S&S Lawn Care has taken care of weekly mowing my lawn for several years. At my suggestion they do a nice job of cross cutting my lawn in order for the lawn to continue healthy growth. They try to keep costs reasonable and answer all of my inquiries promptly.

The only suggestion I would have for them is to keep their mower blades a distance from my landscape edging so as not to cut into the edging, especially on the curves of the edging. Their weed whippers can take care of the grass close to the edging so the mower does not go over the edging.

We have been using S&S Lawn service for the past few years. Their service is excellent. Lawn mowing is done in professional manner. Snow removal is done as needed to make sure that we are not stuck at home.

S & S Lawn Care Service has been great to work with starting on day one! Pat responds quickly to calls and emails and his crew pays attention to detail. I have been very happy with there work on my property and plan to continue to use their services.

Very, very, very expensive letdown… type of criminal that should LITERALLY be in jail *Let me explain*. 💯… We run a business out of our backyard renting out our pool and got scammed out of twentys of thousands of dollars and have well over $50K or more worth of work to fix or replace or repair his damages. on a MAJOR PROJECT…. by the “owner” Caleb, Had a deadline of June 1 2025, and as I wrote this mid September and the project is abandoned and in absolute shambles. Caleb stopped bringing help when he ran out of money after the first week when we gave him over $20,000 down. I loved his ideas and building a friendship with him was trying to help as he is my friends little brother…true colors came to fruition. That was just the beginning of the scam. We are having to take this company to court because they did not hold up their end of the deal, terrible quality, lies, and every excuse you could think of to get more money. He botched almost every aspect of this project, using sob stories about kids and family to receive “progress payments” for emergencies and family well being every step of the way while making lists of promises for the emergency money. I spent over one month working side-by-side trying to help him stay on task as I built the actual deck (Like a pro😏) and unloaded tons of pallets for him (that’s the most labor involved I think) A million excuses as to why it’s our fault, or other workers we hired as to why he can’t finish the job… made many other “Progress Payments” because we had rentals booked and needed it done. Once he conned us out of the latest $6500 payment, he never showed up again (in fact, we just filed a police report as well) Here are some great examples of what we are stuck with until we pay to fix the damage he left as I try to figure out how to make it something we asked for (His last company was shut down for a lawsuit very similar, and set this one up under his wife’s name) I’m sure he will start another one next year and blow us off just the same. These photos are just the beginning… we did a $7000 addition to the driveway, he “forgot” to bury the gutter drainage (whole reason we did the driveway was drainage issues against the foundation. VERY crooked cut lines & they ran out of cement during the pour so they used bags after a fresh pour to finish the slab…. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT and not set properly, literally crumbling … leaky gas pipes, 3 sliced electrical wires and he completely abandoned us. LASTLY! He used my wife’s account to pick up materials through RockHard using her professional account with them ….He returned 2 pallets of our material (most of which we need to buy again… THEN HE WENT BACK AND TOOK OUT $6000+ IN MATERIALS FOR HIS OTHER JOBS UNDER MY WIFES ACCOUNT THEN NEVER PAID FOR THEM… WE NEVER GOT REFUNDED FOR THE PALLETS HE RETURNED!! (THOUSANDS) Actual felony. Between property damage, and criminal theft he’s got another thing coming…

* I would give just about ANYTHING to go back in time and use my life savings on a real professional. I will fix it myself…. P.s. take a look at Becker Landscape and Designs reviews. That’s his last scam & Bankrupcy 🫩

Valley Grove Landscape & Remodeling did two projects at our home in cottage grove. They did an amazing job on replacing our cracked concrete sidewalk with beautiful pavers. They also did a full basement remodel for us. Replacing our carpet with tile and installing a beautiful custom bar and cabinets. I would highly recommend this company as they were very professional throughout the project and had great communication throughout the entire process. We will definitely hire them for any future projects we have!

Full transparency this review is for Becker Landscape & Design, LLC which was the company that Caleb ran before Valley Grove Landscaping, however I can't leave a review for that company and wanted to be sure everyone is aware of what they are getting into.

We had Caleb install a $15k paver patio in July 2021 (We are still within the 5 year warranty) and immediately started having issues with the patio. The sides were collapsing and pavers are not at all level, the quality is extremely poor which is hard to really see in the pictures.

I initially contacted Caleb in September of 2022, then April 2023 where I was told they would be out in June which of course he didn't show. I then reached out again in October 2023, May 2024, October 2025 and finally March 2025. He responded every time leading me on with a promise to show up shortly to correct the issues until the final contact where he went dark and has been unreachable since then.

As we are coming to the end of our warranty I am starting a lawsuit, but expect to get nothing due to the previous LLC being closed. Seeing other reviews with similar behavior, fair warning to everyone involved. Thank you
