Reviews of local pros in Circle Pines, Minnesota

Knight Light Electric came to the rescue after we ran into some outlet issues at home. Thankfully, Dan responded very quickly and we were able to schedule for a diagnosis and repair in just a couple of days, just before a major holiday week. Honest, trustworthy work! We will definitely use Knight Light again for future electrical services.

Dan is extremely experienced and it shows. Hired him to upgrade our panel and we are happy with the end result. Great communication and left our house cleaner than he found it. Will be calling Knight Light Electric for our future electric needs.

So I had a problem with my main circuit breaker called the home warranty program they gave me the runaround for four and a half hours saying somebody could be here in 2 days called Xcel Energy to confirm that the house has power which they confirmed but that there was something wrong with the fuse switches called knight Light Electric he asked me to send him a picture of the fuse panel to make sure he had the part in stock showed up in 20 minutes had everything fixed in 10 minutes phenomenal job highly recommend

I had a great experience with Dan at Knight Light Electric. He was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive to detail, and worked quickly without cutting corners. He moved my electric panel and added more spaces to accommodate future needs, and everything was done efficiently and safely. Out of all the quotes I received, his was the most affordable and the quality and speed of work exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend him and would absolutely call again for any future electrical work!

Dan was knowledgeable and straightforward in his initial recommendation for the work l requested. He and his help worked quickly and neatly. I will definitely use them again.

If you're reading this review, you've found the electrician you should call. Knight Light added a standard wall outlet in an attached garage for me and did it at a fair price. I called 6 other electricians and none of them could do what Knight Light was able to. Offer an estimate based on photos/video of a simple task. I expect this saved me hundreds in on-site quotes from other companies, just to figure out if their prices were fair. No games, professional and reasonably priced.

Absolutely 5 stars, without hesitation.

I cannot say enough good things about Knight Light Electric. I hired them for a long list of electrical projects at my home and the experience from start to finish was outstanding. Dan and Aiden were absolutely incredible to work with. Professional, knowledgeable, respectful, efficient, and very fairly priced. This is exactly the kind of electrical contractor every homeowner hopes to find.

Here is a snapshot of the electrical work Knight Light Electric completed for us, all done flawlessly:

• Installed rope lighting with adjustable brightness and warmness. We wanted something high quality but not overkill, and they guided us to the perfect solution
• Installed a new ceiling fan in our master bedroom
• Rewired a closet light in our guest bedroom that had ongoing issues
• Retrofitted lower garage lighting from fluorescent to LED for better brightness and energy efficiency
• Installed a new chandelier in our dining room and made sure it was perfectly centered and balanced
• Installed motion sensor lighting in the lower garage and mechanical room for safety and convenience
• Installed a whole home surge protector
• Diagnosed and fixed lighting above our entertainment center that had not been working properly

Every single item was handled with care, precision, and attention to detail. Dan and Aiden took the time to explain options, answer questions, and make sure everything was done the right way. There was zero rushing, zero pressure, and no upselling. Just honest recommendations and excellent electrical work.

What really stood out to me was how professional and courteous they were inside our home. They showed up on time, communicated clearly, kept everything clean, and treated our house like it was their own. That matters a lot, especially when you are dealing with residential electrical work.

If you are looking for a reliable electrician, residential electrician, electrical contractor, or licensed electrician who truly knows their craft, Knight Light Electric is the company to call. Whether it is lighting installation, LED upgrades, ceiling fan installation, surge protection, motion sensor lighting, rewiring, troubleshooting electrical issues, or general home electrical upgrades, they do it all and they do it extremely well.

The pricing was very fair, the quality of work was top notch, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations in every way. It is rare to find an electrician you trust completely, and Knight Light Electric has absolutely earned that trust.

Huge thank you to Dan and Aiden for such an amazing job. I will be using Knight Light Electric for all future electrical projects and will be recommending them to friends, family, and neighbors without hesitation. If you are searching for a dependable, honest, and highly skilled electrician, look no further. Knight Light Electric is the real deal.

Best electrician in town. I am a builder and use Dan and team for all projects big and small and every single time they deliver... he's the one asking me if he can call for inspection!
Knight Light Electric is very professional and always on top of it which is why they have been our go to sparky for a few years now. Thanks for yet another job well done on the bathroom addition, Dan!!

Will never use anyone else but Knight Light! We first hired Knight Light 5 years ago for a fixer upper that needed a lot of both corrective and remodeling electrical work done. Since then, we’ve hired them for other electrical jobs around our house and I’m impressed every time. Their work is fantastic, they are friendly, punctual, easy to communicate and well priced!

We had an excellent experience working with Knight Light! The scope of our project changed dramatically, and they handled it with professionalism and a sense of urgency. They treated our home with the utmost care, getting the necessary work done without additional damage. Dan is attentive and communicative. We felt respected and taken care of. We will definitely work with Knight Light again for future projects big and small!

We just had our whole house rewired by Knight Light Electric, and are so happy with the work they did. Dan is a wizard and was able to get it all rewired without even cutting holes in our walls! They were very thorough, efficient, and affordable. Great communication and fast response. I will definitely call them again. Highly recommend!

I recently hired Knight Light Electric, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Communication was excellent from start to finish—Dan was responsive, clear, and kept me informed every step of the way. The estimate was fair and transparent, with no surprises. We replaced the entire electrical system of our 1905 home (Hook & Tube wiring). Upgraded lighting, movement of outlets, additions of outlets both inside and outside. It was a big job! The work was completed in a timely manner, and it was evident he and his partner take pride in being hardworking and detail-oriented. I highly recommend Knight Light Electric for anyone looking for reliable, professional electrical services!

We needed to have some relatively extensive electrical work done in our daughter's 1910s era home in S. Mpls following her recent purchase, which included upgrading the service from to 200amp, moving the electrical panel from a location on the 1st floor down to the basement, replacing some remaining legacy knob & tube wiring in addition to some other items (new circuit needed for an induction cooktop, bathroom ceiling fan wiring new under sink outlets, etc). Dan from Knight Light Electric, along with another member of his team, did a phenomenal job and within the timeframe he'd promised and the budget he had originally outlined. Dan was extremely responsive to questions both in person and via text exchanges throughout the project and made us feel like we were a priority in getting the job completed. I have a high degree of confidence in the work and would readily hire him again.

After realizing how expensive annual professional holiday light installation is, I started looking around for permanent holiday lights. Dan was the only person out of several companies who actually came on site to see my 1890s home and what we were hoping to get with our lights. He is thorough and detailed. Even after the job was completed, he’s been a great resource as I learn tips and tricks with the Jellyfish Lighting app. It was definitely an investment, but instead of enjoying the lights for 2 months we will have years and year of fun.

Jake is highly qualified, reliable, a real pro. He goes above and beyond.

My new electrician for anything I need. Great service and work. Can’t say anything went wrong because it didn’t.

Communication was great. Very flexible with scheduling . Arrived exactly when they said they would. Quickly found the problem and was great to work with.

Excellent, top notch work. Strongly recommend Jake for any electrical repairs.

Loved working with Jake. He made sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend.
