Been going there for over 10 years now great group of guys ...they close at 5 pm i was in a traffic jam i called and told them i was on my way and the owner himself stayed after all his employees left for the day and kept the doors open for me and just so you know they deal with hundreds of contractors a day so i was very impressed with his kindnes his name is Jack and he is obe of the owners ....great bunch of guys ......

I have used this organization in the past, and there were very professional, courteous, and did an amazing job. Great leader ship.

Just needed some clipped tree branches chipped. I thought it would be at least 30 minutes of work and the guys that came out did it all in less than ten minutes. I have a tree that needs to be removed. I will be calling back for their professional and speedy service.

I was looking for an experienced arborist. After researching some companies I called JH Hart.
Warren came out and gave me the information I needed for my dying trees… at least I thought some were dying.
The people at JH Hart are very knowledgeable at what they do and the price was right. Appreciate all your help and expert information!!

This company is a great place to dump. While dumping here can be pricy, it can be well-worth it because Hart accepts large mixed loads of logs, branches, and chips mixed together, which can save time and effort.

I would highly recommend the team from J H Hart, they are responsive, knowledgeable and very good at what they do! This is 2nd time in 4 years I have used them and will continue to use and recommend!

I saw their trucks about a half mile away from my house and contacted them for a quote only to be told that they don't service my area.

My "area" is in Detroit just south of 8 mile but I guess they don't do "urban forestry" since they only stick to the suburbs.

Maybe they should change their name to JH Hart Suburban Forestry??

Anyway, kind of a racist thing to not come south of 8 mile. Do not recommend if you live in an area that actually has diversity.

We have been using J H Hart for over 25 years.They have always been
a professional and responsive company. Last night we had horrific winds that took down a a fairly large tree limb in our backyard. I called J H Hart and within a few hours a crew showed up to clear the debris as well as trim the broken limb. One cannot ask for better service. Thank you J H Hart for the great service and fast response time.

J. H. Hart Urban Forestry removed 33 mature dead ashes and elms that had died during the previous 5 years from insect problems, and on a steep 30' high hill, no easy task, and with hundreds of buckthorns surrounding them.
They did an excellent job engineering this difficult job and came in under their estimate, which was moderate to begin with. We used them again several years later for removing two mature dying horse chestnuts, and again, had great respect for their professionalism and good natured staff and fair price.

This company is excellent! The city of Royal Osk actually hired them to remove a tree on our easement. They came out quick, removed the tree and cleaned everything up. And then weeks later when I called to ask about when the stump would be removed THEY followed up with the city and made it happen the next morning!

We had a really awful experience with the company - simply in the quoting process. Warren DeWitt came out to quote and we pointed out specific large branches we want removed - in addition to pruning large trees. Warren refused to acknowledge/answer about the large branches we pointed out and decided it best to mansplain and repeatedly ignore our request to reference which large branches they would take out. We are not arborists - this is why we called one to quote doing this work. J.H. Hart made this very easy for us to go elsewhere with our business. I would not recommend calling them to even quote let alone handle any work.

The crew we had was terrific. They were all very polite and professional, and the work was excellent! We will use them again in the future and would highly recommend this company!

My neighbor and I both had work done by this company on the same day. Tyler and his crew did an excellent job and brought all the equipment necessary to handle the work.

Just had JH Hart out to remove a huge shrub line and ground all the stumps and remove a 30 foot arborvitae at my mom's house. She said, after working in customer service for forty years, she was more than impressed with the quality of work, the professionalism of the workers and mostly, the care that went into the work. They cleaned up after the job and she is so glad she called them!!

Well worth the wait. It took about 4 weeks for them to come out, but they did a fantastic job at a reasonable cost. Three men and a lift came out and trimmed 5 of our old trees. They men were cordial and professional. They were so brave to go to the tops of the trees and they didn't miss any of the deadwood. They went above and beyond all our expectations. They expertly distinguished between the healthy and sick limbs on the trees. They raised the canopy on trees in the front yard making our property more aesthetically pleasing while helping to improve the life of the trees. They did not damage any existing landscaping and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. We used a costly competitor for over 16 years, but from now on we will use JH Hart.I'm I would highly recommend them.

I cut some branches from my neighbors tree hanging over my fence in my back yard. I called J.H. Hart to get rid of them. I dragged them to the street on the scheduled day and they took care of the rest with their chipper. Great job at a great price. Highly recommend!

Jh hart was fantastic to work with! They had done the city work when we were at our old house so called them for a quote when we moved to west bloomfield. James came out to do our quote and pointed out that one of the trees (closest to the house) was dying so we ended up having them take that one down before the disease spread to the other tree, and trimmed up 4 other trees. They were booked out a bit but were so communicative, professional, and reasonably priced. They did a fantastic job and we’ll definitely use them again in the future!
