Matt was very helpful in answering all of my questions and gave very helpful tips on things I could easily do myself. I appreciated that he was honest that our bathroom ceiling fan didn't need to be repaired at all and gave me tips on how to clean/remove the cover instead. He was quick and efficient in repairing our kitchen outlet. Definitely will be calling him for any of our future electrical needs!

HUGE shout-out to Matt Baker at Baker Electric (see photo for contact info). I hired Matt to do some electrical work at my house. Let me tell you, he explained everything to me in terms that I could understand. Also, he told me multiple options that I could do with a MAJOR electrical issue in my home. One of the main reasons that I hired an electrician is because I had outlets that would spark when I tried to use them and I had a hallway light that would work intermittently. For the hallway light, Matt replaced one of the switches and it was fine for a couple of days and started working intermittently again. I messaged Matt and he came right back out. He replaced the other hallway switch and then said, "You have the wrong kind of light bulbs in there." I was honestly thinking, "What? A lightbulb is a lightbulb." So not true! After my Electrical 101 lesson from Matt, I learned that some bulbs are rated for enclosed light fixtures and some are not. Who knew? Sure enough, the bulbs I had purchased at Menards were not rated for enclose fixtures (see pic for example). He said with the old incandescent bulbs it didn't matter but with LED bulbs it does. I NEVER knew that! The bulb package actually says what it's rated for. So gateful for the info! Thanks Matt! You rock!

I had Matt come out for an overall inspection at a clients house/workspace, knowing they needed updates. He was very knowledgeable and understanding to give them a plan to move forward. It was a big job and it was very helpful to get a plan for the future.
