We had a drain tile system installed this winter. Everyone we dealt with was professional throughout the process. It got done in the timeline they said and the end result was great. Would recommend to anyone getting work done to their basement.

I had drain tile, a radon mitigation system, and an egress window installed in the same job and it was a great experience. The whole team was professional, friendly, and did an impressive job.
Appreciative of Gary and his thorough quote and communication leading up to the job, Scott and his team, and Brent’s incredible cement work. When Scott and the team were working on the basement, we got a bad storm that flooded the streets. I was very impressed with how they responded and were able to keep working given those circumstances. Everyone involved was eager to answer questions, respectful, and a pleasure to work with. The office was great and quick to answer any questions concerning scheduling and payment.
I’d strongly recommend Standard Water Control Systems. It is such a relief to have a dry basement, especially after all the rain we have gotten this summer.

An Outstanding Experience. Brent and crew arrived on time. They worked efficiently and consistently and left the basement cleaner than they found it. They actually finished the project a day earlier than expected and the workmanship looks great. This is the second house I’ve had them install a water system in, highly recommend.

I realized our sump system hadn't been tested in some time. Called Standard Water and they were nothing less than 5 star service. Ramon came out quickly, knew exactly how to confirm everything was working properly. Professional, knowledgeable, courteous and fast service. Highly recommended.

I don't normally write these reviews; I find they are often either demanded of the customer or as a cudgel for the employees. Not the case this time. But I am delighted! Standard Water Control installed a complicated radon control system in my house this week. It was complicated because they had to run the pipe from my basement floor, through the sill plate/beam into my garage, all the way across the garage ceiling and up into my walk-in attic. Then it went across the attic floor and out the roof behind my chimney. When I contacted them, I asked how they could do it and if they could arrange to have the exit invisible from the street. Gary, who wrote the bid, spent a lot of time figuring it all out. When the installation date rolled-around, Jesus (I think. Forgive me, I am *horrible* with names...) spent a great deal of time with the little details needed to do the job right and to make it look great too. He even arranged to run the pipes around all of our shelving so we can put everything back to where it was before. His attention to detail was super-impressive. Jesus also went out of the way to explain exactly how it was supposed to work, how it might work a little differently because of what was under my foundation (a little gravel and a lot of clay) and what the warranty was. I wasn't after the lowest bid, but these guys even came in a little lower than the other guys I called. I do not hesitate to recommend Standard Water Control.

Standard installed sump pump system in 2024 (actually replaced old one contractor did in 1980). Great job & fair price for work involved. On 12/10/25, the battery charger on the backup pump was making weird noise but working. Called Kelly at 10 AM, service tech out at 2 PM and replacement charger installed at 4 PM, (tech had to go to shop in snowstorm to get replacement). All is fine now. Tech was very professional and explained issues and why replacement needed (Ramone I think). Couldn’t expect better service and solution. So yes 5 + Star, to Kelly, Ramone and Standard. Mark

Alex and his crew did a great job installing our new egress window. Alex set expectations clearly at the beginning of the job. He and his crew were meticulous with clean up inside and out. There's always a lot of dust in jobs like this and he gave me tips on how to do the final clean up inside the house and answered all my other questions.

The well looks great and we are very pleased with the three step design. It should be easy to use if we ever really need it. The window opens and closes smoothly and combined with the larger well lets a lot of fantastic natural light into the basement.

I worked with Kevin and Joe to help figure out what was needed for my cracking foundation and radon remittance needs. Kevin was knowledgeable and responsive. Joe and his team were very timely, knowledgeable and did great work. Everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful and friendly. I will be looking to Standard Water again once I am ready to add an egress window.

I in fact had them out for more foundation stabilization and to add an egress window. Alex and his team did a great job of adding an egress to our house in one day. Once we have exposed our north wall we will likely have them out for the last of our foundation fortification.

