REFUSED to do warranty work on the shingles he put on our home! Says it wasn't his responsibility. HE WAS THE ONE THAT BOUGHT AND INSTALLED THE SHINGLES!!! Very shady company!

Paul's response is yet another dodge to get away from not doing the work he promised us to be done. Again, HE is the contractor. HE is the one that bought the shingles. HE is the one that installed them. It is not our fault he chose bad shingles. These were sold as 30+ year shingles. Any reasonable person would expect the warranty work to be done by the contractor that did the original work. Imagine having two different contractors having done the work on the same roof, and something else goes wrong! Who would we get help from?? They could each blame the other and we would be out our 4,850 dollars! It makes sense that a good and ethical business would of course do the work as well. He is not doing it. He is refusing.
All he needs to do to make it right is to do the work.

Paul was wonderful. Extremely responsive and very knowledgeable. Also very honest. We ended up not needing any immediate work done based on his inspection, but the minute we do I'll be calling him to do the job.

The workmanship and customer service of Timberland Exteriors is first-rate. From the very first interaction, I was treated with respect, professionalism, and kindness. Their work is superior, and their team members are conscientious, proficient, and amiable. I cannot recommend them enough.

I talked to Paul on the phone about a hole in my rubber roofing. He came out after work hours and met with me to discuss my options. He didn't push his service, and actually told me that I would be better off making the repairs on my own. He was extremely helpful even when he wasn't guaranteed any business from me. I will be calling Paul and Timberland with any roofing issues in the future.

Timberland did an excellent job with my James Hardie siding remodel. Paul gave me excellent tips to make the job look the best. I would highly recommend them for to complete your project.

My fiancee and I have had bad luck with home repairs. And when I say bad luck, I've neared litigation with one in-town company for plumbing and had horrendous experiences with several more. There is no shortage of hacks willing to take advantage of your lack of expertise, do terrible work and hand you an overpriced bill.

Timberland Exteriors is *not* one of those companies.

After last year's hail damage, we were eligible under our homeowner's insurance for new siding and roofing. Unfortunately, I'm simply not a handy guy...I'm talented in a lot of areas, but when it comes to the industrial arts, I'm as dumb as they come. In addition, I'm on the younger side, and this was my first homeowner's insurance claim, which was a little scary. Insurance companies don't get to film fancy commercials by overservicing you on your claims.

My neighbor pulled me aside and told me that Paul did a wonderful job on their home. We saw that the company was rated well from others, so we gave him a call.

All throughout the process, Paul and Timberland were awesome to work with. Paul was able to work around both my and my fiancee's busy schedules to meet us. He was thorough in presenting options, but did not simply puke thousands of choices to us and walk away. .

Perhaps more importantly, Paul was extremely sensitive to our budget needs (I've got a wedding to pay for) and helped devise smart strategies that would enable us to get the most for our money out of the claim while staying within a cap that I felt we couldn't exceed. There were no pressure tactics; no guilt applied. We simply worked together to pick out options for roofing and siding that both of us were happy with.

Paul was also extremely knowledgable about the insurance claim process and helped walk us through the varying steps. In the instances that the insurance company squawked, Paul was able to deal with them on my behalf and get them to fulfill their end of the bargain. In my case, that enabled getting *three* different inspections from my insurance company in order to get the compensatory amount he felt we deserved. The extra money Paul was able to obtain almost paid for any premium his services commanded alone.

Finally, when it was time to complete the work, Paul and his team were prompt, efficient, courteous and did quality work. They were flexible and sensitive to our busy schedules.

I guess I'm not conceivably sure what else I could ask for from a contractor that I didn't get from Paul and Timberland Exteriors -- and again, I'd like to emphasize that I was fully prepared for him to screw me over like half of the home repair professionals in this town seem to do every day.

I can only assume that anybody who has a poor experience with Paul was the subject of an aberration - a statistical anomaly. It happens to the best of people.

I'll be calling Paul if I need further remodeling needs. If you do too, based on my experience, you won't regret it.

