Landscaping reviews in Sparta, Michigan

I live at York Creek and the driver clearing snow did a wonderful job in front of building 4176! Thanks for hiring great people...

Excellent work on removing weeds and application of mulch. I would gladly use again. My yard looks so much better!

For some reason three years in a row, they cannot take directions if you want it done right don’t call them .. Even can’t get it right with clear markers ..

Great company, service great and they make it very clear what they can do and what should be required to have a great yard. They give me a number things they can accommodate me with and I picked what was right for me, and my pocket book.

I've tried a few lawn care companies, and Alternative is by far the best. They consistently make my lawn look excellent and never damage my grass (unlike other companies).

Alternative Lawncare checks all the boxes. Good quality, on time services, friendly, responsive and professional. My lawn always looks best on the block! Thank you - TJL

We lost a tree in the recent windstorm. These guys came right out and had it cleaned up and stump removed extremely fast. Would definitely recommend them to others!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE HORRIBLE! UNPROFESSIONABLE, LACK KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND ARE VERY RUDE! THE OWNER HAS VERY LITTLE KNOWLEDGE OF KNOWING HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS LET ALONE HOW TO MANAGE HIS EMPLOYEES! PLEASE FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY TO USE OTHER ALTERNATIVE LAWN CARE TO DO YOUR LAWN AND PLOWING!

I would rate this company a negative 5 star if i could. Very un professional, if and when they do damage to your yard or house they will not take responsibility for what they did. Very poor customer service also.

Love when these guys show up to the Brooke meadow apartments in grandville and completely cover my car in dirt and grass, most disrespectful lawn care company I have ever come across.

They do a great job here and the workers are pleasant and will do what you ask. I needed the side yard shorter and they did it for me. It looks so much better, thanks a bunch!

We have used Alternative for several projects at home. Their work is professional and impeccable. Great staff, very responsive, and amazing value!

Highly recommend for lawn care, mosquito control, and seasonal clean up! Have used them for over 3 years and very happy with their service.

Unsatisfactory mowing. Unprofessional cut missing spots and lines in grass cut crooked. Canceled service and still got billed for another mow. Definitely not a happy customer. I recommend using a different lawn care.

Alternative installed stone around our home and in two areas in our front yard. The guys were very polite with my requested changes and accommodated with no problem.

Great work! Had them do a fall clean up at my parents house and the place has never looked so great. It as professional and affordable. I would recommend this to anyone with lots of leaves and other yard debris.

Alternative installed a drainage for me in my back yard. I was told they would return the following day to put seed and top soil down. I looked later in the evening and it was completed the same day. I would highly recommend.

So very happy with Dusty Martin at alternative lawn care. Professional crew, Dusty and his crew listened to my needs for my front yard landscaping and came through big time. Definitely 5 star service and will no doubt be referring my friends and family to alternative lawn care. Thanks again for the great job.

Last year I used them but they mowed to fast and dug up the dirt around a tree. Later in the season they used dull blades and the lawn looked terrible. But the worst was them cutting down flowers with the weed wacker. I alerted them. Put steaks around the flowers and they still cut them down.

This year I switched companies, invested in new plants, put stakes all around just to protect them at the property line. But since my neighbor also contracted with them they did it again. No return communication, no apology, no offer to resolve. Small claims is my only option.

Worst communication of any lawn care company I've used.

Great service. A tree problem (2 dead) unresolved since April was solved in less than 2 weeks in late July by Dustin Martin, landscape supervisor for Alternative LawnCare. Great recommendation on 3 new trees that the skilled team installed within days. Also replaced new bushes from last year that never quite made it.