Water issues in the home are never fun, but it was good to work with Standard Water Control. They worked hard to get the job done and their system works. The workers are courteous and take care of the rest of your home while doing a dusty dirty job of concrete removal, drain installation and cement repair. They thought of everything to keep the dust at bay. Their jack hammer has a filtration system, they plastic off everything and help you prepare for the job. They cover floors where their foot traffic is too. I really appreciate the details they did to care for the rest of my home while they mitigated the water issues. I highly recommend.

From start to finish, Standard Water has been an amazing partner in solving several water issues in my basement. Nate came out to view the initial water issue and provide a quote for the work. He was knowledgeable and helpful, providing his perspective with no pushiness or “scare” tactics. I needed to wait several weeks before drain tile could be installed since the team was in such high demand. Well worth the wait! Brian and team did a great job installing the drain tile and sump pump and Brent was wonderful as well. About a month after the drain tile install, I was dealing with a separate issue in the basement that uncovered the need to use Standard Water again. Joe came out to assess the situation and within a week, Brian had the problem fixed. They were equally great to work with the second time around. Highly recommended! Thanks for your help.

Standard Water Control installed drain tile in the basement of my 1939 home a few years ago. I’ve recently had some water seeping through the bricks following significant rain falls. Scheduling was a quick phone call and the work was done quickly and professionally by Ramon within a week of calling to schedule the appointment.

Thank you for the great job on the house! I watched them work and I liked the decisions they made dealing with the failing foundation. They didn’t make a mess out of everything they cleaned up really well. Everything they told me was discussed thoroughly and completed. I needed to have my water control system extended. The teams were very professional and respectful. The job was done in a timely manner and the communication was excellent. Brent did a beautiful job with the concrete.

There is a reason Standard Water comes so highly recommended. Everyone is wonderful to work with, including Todd the project manager, Heidi & Kelly in the office, and all the work crews. Brian the foreman and his crew were professional, hard working and went above and beyond to explain the project and talk through all the details. Brent and his crew who did the cement were equally impressive. Standard Water has hired some really great people, it was a relief to know my basement was in such skilled, capable hands. I highly recommend them.

My experience with standard water control systems was fantastic! Everyone from the schedulers, project manager to the drain tile and concrete installers was incredibly responsive, accommodating and professional. They were great at communicating throughout every step of the project and the quality of their work was impeccable right down to the cleanup. I would highly recommend this company to anyone with basement water problems.

Outstanding work done quickly and neatly!
Supervisor Brent explained the process and answered every question. I was very worried about dust. They draped everything and cleaned up afterward. No problems. Project was completed in two morning sessions: Day 1 for the plumbing. Day 2 for the cement work and cleanup. My yard was protected from damage using a long plywood walkway. This is a far less costly than trenching the outside foundation. Photos: Standard Water didn't remove my drywall. That was the result of previous water intrusion about to be fixed.

Had a whole drainage and sump pump system put in. Took only 2 days. They came out to take a look, and were very clear on what needed to be done. Gave me all the literature to understand what would be going on. Explained everything in detail to me and when they came out, and they worked well as a team. Experienced no dust or dirt in the rest of the house while they worked, both days. They cleaned up after themselves very well, both inside and out. Would have never known they drilled through a foot of concrete. I thought the job was reasonably priced compared to other companies I looked at. They showed me the final result and it turned out great. I am so happy that my daughter will have no more water/moisture in her basement. Amazing work on the drainage tile they installed. Very professional, and they know what they are doing. The foreman were very communicative and nice, it was a two day job, first day was demo and install, second day(half day) was concrete work. I only remember one of the foreman’s name, Brent, but both were great to work with. Highly recommended.

Nothing but a great experience. Had a New Drain Tile Installed & Foundation Stabilization Straps. From the sales rep taking extra time to explore all viable solutions & what worked best with our home/budget, to Heidi everytime I called with a question, nothing but professional, kind, and efficient. The construction crews were respectful of our home, belongings, and were able to get the job done without cutting out our framed walls. Saved us a ton of time & money, while giving us Peace of Mind that our basement is now well protected from water intrusion & stabilized. Highly Recommend Standard Water for any work you need done!
