Construction Company reviews in Burnsville, Minnesota

I hired Christian Brothers Concrete to power wash my pool patio and auto cover and then put a sealant over the concrete to refresh its appearance. They were outstanding from start to finish. From getting the job scheduled to completing the project, everything was done on time. Excellent work and I’m very happy with the result. Would recommend them for any job.

Absolutely wonderful job. Tony was incredibly responsive and on point. Price was just right and the team provided quality work in a timely fashion.

Christian Brothers replaces our front stairs and did a fantastic job. The price was fair and we are very happy. They were friendly, professional and got the job done quickly.

Christian Brothers Concrete And Foundation Repair was top notch from the first contact with Tony to the end of the project! When Tony came out to the house, he assessed the situation and gave us a lot of valuable information. Then, he broke down the quote so we could make informed decisions about the scope of the project. We sought out multiple quotes and Tony's was the only one that addressed all, not just some, of the issues. We were able to choose, with confidence, which issues to address now and never felt pressured into doing more.
Zack, the on-site project manager, was incredible! He is THE person to have running the project. Polite and positive, he was an excellent communicator and was always on top of the project. He answered all of our questions with impressive knowledge and a genuine smile. Zack and his team (John, Julio, Trevor, and Curt) were knowledgeable, hardworking and always courteous. They each had expertise in different areas and worked amazingly well together to provide quality throughout all areas of the project.
It was a massive project with many different types of work being done: multiple concrete pads, a large driveway apron, reinforcing failing garage walls, core filling and rebar, removal of a large concrete patio, removal and replacement of select deck footings, extensive tiling and correctly grading the land around the back of the house.
Tony assured us that if any issues were uncovered as they dug into the project, they'd be discussed with us before any action was taken. As with any project, hidden concerns were uncovered. We were notified as any concerns arose and we were informed about options for if and how to fix them. There were no big surprises and each item was quoted fairly. Pricing for the changes was reasonable and in line with the original quote. Again, we were able to make informed decisions and didn't feel pressured into adding any additional items.
We will undoubtedly use Christian Brothers for any future projects. Thank you, Christian Brothers! We cannot recommend you highly enough! -

An amazing team of people at Fieldstone helped us create and then built our dream home.
-
Good people providing quality homes. They were all very nice through out the whole process. Their contractors do excellent work. Thank you!
-
They will provide an excellent finished home. They work very hard to meet schedules. They will treat you like a King & Queen throughout the entire process.

We have the most beautiful home. Craftsmenship throughout. The staff at Fieldstone are helpful and Bryan would be your champion during the building process and afterwards. They do not accept subpar work for themselves and take care of their clients and strive for the best.

Sara and Tadd were wonderful to work with and quick to find solutions to any issues that would arise. They care about the customer experience, and communicate well with agents!

We bought a house in November of 2022, very poor workmanship, things wasn’t complete. Still almost May 1st and we still do not have things complete and/or needing fixed. One example the flooring had paint splatters all over it, our exhaust to our stove didn’t work the day we signed papers and a light in master bedroom (just got it fixed late February), Master bathroom shower leaks causing the carpet in bedroom to get wet. The list is lengthy

Fieldstone is a great company to work for. Organized, professional people on site and most of all efficient. Mike who runs Fieldstone organized a tree removal and setting truss' on the same day. We we able to be efficient and keep the homeowners happy with production and less expense to them. I would recommend them if you are in need of house remodeling or new site construction.

Through the process of buying through fieldstone they were nothing but unprofessional to me and my parents. Tyler was incredibly unprofessional and never returned my phone calls. The only time he would call back is when they threatened to cancel us. Fieldstone did everything they could to cancel us multiple times. They don’t stop to listen to their clients at all. They don’t understand that this is people’s lives their messing with. Just because my parents have a language barrier doesn’t mean you can push them off to the side. My parents will never go with fieldstone ever again. They use cheap products and the house is falling apart before they even moved in. I don’t recommend this company.

While we all know the housing market is a mess and hectic right now — some businesses use it as an excuse for poor customer service. Had the house built and inside finished in February. Still waiting on final touches, clean up, back fill and driveway pouring. The demeanor of this review would be drastically different if there was not a plethora of houses STARTED in February and finished with driveways and backfill done already. The company has repeatedly promised us that the issue at hand would be solved in the next 5 business days. But promises lose their value when you mislead your customers. They assured us it will be done in the next 5 days — at this point still going on more than a month later (20+ business days). To get anything done on the property it requires constant reminding to the company. There are little touches that need attention on the inside of the house that they have been made aware of but haven’t followed through on.. i.e. vinyl flooring folding and popping up. Lesson they could learn from: if some of your contractors don't follow through with timelines or dates award the job to a more reliable contractor. Would not recommend a company that doesn’t prioritize the families they build for but instead just the wallets in the family’s pockets.

We purchased a beautiful custom home from Fieldstone. While the home was already complete, Fieldstone was easy to work with to make key modifications prior to closing. Shout out to Jeff and Ty for their exceptional service.

We bought a new construction model home and moved in December of 2015. Before our first year was up the carpeting was torn to shreds and bare in several places. We had nothing but concrete for a year in the basement until we saved enough to install Pergo. The vinyl they laid in the bathrooms lasted all of a year as well and is peeling up everywhere. Half the window latches broke, and I'll be damned if I can find a square corner in the whole house. The interior paint looked so pretty at first, but after a few months you could tell it was low grade too. The trim paint is peeling off, and you can't clean the walls because the paint wipes off in streaks. Burners on our stove stopped working after two years, and the granite counter tops in our kitchen were never properly sealed so it looks terrible. The bottom line is that Fieldstone makes very pretty model homes, but they aren't made to be lived in. I won't be recommending them, their contractors, or their homes to anyone.

7 years into living in our Fieldstone house. Great experience from buying the home with Tadd Johnson (model/spec) and having Bryan Wolfe help us out when new home issues needed to be addressed. We are happy with our house and glad to have had the pleasure of working with Fieldstone Family Homes.

Highly recommend working with Patty & Dave of Fieldstone Real Estate! We began looking for a small acreage in Feb 2020, found our home in July 2020, and closed Sept 2020. We were first time home buyers. Patty & Dave were extremely personable, helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive throughout our home search. They were able to refer us to wonderful mortgage lenders and home inspectors as well. They respond quickly to questions, are patient with explaining the process to first time buyers, and incredibly helpful at showings when we looked at properties. Specifically recommend for buying out in the country as they're very knowledgeable about that. We don't have enough good things to say! Couldn't have done it without them!
