Reviews of local pros in Southgate, Michigan

Chris done a excellent job cleaning out our creek area highly recommend him great price too

Not a good experience. Took upfront money dropped the trees and left a mess i had to clean up, this seems to be the pattern of the last reviews. Only visible piece of equipment is a chain saw.

Chris was very professional and he beat every estimate by 25%. The job was cleaned up very well. I'm happy i saved 500$ and the job was very dangerous and no one got hurt.

Good guy and great work ethic
Very happy with the work

Very quick to respond with a reasonable quote got it done the next day and referred me to a stump removal company.. did a great job and cleaned up everything very nice. Thanks for the great service.

Chris came out and removed tree parts from a few trees DTE cut down in our backyard.
What would of took us a few hours took then 15 minutes.
I would definitely recommend.
Thanks again

Told me since I had a veteran in the family they would do it for free. I couldn’t believe it. Asked them free? Said yes. Then said they contract out stump removal which would be about 400. Came back with a bid of 3000. What? This is a tree I could cut by myself. Just really needed stump removal. Said oh you thought I said this I meant this. Would love to know anyone cutting a tree down that is out in the open for 3000. SMH. These reviews must be staged. No review over a year. Use a reliable tree removal service. All for if your starting a business and would probably pay more to help you out but 2000 more. And to say they would do it for free for veterans. Sounds suspicious. Don’t waste your time. And when he gave me the bid he knew I wasn’t going to take it. Was quick to leave. Playing the veterans card

Amazing customer service! Excellent price, quality work and communication!

Fast service for a great price and clean up. Quick response with great customer service.
The real G’s! Thank you!

Chris along with his young partner cut down a Red Maple for my mother in her backyard this past weekend. They worked very hard and transported all wood, branches and cleaned up her backyard with no mess on the ground . All this was performed during our first 4” snow storm of the year. Chris is indeed a very personal person and had always showed concern of my requests. I would highly recommend his services and love that he is a local to provide his Outstanding service. You won’t be disappointed give him a call quote is free.

These guys did extensive trimming on a tree in my back yard today. I was quoted very fair price, they were able to schedule it quickly, showed up on time, did a great job, and the clean up was impeccable. I recommend them to anyone !!!!

Very fair price for a very big tree trimming job. They were on time, did a great job trimming the tree and clean up was impeccable. Would definitely use again and have already recommended to several others.

In march 2023 I hired Chris to trim a tree for me in the process one of the limbs fell on my fence damaging one panel. He told me then that he had ordered it from Lowe’s. Waited a while text him. He then told me that Lowe’s ordered the wrong color. Waited a while. Text him again. He didn’t informed me that he was on vacation and he did have the panel and he would do it when he got back, well that was the last time I heard from him and here it is a year later March 2024. I am a senior citizen living on a limited income. I can’t believe that he would treat someone that way I would never hire him to do work for me again and I can’t believe all the reviews that are good that he has gotten so just to let everyone know, be careful if you deal with this guy

Prompt, professional, courteous and VERY REASONABLY PRICED! Was the first to come provide a quote and was one of the most reasonable. Chris was very personable and understanding in my queries. He and his team were all business, cleaned up when done and worked as a well oiled machine. Even when my neighbors approached home for future work, he handled it all in such a courteous and professional manner. I’ve already told him I’ll be reaching out for more work next spring! You won’t be disappointed with this service provider.

Due to recent storms one of the large trees in my yard was blown over and through a referral from my neighbor, I contracted with Chris G's Tree Service to cut the remaining tree down and clean up the fallen debris from the storm. Chris and his crew came and completed the job in one day. They were all hard working, professional and a pleasure to deal with. Everything was done safely and Chris provided the service at a reasonable price. It is definitely worth making a call to Chris G's Tree Service if you are looking for a professional tree service at a fair price.
