These folks...
My power went out in late December because a tree fell. The power company was unhelpful, so I had to figure it out myself. Due to many storm-related issues in the area, I had to call multiple electricians to find one who could restore my power in a reasonable timeframe. Most companies, Brooks Electric among them, either said they would do their best to address it at some point, or simply could not. The day before the fix, Brooks initially said they would be out, but later postponed until the following day. Around noon the following day, I received communication from them. They were at my home, and apparently another company had already come out that morning and fixed the issue. Somebody beat them to it 🤷So what did they do? Tried to bill me $200. At no time did I agree, verbally or otherwise, to any charges. My power was out for a full week, while my children were visiting, and I had to spend a good deal of the time driving back and forth from Grand Rapids to see if anything had actually been fixed. So now they're sending me monthly bills, with late fees. Good business practice...just bill people indiscriminately. I guess either they pay, or you can write it off as a loss. I'll tell you one thing: I regularly check my credit report, and this would be the first late payment / collection on my record. YOU WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH THIS. Also, I'm having some more electrical work done this spring...guess who I won't be calling.

Greg and Randy did a great job! It was the evening and was supposed to be a quick fix which it wasn't at all. They took the time and figured it out until the job was done right. They will be my first call for any other electrical issues.
