We are a management company that has used Grounds and Gardens to service a lot of the Associations we manage. They do exceptional lawn/landscape work along with snow removal. Justin is our main contact, and it is a pleasure working with him; he is very communicative and quick to handle any issues along with helping make the best recommendations for the Associations. We appreciate all the hard work the entire Grounds and Gardens team does for us!

George has taken care of our trees for 37 years. When we bought our property George Lee carefully inspected the trees and decided which trees were health and how to thin out the thickly treed lot. I am very happy to say our trees look amazing and healthy.
He has cabled our birch trees to help with stability, and our oak to make sure it does not fall on the house.
They recently took two full days trimming all of the trees on our property to get ready for my sons garden wedding.
Also their mosquito control program is awesome. We can enjoy our evenings without pesky mosquitos.
We are particular about who works on our property, and George Lee and Branch tree are the best.

From the estimate (Brad)to the completion of the job(Max), I was soooo impressed with their professionalism. There were 3 more employees that helped in some way. I did not get their names, but they are awesome too.
Definitely will Recommend them to anyone who asks.... -
We had A HUGE tree removed by branch tree this week. When we first scheduled they were so booked up we were on a two month waiting list. (Which was fine) They arrived as scheduled and took care in covering our lawn with plywood to drive on with the heavy equipment trucks. They cleaned up, raked and blew off our patio and even out front of any debris. Afterwards we received a call that they were talkinga couple hundred dollars off because they had to saw two planks in our fence and the ground driving in did sink quite a bite. They stated they would come out in spring to fix it. We did not call them. They called us about it. THAT'S very good business. They care. And they did a great job on our tree.

So grateful for the tree consultation we got from certified arborist Jeromy Lee at Branch tree service! He came the same day we called, assessed issues we are having with a few trees and recommended a range of options …most of which we could do ourselves. No sales pitch, no trying to up-sell us into expensive solutions. Just down to earth, practical and professional advice. As a result of this experience, we will continue to use them in the future and refer friends and family to them! I have learned that good care of our existing trees is much preferable to costly removal and replacement. Thank you Jeromy!

Edit and reasoning for the lowering of our rating:
About 16 months after we had 13 trees planted, 5 of them died. Jeromy had come to look at them at the ~1 year mark and they were all very healthy and happy. Around 14 months, 4 of them started to brown (Jeromy responded to my text with photos saying he believed it was 'just seasonal discoloration'), and within 45 days of that they were dead. Jeromy and his arborist were not able to figure out why this had happened--it was not root rot, lack of watering, disease or anything else they could surmise other than the "trees didn't like the environment". All 4 trees were of the same variety, making us believe they just weren't suitable to our yard. Disappointing, particularly because we were just a few months out from the 1 year warranty. We then spent a couple thousand more dollars to have 4 trees (different species) replanted in their place. Jeromy did waive the haul-away fee for the dead trees, but did not discount or help us in any other way with the replacements ones. To add insult to injury, the new trees cost nearly $200 more per tree than our original trees did.
Within another 3 months, a 5th tree died as well. This one almost frustrated me more than the initial 4 as the arborist and Jeromy saw the tree when it was just starting to brown, took cuttings from it to inspect, and gave us their word that it would not get any worse. When I asked for a discount or compensation for the tree I was denied.
I understand that plants are living things and sometimes stuff happens outside of realm of normalcy, however 38% of the trees they planted for us died within 18 months and to me that is unacceptable. I personally feel that some sort of discount or compensation should have been administered, especially since we agreed to pay once again to have new trees planted.
I believe that the species that Jeromy gave us was not one that should have been planted in our yard (the other 8 trees were 2 other species and have been thriving) and the lack of accountability they've taken for that is disappointing.
In all fairness to Jeromy and his team, they have been kind, responsive and professional in all of our interactions. I would like to believe we were equally kind and never treated Jeromy or his team with anything but respect. That said, it's hard for us to overlook the thousands of dollars we feel we wasted through no fault of our own. In my mind, the very least Jeromy could have done was matched the original tree pricing for the replacements. This is why I've lowered my rating from 5 to 2 stars.
Original Review:
We had two wonderful interactions with Jeromy. He was incredibly knowledgable, took in consideration our options and budget and set us up with a plan to plant trees and excavate some of our property "in the fall".
We signed the contract in August and it took quite a bit of leg work on my end to hear back about when the job was actually going to take place this fall. This lack of communication is the only issue I had working with Branch Tree Service.
This week, we had someone come out to treat our Elm and a crew bring our trees for planting and excavated the area of our yard we agreed to. The job was done extremely quickly and professionally. I would recommend Branch Tree Service for your tree needs, they are truly experienced and know what they’re doing. We will be happy to work with them again in the future. -
We were given a quote to remove a large tree. A few months later I called to see if it was still good and to schedule the service. I gave branch $1100, verified the quote, and was told they would get back with me. After 5 weeks, and many phone calls on my part, Jeromy called.
To have the tree removed I was going to have to pay 20% more than the quote. Jeromy said it’s because the “cost of everything has gone up”. I explained that he should have let me know that five weeks ago when I gave him the down payment and he sent me a contract.
It felt like a bait and switch, that’s no way to do business. -
Branch Tree trimmed several very large and smaller trees on my property. They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous and made sure we were happy with their service. I will definitely use them for my future tree trimming and disease prevention services.

