Great experience and on a time crunch. Called them on a Thursday morning, they were out to give a quote an hour later and got a crew out Saturday morning to remove a tree before our fence crew came the following week. Reasonable price too! Will use again.

North Star Tree Service contractors are highly skilled in tree crown reduction. They artfully pruned my trees, maintaining their shape and balance.

We had a tree cut down in a front yard by a different company. Loved them and wanted to hire them again for a tree in our back yard. But our neighbor would need to allow access to our back yard from their side yard. The neighbor asked that we not use their side yard as they did not want damage to their yard from the vehicles that would be driving back there.

We then chatted with North Star Tree who said they would need to get a crane and not use the neighbor's side yard.

When they arrived to cut down the tree in our backyard, they started driving equipment on the neighbor's side yard. I ran outside to tell them that they couldn't do it. He asked me where the property line was??? The whole side yard is the neighbors as we have a retaining wall on our portion of the side yard. I told them the neighbor did not want anyone driving equipment on the side yard. I told them the neighbor did not want damage to his yard. He began to laugh and say We won't damage his yard. His treatment of me was absolutely unprofessional.

Then goes on to say that they were just there a week earlier cutting down the neighbor's and they would give him a call. What???? I already talked to the neighbor and he said no.

I immediately had to go to my neighbor's house to make sure they did not think we were ok with this. It was terrible to put me in that situation with my neighbor.

After all of this, the original company I wanted was $1000 cheaper. but we didn't use them because they would have to drive on our neighbors property. Even though North Star tree said they would not drive on our neighbors property. They did anyway. North Star Tree didn't care what they did and it cost me $1000 more.

I will never hire them again. It cost me $1000 more and it could have cost me my relationship with my neighbor.

Very unprofessional. Just wanted to get their money at whatever cost.

Thanks so much for the excellent snow removal service! The snow blowing was done perfectly, and the extra effort to shovel the leftover snow made a big difference. Nik is very responsive, works fast, and delivers great results. I really appreciate the attention to detail. Nik has taken down several trees for us over the years. He is detailed, methodical, efficient and nobody works harder. Nik is a real professional and the only company I would use for any tree removal. He gets the job done well!

I hired Nik to clean gutters at my parents house. He showed up on time and was very courteous to them. Once finished he made sure everything was clean and even walked around with my Mom looking at other jobs she wanted done in the future. I suggest hiring Nik for any outdoor services he offers.
