Used Mahner for a second time. Always a pleasure to have on site and never cause a problem. They are courteous and don’t mind when people watch, even though I’m sure it’s a pain for them having others watch over. Thanks again Monti for handling our tree issues like usual. The Mahner experience was awesome from estimate to payment. Monti walked us through the yard, explained how they would remove our trees (some were in tough spots) and remove the wood from our property. He answered all of our questions. Once we agreed to work with Mahner, we were put on the schedule for the following week. The crew was on time, incredibly nice and very thorough. We walked the yard again, confirmed plans for each tree and off they went. They took out four trees, three stumps and had our yard cleaned up good as new in less than five hours. Couldn’t be happier with our service. Thanks!

I don’t usually write reviews but the service I received last week was exceptional. We had lighting hit a tree in our yard on a Wednesday evening. Once I realized it had happened (the storm ended) I texted Mahner (I had used them in the past) to see if they were still doing tree work. They responded immediately (this was 6:30PM). We were leaving town, on Friday, and I was concerned the damaged tree would hit the house while we were gone. I sent a picture and was told a team would be out there in the AM. By 9:00 AM they had a crew here. By 10:30 the tree was gone, stump ground and everything cleaned up. Crazy fast and they did a great job. This was a fairly large tree (I’m still getting used to it not being there☹). I couldn’t recommend them enough. Not just for their work but I chatted up a few of the workers and they were all extremely pleasant. Great crew. Great service.

This is our second time using Mahner Tree Service. From the original contact thru the end of service we couldn’t be more pleased with the communication and service. The team that came out to the house was very efficient and did a nice job cleaning up. We would definitely recommend Mahner if you’re in need of tree trimming or removal.

Mahner Tree Service was hired by a neighbor to remove a tree on Monday. I had a large pile of ash limbs piled up by the curb since Saturday. I was planning on hauling them for disposal that night but when I heard the chipper, I walked over and offered the crew cash if they could swing by and clean up my brush pile after they were done at my neighbors. They provided a reasonable price and were happy to help. In addition, I still had 4 main limbs on my dying ash that was still standing that I inquired about having them finish the job and bring what was left of the tree down. Again, they offered a reasonable price and had it down & cleaned up in about an hour and a half. They squeezed me in between their AM/PM appointments. I was thrilled to pay the men and have it done. It saved me a couple weekends and a trip to the chiropractor. Great personalities of all 4 men who clearly know what they are doing and have pride in their work.

Had a row of trees trimmed and a few removed in my yard, and Mahner tree service was excellent. Jamaica and her crew did a great job,and the cleanup was beyond great. I would definitely recommend them for any tree needs.

Monti and his crew did a great job removing a large and very dead tree from our yard. He gave us a competitive bid, explained why the tree had died, and stayed in constant communication with me in scheduling the service around Minnesota winter weather. He's really nice, knows his stuff and gets it done -- and done well. Highly recommend!

Mahner Tree Service did a great job today on our trees! We had two large silver maples with limbs overhanging the house, street, and driveway. Monti and his team showed up right on schedule and after just a few hours our trees were looking much better with no mess left over. Pricing is reasonable and they are a considerate team, taking the time to explain all the work being done before starting.

Monti and crew did a fantastic job with trimming our two huge birch trees. On time, professional and great clean-up. Honestly we couldn't be happier. Only using Mahner Tree from now on.

Didn't use them. However, the person I spoke with treated me like an idiot because I asked why he referred a particular service in Mpls. His company only works in the suburbs, I get it. Not rocket science. So, when I asked why he suggested a particular company in MPLS, he didn't have a basis other than they worked in MPLS. I again asked if there was anything special about the firm and why he recommended them. Fair question. He responded slowly and clearly that it was the only company he knew of that worked in MPLS. It was like I couldn't understand English or was too stupid to grasp that his company only worked in the suburbs. Based on this exchange, I'd recommend steering very clear of this outfit.

Mahner Tree Service was one of a handful of companies I called to get a quote on the removal of a large tree limb that broke off from a storm. I selected this company based on first impressions. Monti was responsive, courteous, friendly, and professional over the phone and expressed a genuine sense of urgency in being able to stop by my house to look at the damage to provide an accurate quote.

I wasn't home when he stopped by to assess the damage, but over the phone, Monti mentioned that since the large tree limb fell on top of a large bush, it caused some damage and he said he would clean that up. I really appreciated the extra attention to detail. This incident prompted me to inquire about getting a quote for some additional work to the yard my husband and I have been wanting to do. Monti was very willing and suggestive. In addition, he took time to answer our landscaping questions, providing helpful suggestions, with an obvious knowledge of his craft.

Not only was the service excellent, the price was on par with the other companies I called for quotes as well, giving me confidence I was not being taking advantage of.