We just finished our home renovation and the exterior was last to be completed. It has put the finishing touches on our new home. It looks so amazing! The crew was meticulous and exactly what we were looking for since it was such a huge project. We've gotten tons of compliments. I definitely recommend Timberland Exteriors, you will not be disappointed!

I called Timberland exteriors to replace my patio door. They were very reasonably priced and did great work. They guys the did the work were friendly and great at what they were doing. I will recommend them to everyone looking to have work done. I will be calling them when it's time for my next project.

HOLY SMOKES!!! We had our house resided with James Hardie and it turned out fantastic. They finished 3 or 4 weeks ago and my wife still goes outside just to look at it. Actually I look at it a lot too. Timberland exceeded our expectations and we are really glad we did this. The guys on the crew were really nice too and let me tell you, they are artists. You can tell they take pride in their work and they pay attention to detail. Even the caulking looks great. Its all just really top notch.

There are plenty of companies out there that do siding and it can be hard to know who to go with. We don't reside our houses every day, it is an investment, and it's easy to wonder if you made the right choice. Well I can tell you this is one of the best investments we made in our house and choosing Timberland was absolutely the right choice. These folks are the real deal. Timberland will certainly get more business from us. Thank You Timberland. It has been a pleasure.

2 months ago I posted a negative review about Timberland Exteriors. They had done an extensive residing, reroofing project for my 110 year old. Paul Trautman, the owner had some great ideas about restoring the house to a more original condition then the aluminum siding the house had when I purchased it. His ideas were great, his color selections were super. The workman ship was excellent, but the painting job was not good. After reading my review Paul contacted me. He came back and his painters repainted the whole house and the trim. Paul guarantees his work and he made everything right. I would highly recommend him for exterior siding and painting.

I chose Timberland based on them being from the neighboorhood and great reviews on the nextdoor app. The crew did a great job on our roof and cleaned up nicely. Paul and his project manager, Mark, communicated well and responded promptly through phone, email, and text. After the roof was done, they were able to install a chimney cap on our scary high chimney on very short notice. Highly recommend them!

After the hail storm in 2017, we needed our roof , gutters, and skylights redone. Timberland exteriors did a great job on all. We had to wait a couple months but that was due to everyone in the neighborhood needing repairs. Very friendly workers and company owner stopped by regularly to check on work, answer questions or take care of any concerns we had. When we are ready to rplace our siding, we will have them do it. They deal with insurance company and any problems with reimbursement which is a huge help.

I am not one who usually writes reviews, but when it comes to Timberland Exteriors, I absolutely must! We had our home resided last spring. Paul was SUPER helpful, patient, and kind. He made everything feel easy, and took extra time before the project began to help me choose colors to match my existing gutters, soffit & fascia. This was priceless! When we bought our home 4 years ago, I never really cared for the outside, but now when I pull into the driveway, I can honestly say, "I love my house!" We did a major house project with Timberland Exteriors (replaced siding, doors and many windows) We have never done a large scale project like this and it was scary to think about spending that kind of money. We could not have had a better experience from beginning to end. Paul is so knowledgeable, low key, has a great sense of humor and was great to work with. He has lots of experience, good ideas and a great computer program that allows you to see what different doors, siding colors and window styles will look like on your home. He set us up on a group text between Paul, the project manager Gary and my husband and I. Their communication was amazing-always prompt and any concerns we had were immediately addressed. Phone calls and emails were also responded to quickly.The crews that worked on our house (different crew for windows and doors and another for siding) were friendly, conscientious and had an amazing attention to detail. We are thrilled with how everything turned out and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Timberland Exteriors for your next house project.

I had my windows and siding done by them 9 years ago.
I recently had a Vista patio door seal go bad and Paul let me know that Vista is a lifetime warranty, but that they no longer have that product line.
But he got me in contact with Vista, and I got the door shipped in.
Then Mark came out and replaced it at no charge. Awesome!

Where can you find that kind of service anymore?? Love these Guys!
