I spoke to Marquita on September 20th, ans she put me on the gold plan and told me I had to be on it for 90 days before I can have someone come look at my appliances. Come to find out she put me on 2 separate plans charging me 2 times for my plan!!! When I called to make a payment, I paid the one on my account then they transferred me to appliance service plan so I can schedule for someone to come look at my furnace well they wouldn’t schedule it until the “second account” for the service plan was paid, when I just paid the one on my account!!! Why did they register me for 2 accounts?! No one knows!! Today I had another tech come look at my furnace, tells me there is a crack on the heat exchanger meaning CARBON MONOXIDE!!!! He never told me he’s shutting off the heat and he never told me it was carbon monoxide!!! Then This evening realized the house is cold, look at the thermostat and it’s 65 called them and they told me the tech shut it off, that’s fine, now we get to my plan and the girl is telling me there is a mistake on my plan she took my number and said she will call me back, she never called back, I called again they tell me she left for the day!!! Now I ask to speak to a supervisor took for ever to connect, then it goes to cell phone voicemail, so the supervisor calls me and let me tell you how unprofessional and didn’t even care about the consumer AT ALL!!! Pamela the supervisor should not at all by any means be working in customer service appliance service plan or any supervisor job!! She now is stating my plan doesn’t kick in until the 6th and she can’t do anything about it!! She also said the only mistake they made was the representative put me on a gold plan in the beginning which she shouldn’t have because I have to be on the basic plan for 90 days before upgrading to the gold!!! No one ever told me that because I was under the impression Marquita put me on the gold plan, then she said they canceled my gold plan because i wasn’t supposed to be on it, and NO ONE EVER TOLD ME THAT!!! Come to find out Marquita is a new employee at that time back in September!!! Pamela the supervisor wouldn’t even tell me her supervisors name!! I have been back and forth with them for the past 2 weeks trying to fix the problem
With the 2 accounts since they tried to get another 107.00 out of me!!! So at this point I have to replace my heat on my own and my “Gold” plan kicks in on February 6th!!! Why did they schedule a tech to come out before the 6th If my gold plan kicks in on the 6th!!!! Disgusted with this company and a rip off plan!!!! Will never refer this to anyone!!!

I have never dealt with appliance repair companies before but when my dishwasher broke down I had to. These guys were the only once who could come the next day so I hired them. I am happy with the worked they did and what they charged me.

Terrible customer service. Didn't want to repair my refrigerator after 8 years of paying them. They pay the contractors they send out a terrible rate like half of what they should to make a profit. Stay FAR away from this company. Also the customer representative scolded me like I was a scammer & her supervisor had an attitude with me the moment I reported the rude. Customer service representative. Used to be a good company but last 2 years they've been all about profit & not the customer.

First call I made was May 18th for someone to repair my washer and my refrigerator. Within a few hours a repairman was here and ordered the parts needed. Once my parts came in I was to call to get someone out here to fix both. I have called now three times and each time I'm reassured I'll be called within 24 hours to set an appointment. I have not yet received a call. I've had this service for over a year. Today will be my 4th attempt to get an appointment. Very discouraged and disappointed. Especially when they try to upsell my service plan and I can't even get someone here to fix my appliances.

I've been on this plan for years! When I went to have my fridge serviced..they tell me I don't have coverage because the fridge has to be in your kitchen! Funny, because they've serviced this refridge twice before and even replaced it! Now there's no coverage?! After talking to a supervisor..then waiting 3 days to get a call back from another supervisor..they still won't fix my fridge..all they would do is give me a month of free coverage! Free coverage?! Just fix my refridge, that I've paid for! Sending emails to higher ups...it's ridiculous! They used to be a good plan!

I have never had an appliance repair plan. My first time purchasing one was from consumers in December. I bought all new appliances a couple years ago. New stove, fridge, dishwasher, furnace, and water heater. I had my dryer go out last year and of course it was out of warranty. I fortunately was able to fix it myself and didn't cost much. After that I had been contemplating purchasing consumers service plan. Well they had a special on their service plan at the end of last year so I decided to purchase it. Well my dishwasher went out last month. They basically said we aren't fixing the dishwasher and you'll have to buy a new one. Remind you my dishwasher is only a couple years old. So I went to cancel that day but they said I needed to wait till the service provider charges go through. So today I call to cancel and they're like well you have to pay for the service call. So I paid for 6 months and got nothing from it since I still had to service call. Never again!

They talked me into signing up for the appliance plan without telling me I needed the “upgraded plan” to cover my boiler at my house because boilers are not covered by the basic plan. So I paid $20 a month for years just to have my boiler not be covered when it had issues. Had to pay $900 out of pocket.

Awful service provider. Had ASP through Consumers Energy for over 6 years. Never used it once, must have spent over $5K over this time, and once I needed them to replace my water heater, they wanted an additional $500+ for labor only. Stop fundraising this useless company and save your money. It will cost a lot less if you called the technician yourself.

I had an issue with my dishwasher, they sent a technician out and he stayed for 30 minutes, did not let the dishwasher complete before leaving and the problem still remained. Called the tech back he said maybe I needed a new dishwasher. The service plan sent another repair company, they found the issue, repaired it however the problem still remained but not as bad as it was before the repair. I have been a customer for 3 years; when speaking to the service plan and was told because I upgraded to gold they could not see me in the system and that I would have to wait until my upgrade. My dishwasher was already covered. I felt dismissed in getting this matter resolved and until I asked for a supervisor they wanted to attempt to resolve the matter.

I have an “account” with ASP / Oncourse through my utility company for the appliance protection plan. With that, I recently attempted to make a claim for my broken furnace. Each time I spoke to a representative, they claimed they could not help me due to an active balance on my account. I called my utility company to have them then tell me there is “No active balance and there is no reason Oncourse should be asking me for money over the phone”. After hearing that, I called back to Oncourse AGAIN to schedule someone to fix my furnace. On that call the next representative said the same thing about an active balance to where I responded “there is a note on my account made by Consumers Energy that there is no active balance.” I was then told they will schedule someone to come out the next morning from a heat and AC company to repair my furnace. The following morning, I waited from 8-12 (the scheduled window for the appointment) to which no one arrived. I called the heat and AC company directly and they told me “Oncourse never sent a claim to them and therefore no one was scheduled” thankful for the heat and AC company, they came out anyways to make the repair. All of this to say ASP / Oncourse has made false claims on having an active balance and then say and confirm to me that someone is scheduled, but then did NOT send anyone.

I do not write reviews like this as I understand things happen. This is unacceptable and absolutely unreal that this is the level of “customer service” I received. Poor customer service, poor communication, poor knowledge and poor execution on their end.

I wish my utility company would go through another vendor for this service.

I would give -5 stars if I could.
