys are the best in the area.

I first contracted with Stumpf’s 6 years ago as I had flooding in my backyard and along the side of my house. Rob and his crew installed French drains. The drains work very well.

I also requested easy maintenance landscaping but had no idea what that may entail, so I told Rob he could do whatever he wanted. Rob brought in flagstone, cobblestone, plants, and a Japanese Maple tree. The results were stunning! I still get compliments on his work to this day.

More recently, I simply needed top soil, sod and tree trimming services. I called Stumpf’s and Rob and his crew took care of that for me as well.

For homeowners in Roseville, Michigan and the surrounding areas, I highly recommend Stumpf’s Outdoor Services for your lawn maintenance and landscaping needs.

I will certainly call them again the next time I need any work done. Friendly crew, reasonable prices, efficient service.

We had Stumpf's freshen up our mulch beds & spring cleanup for the new growing season. The efforts the crew put forth was excellent. This was all accomplished was in one morning!! It usually takes me a week to do this. Great effort Stumf's!! Top notch!!

I'm very pleased with french drain system that was installed by Rob and his crew. Prior to the installation, Rob was very detailed in his evaluation of my needs. His estimated time to begin the project was honest. When the day came, his crew arrived on time and made provisions to be respectful of my landscape. Rob kept me informed throughout the process. He and his crew were hardworking and efficient while making sure all the correct slopes were being maintained. They kept the area tidy and when they were finished, cleaned up after themselves. Stump's Outdoor Services has a very satisfied customer.

Darren and Blake came out to do work in my yard and did an excellent job. There were a bunch of extra little things they didn't need to do that should make my life easier and they explained their process each step of the way. The result looks great and I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for any kind of landscaping work in the future.

I recently had a French drain put in my backyard, in Saint Clair Shores, due to excessive standing water. I was so impressed with the service rendered that I would recommend them to all!! The quality of work was excellent, their professionalism was great and the clean up was much appreciated!!! I even received a text after we had 2 days of heavy rain to see if all was ok! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!

I hired them for a sump pump discharge installation and grading on my house. I am happy with the job they did; the crew was professional and answered all my questions.

I will be hiring Stumpf's Outdoor Services in St. Claire Shores for more grading and a French drain installed in the future.

Thank you to Rob for giving me advice about changing the pitch on my gutters to help with the water on the sidewalk issue.

Stumpf’s did a wonderful job installing our French drain. So happy to no longer have leaks in my basement. The crew were the nicest guys and were a joy to work with. They explained what was being done, were careful so as not to damage the lawn and cleaned up so well you could not tell there was work done. I highly recommend Stumpf’s for your draining issues.

Stumpf’s Outdoor Services just installed a French drain in my neighbors yard in St. Clair Shores. We share the same side yard. The team was very professional and respectful of my yard and driveway. They were clean and organized. The job is done and you can’t really even tell that they were all over my yard with heavy machinery and multiple men in boots. I am not really one to post reviews but it was well done!

Stumpf’s owner, Rob, identified the problem and gave the solution. From a dreaded water filled yard to dry and clean for my dogs and granddaughter to use and play safely. I would give 10 ⭐️ if I could.

Ive had flooding in my yard for as long as I can remember. I had a french drain installed, as well as underground downspouts. It looks like they were never here. Stumpf's outdoor services put my yard back together and it looks great. We had a big rainfall in Troy MI recently and I didn't have the problem with the flooding. Rob is very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend them.

Stumpf's Outdoor Services is a great company. They did a great job. I wanted 2 of the bushes brought down a little more. They came all the way back and took care of it. They did not leave until I was happy. Excellent Service and a fair price. I will call them a gain in Fall or Spring. You should too:)

I contacted Stumpfs to handle the installation of a French drain for my Saint Clair Shores backyard. Like many here in the city any big rain would ultimately leave my yard flooded for days. The team worked to build a drain all the way out away from the property and the improvement has been dramatic. Before I would have a small pond approximately 55’ long and 25’ wide as much as 10” deep in spots after large rains, since the drain I have 0 standing water at all. Top notch work, very happy with the results.

I've been waiting for a downpour since my drains were installed. Tonight it poured and no backyard flood! Not even a puddle. Professional crew - did a great job in every way. Hire Stumpf's. Before pics attached.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Robert and Stumpf's Outdoor Services, and I can't speak highly enough of the experience.

From start to finish, the process was thorough and efficient. Robert and his team took the time to explain everything in detail, answering all of my questions and ensuring I understood each step of the process, in regards to the installation of French Drain, curtain drains, underground downspouts with pop up emitters.

It was clear that he was knowledgeable and passionate about providing the best service. The entire appointment went smoothly, and I was impressed by how quickly everything was handled without compromising quality. I highly recommend Robert and Stumpf's Outdoor Services for their exceptional customer service and expertise.

I live in beautiful St. Clair Shores, MI which borders Lake St. Clair. Like many residents, I experience extreme backyard flooding during very heavy rains. I knew I needed a French Drain Installation with Underground Downspouts. I was very nervous about this big undertaking. Although the City of St. Clair Shores highly recommended Stumpf's Outdoor Services, I felt I needed a few more estimates just for comparisons. After receiving a total of five different companies coming out to my home, I went with Rob at Stumpf's. I am happy to say I know I made the right choice. The team and crew from Stumpf's installed four French Drains in a matter of two days. They were professional, hardworking and extremely neat. The foreman Kyle took the time to explain each step and heled me understand exactly how the system worked. I highly recommend Stumpf's for any outside work. I look forward to having them now landscape my home and service my lawn.
