I tried to call them because one of their drivers nearly took me out on the freeway without a blinker, and great news - they don't answer their phones! They just play a message that says when their hours are, even if you're calling during those hours.

Green & Black has been awesome to have as our landscape & snow removal service. They have been communicate, friendly, & easy to work with. Great team!

They installed our patio incorrectly and after one season the tiles have buckled, tiles have cracked, and will need to be completely redone. They didn’t lay any sand or screed which is what the manufacturer recommended. I regrouted three times in one season since it washed through the gravel underneath the tile every time it rained. Spent $15k and will need to start over. Final payment due was less than 8% and they demanded payment prior to coming out to even look at it. They also ran out of bricks for our retaining wall and installed a different style thinking if they chiseled the edges we wouldn’t notice. Also damaged our front step with a Bobcat and never repaired. Definitely would not recommend.

We want to thank your staff for the wonderful landscaping job they did yesterday. That was a really nasty mess out there and they took care of it for us. They moved the big rocks up to the house and helped position them appropriately, cleaned off the sidewalk and street, watered the newly seeded area and even wound up the hose when they finished.

The rain hit soon after they finished the job, so that gave us a nice watering, too. Thank you so much.

I really wanted this to be a good experience. Last summer we decided to find a company to treat out lawn and narrowed it down to Green & Black. The first treatment went well - made the lawn nice and green but there were weeds left (understandable). I was surprised to see them the first time so I requested to be on their email list to be notified when they were coming out next (we have 2 kids, a dog, etc.). Sure enough, the day I was going to mow a guy arrived (without notice) to treat our lawn for the second time. I was first annoyed to see that there was fertilizer everywhere - on the street, the driveway, even on our deck stairs. Over the next few days I noticed huge spots in our yard dying off from being burned so badly. I was so upset! I requested that they come out and put seed down at the very least, which they did. I got a permit from the city to water every day as specified and it never came up. Ended up having to go out and buy seed to fill in all the bare spots, which put me back an additional $50 on top of the extra water. In addition, because it was over-fertilized (you could see the pellets for weeks and weeks), the grass grew at an insane rate that forced me to mow more than 1x/week if I didn't want the mower to die on each pass. To top it off, Nate is a really hard guy to get a hold of. Like I said, wish this was a good experience because I have a slight lawn obsession, but I cannot recommend this company.

Green & Black has provided outstanding service for our home's lawn and yard cleanup over the last two years. They spend lots of time on our yard, arrive on a regular and predictable basis, and are super responsive whenever we have a question. Highly recommended.

Great company! As a manager of a restaurant, they have been a breath of fresh air! They are quick to answer any questions that I have. During a Friday night snowstorm, I went out to go shovel thinking they would be here a little later into the night and they had already stopped in, took care of our sidewalks and parking lot! Extremely impressed with them!

One of the worst companies that I have ever had to deal with. They are under contract with the management company where I live. They damaged my truck and refuse to take accountability for it. Also they do not show up to remove snow when they are supposed to, and when they finally do show up they do a horrible job.

I was informed by the management company where I live that when they tried to address the issue, they were lied to by the representative from Green and Black. I would give zero stars if I could. Horrible service. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

Excellent service phenomenal job on the fall clean up now springs here and had service done early morning couldn't tell they were here noise wise thank you for the outstanding work Green and Black I would highly recommend you to friends and family.

I am so thankful to have a company like Green and Black. They make it out in every storm. Schools are cancelled, people can work from home but their employees show up to take care of my driveway. They honor my contract and do a great job when they come out. I have had a couple companies just not come back after 1st service. We also use them for fertilizer and mowing. Service in the summer is excellent as well. If you ever have a question, they answer the phone and handle your question with professionalism. Thanks Nate and team for your excellent work and stay safe on the roads this winter.

Imagine being cut off by a driver of this company during dangerous weather conditions just so they could feel superior in their own skin. Hon, we know your truck twice the size of a car is going to do better in snow without your disrespectful actions taking place. You didn't earn my respect, but you did, however, earn this review and a party who will never support your business.

Driver of truck DOT 1129452, license plate YBY5767 on April 9th, 2026 around 12:50 PM, intersection of 18th Ave/Johnson St NE. Nearly caused a car accident by turning right on a red light (not recommended for a large truck), turning into the oncoming left turn lane and almost causing a head-on collision. Following this interaction, the driver had the nerve to pull around the block, roll down his windows, and start yelling profanity/slurs at me as I was entering my place of work. Honestly embarrassing for the company as a whole, a wild interaction to say the least.

Couldn't say enough good things about this company. Very easy to work with.