Tyis, Tre and Harold did an awesome job with the removal of my pine trees and trimming of my other trees. They were very professional and cleaned up my backyard well before they left. Branch Tree is your company!

We have used the professionals at Branch Tree for at least 10 years. They have been invaluable in getting our yard to look its best. From trimming out dead branches, to root injections, to spraying for diseases they have saved more trees in our yard than I could have dreamed. They don't water down treatments to save a buck. I am a small business owner and I know you get what you pay for. Branch Tree is a honest company that explains what needs to be done and delivers. Thanks for a decade of wonderful service!

I hired Branch to do an injection in the spring on my Elm tree (it had a bug issue the year prior). Well we had ice storms and the tree was damaged. It is situated on my property line and my neighbors were gung ho to just take the tree out (despite agreeing previously to an injection to try to save the tree). I called Branch and explained my situation and they told me it was no problem and refunded me the amount I prepaid for the injection. Great customer service and they will be the company I call in the future.

Our house is next to a pond and, accordingly, we are subject to lots of mosquitoes. That is - until we started using Branch Tree to spray for them! While we are a 35+ year customer of Branch Tree, we only found out late last year that they offered mosquito spray service. We signed up for this season and had hardly any mosquitoes or biting flies. To George Lee and his fantastic team: thanks for making our summer outside a huge success. Branch Tree is the BEST!!
August, 2023 update: We were out of town for the past two weeks and Max and the team at Branch Tree needed to really trim up some Hornbeams, magnolias, red buds, and surrounding bushes. Well...we just got back and things look spectacular! Max is truly an artist when he trims and neighbors have already commented on how things look. Great job Max and team! -
I had concerns about a tree in my yard that was shedding some pretty big limbs. I wanted to get someone out to take a look, but I also wanted to do everything I could to save the tree, as it's very large and beautiful. I called Branch, and they sent an ISA-certified arborist - not just someone who was going to tell me how much it would cost to chop it down. The arborist who came out told me that it was normal for that species of tree to shed branches, but that, because of its age, it could do with some pruning. He also took a look at the other trees in my yard and told me a couple had issues with pests. Long story short, they pruned the big tree (something I definitely couldn't do myself, because the lowest branches are about 25 feet up), treated the others that had pest issues, and did so in a timely, professional, and affordable way.
I especially appreciate this due to the big winter storms we've had recently - while the rest of my block looks like a tornado rolled through, my yard is comparatively neat and tidy.
Great company. Highly recommended. -
TY. Matt, Marty and Kenny showed up on time today to remove two trees and several limbs on other trees. They were very processional and courteous. Since the arborist I have used for years retired, it has been difficult to fine a good tree service. I will for sure use the guys again.

Randy and Kenny from Branch came out to remove a huge fallen willow limb and when they started to remove it they found another huge limb had fallen but was only being held up by they branches of a nearby maple. They were quick and professional in addressing it with me and figured out a new plan on the spot. They were careful not to damage my shed, playset, chairs, or fence and were able to get everything down by the end of the day. Highly recommend.

We have been using Branch Tree for years. They go over and above to get the job done to our satisfaction. Their crew are friendly and helpful! We are glad to have a tree service we can count on.

This is not the first time I’ve used this company. I’m a return customer because of the excellent service I received previously. My experiences continue to be excellent and include shrubbery sprays, stumping a tree we lost in a storm and planing a new tree in its place. The crew built a ramp to get the equipment in the area without damaging any surrounding landscape. After the work was completed, you would never know work was done as they clean up so throughly. I’m so grateful for their work and expertise!
