Remodeler reviews in St Clair Shores, Michigan

We recently used Modern Tile & Renovation for our master bathroom remodel and were very pleased with the results. Modern Tile provided a detailed cost summary and timeline for the project up front and followed the plan from start to finish. The workers were timely, skilled and always cleaned up after each days work. I would recommend them to anyone interested in having a home remodel project done.

I used Modern Tile and Renovation to make my walk in shower. They did a great job. They were always on time, and cleaned up at the end of everyday. I would definitely recommend them.

Modern tile had recently completely redone my master bathroom. Bob and his team were amazing throughout every step of the process- from the initial design to completion. I highly recommend!

Bob and his entire crew have done an excellent job on several projects at our home. From installation of an attic staircase, ½ bath remodel, new kitchen floor, and a “to the studs” full primary bathroom remodel, each task was done with an incredibly high degree of professionalism and craftsmanship. The job site is also left neat and tidy at the end of each workday, a big plus in my book. The team’s dedication and quality of workmanship is unmatched. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks to their great crew, starting with the owners who mapped out a tight production schedule and made it happen on time and under budget.

They took great care to keep our home clean while work on the kitchen was being done. They communicated the plan for the day, week and month letting us know who would be there and when. Their quality and workmanship were spectacular and they had excellent follow up with any small issues we had.

They typically have a long list of scheduled jobs and I waited four months from signing the contract to start of the project but it was well worth the wait. If you're lucky enough to get on their schedule, do it!

They did a fantastic job installing my new tile floor in the kitchen and laundry room.

I just had my kitchen remodeled by Modern Tile and Renovation. As you can see, I posted two "before" pictures along with several pictures of my spectacular new kitchen. The difference is amazing! I wish I could take better pictures. The photos here really don’t do it justice. Initially, I hired an unskilled contractor who left my kitchen in shambles. My kitchen was damaged so badly that it had to be rebuilt. I was left to search for a new contractor, and Modern Tile and Renovation gave me the best estimate. I am very happy I hired them. The company is upscale and professional. Their workers are extremely polite and accommodating. They will go the extra mile to make everything look beautiful. They are an exceptional group of guys who are hardworking and timely. If they are scheduled to be at your home at 8:00 am, you can expect them to be sitting in your driveway at 7:59. I am very pleased with my kitchen and can't rave about this company enough. I want to give them a huge thank you! If anyone is looking for a fantastic company who will make their home look beautiful; definitely call Modern Tile and Renovation!!

Can not recommend this company enough. They went above and beyond throughout our entire project . They created my dream bathroom in about 2 weeks that is including a full down to studs demo. They took the time with the tile work and made sure I was informed every step of the way. I will be using them in the future for other upgrades in our home.

Bob and the entire team were great to work with from start to finish. They designed for the space we had and turned our basement from storage mess to extra usable square footage for our family.

Modern Tile did an awesome job for us. The job was completed on time and on budget. The team is courteous, on time, and professional. I would recommend Modern Tile to anyone looking for a new bathroom.

Modern Tile and Renovation did an amazing job transforming my outdated bath into a spa-like space. Professional, timely, and quality run company. I highly recommend them for renovations.

Bob Hoover and his entire team at Modern Tile and Renovation, did an outstanding job remodeling our basement. They gutted it and brought it back to life! They followed their timeline without deviation and I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. I would highly recommend this company!

After a beautiful bathroom renovation several years ago we had Bob’s crew back for a kitchen remodel.
Bob’s crew is exceptional in their work. The guys are all punctual, respectful and I felt very comfortable with them in our home. Bob’s head carpenter, Scott, was great to work with and very thorough.

Modern Tile does an amazing job with any project. They completed 2 bathroom renovations for us, plus a laundry room, and some smaller window detail work. The entire team is respectful, pays attention to detail, and goes above and beyond. They are my go to! I am picky with details and find these guys are worth every penny. Every time I step into my shower I feel like I am stepping into a nice hotel shower. I sigh with relaxation and just smile. :)

Two full baths remodeled by Modern Tile and very happy! High quality, great at their craftmanship, hard-working, and very professional. Bob is very organized, great communicator, and makes the process of picking out the materials simple. I have also had a couple smaller projects of kitchen backsplash and tile in powder room. All projects were completed on time.

Overall very good experience from the very detailed quote to the consistent communication throughout. The crew were on schedule and left the work site clean. Any issues were dealt with promptly and professionally. Very happy with our main bathroom renovation.

Bob and his team are the best ! Craftsmanship is second to none ! Modern Tile remodeled my bathroom and installed stone above my fireplace and foyer. Highly recommend and will use them again for any future projects!

Modern Tile and Renovation remodeled multiple rooms in my home: Master Suite Bathroom, Guest Suite Bathroom, Kitchen, Powder Room and Laundry Room. They gutted and replaced tile and countertops, refinished hardwood floors, updated plumbing and fixtures, update electrical, repaired drywall and painted interior rooms. Their work was excellent. Their staff professional and highly skilled. They were always on time, executed the work exactly as agreed upon, cleaned up at the end of each day and made sure to properly protect non-work areas. Bob and his team were wonderful to work with and I fully intend to use them again in the future.

I would highly recommend Modern Tile and Renovation LLC. They remodeled 3 bathrooms and tiled an entrance way for us. They were here when they said they were going to be here. They did what they said they would do. Every team member was courteous and professional. They respected my home and cleaned up after them selves. Truly a great company and I would highly recommend them. Look forward to having them remodel my kitchen.

Modern Tile and Renovations LLC did a fantastic job with construction of our additional bathroom. The workmanship was outstanding and the scheduled calendar for various trades seriously helpful in keeping us all in sync. Communications were good. Friends and family admire the finished product each time they see it. We highly recommend this company for your renovation needs. We have more ideas to update and will call on Modern Tile and Renovation first and foremost!

We decided to have our main bathroom upstairs remodeled, and Bob Hoover was recommended to us. I'm so glad we made that decision! Our bathroom project was a total gut job. We wanted to remove the tub and replace it with a stand up shower with a bench seat. We also had the soffit removed which gave it a taller, sleeker look. They did the tilework, flooring, drywall, plumbing/fixtures, cabinet installation, quartz counter top, sinks, fan, electrical/lighting, mirrors, shower door, and a new toilet. It looks like a brand new bathroom. Bob and his crew are the BEST! They are professional, punctual, friendly, and neat. All of their work is top notch (especially the tile work, I'm obsessed)!! Everything came out so nice, I can't say enough about how pleased we are with the finished product! I would highly recommend Bob Hoover for home remodeling projects, you won't be disappointed. I look forward to working with him again in the future.
