Had a wonderful experience with Ronald who came out promptly and handled everything very professionally. He made sure he was thorough with explanation, and was respectful with making sure everything was done correct, and cleaned up after as well. I will definitely be using them again for anything I need in the future. Well done Ronald and Residential Electric team!

First, the estimate: Danny asked for a photo of our pool heater model number and I gave it to him and let him know it was 100% electric. He gave me a quote for $2250 to power of pump and heater. and he was 3 weeks out. The day of the work, he said he didn't realize it was 100% electric and that it was going to cost $350 more. We paid it but, that was shady. I really liked Nick. He's a really personable guy. But, he made mistakes. He cut our buried coax so, we were without cable for 3 days and paid $150 to have it replaced. I mentioned that to Danny and he said he wouldn't reimburse us. Nick drilled a hole too high on our filter basket. Danny plugged it with putty...on our brand new $10,000 pool. For an extra $350, Nick installed 2 outlets in our patio. They worked for a couple weeks until the GFCI kept tripping. Again I contacted Danny. He said he could come look at it in 3 weeks (when summer is over). He said I could open it myself without voiding warranty. So, I swapped the GFCI and it still tripped, Then, I moved the patio furniture to view the other outlet. That's when I noticed what Nick did to our brick. A large chunk behind the receptacle was blasted out. Also, nothing was sealed on the top or back so there was standing water inside and rust after only a couple weeks. I mentioned all this to Danny. He told me they don't replace brick. I asked why he didn't drill into the mortar joint and he told me it's because the drill bits bind up in the joints. So instead, I guess it's better to destroy my brick? Evidently, they care more about a $20 drill bit than the customer having to pay hundreds of dollars to repair the home that they damaged. He said he'd let Nick know he should be sealing up his work. He said he'd reinstall the receptacle after I replace the brick. Why am I having to repair what they damaged? No accountability. No offer to come seal it up right away. Just a carefully worded brush off over the phone. No, I'm not happy with them. The pool did pass inspection so, I'll give a star for that.
