I've been a long-time customer of Bachman's, having frequented the Lyndale location for years to get flowers for my mom when I was younger. Over time, I've seen Bachman's evolve and grow, even adding a charming little French café at the Lyndale site.

Now living in Excelsior, I occasionally find myself at the Eden Prairie location, and my most recent visit was nothing short of delightful. I had the pleasure of meeting Sue Bee, who crafted a stunning bouquet for my daughter Benedetta. Sue Bee was incredibly friendly and shared a fun story about her nickname—apparently, there were so many Susans when she was born that "Sue Bee" stuck as her lifelong nickname. Another Susan at the shop had even changed her name to Diane for the same reason, which gave us a good laugh!

The staff at Bachman's have always been warm and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. Whether it's for a special occasion or just to brighten someone's day, Bachman's is my go-to for beautiful, fresh flowers. Thank you, Sue Bee, and the team at Bachman's for your wonderful service!

    A lifelong & happy neighbor,

The ladies there are always so nice and helpful. Every time I come in, I’m greeted and I’m helped with such a nice character. I want to do a special shout out to a man named Thomas. He was very nice and helpful and made my experience writer.

Love the store, multiple varieties of flowers and plants. They have everything that’s required for gardening. You can spend lot of time there if you love gardening. Cost is on the higher side but quality is great.. visit them

Love this place, I have plants still alive that I bought three years ago! Their customer service is amazing. I had a Japanese lilac tree that was not doing well with some advice it came back blooming well next year!

Superb selection of perennials. When they go 25% off (and later 50% off) in the fall, I scoop up dozens of plants.

The staff here is always super friendly. It’s easy to get in and out of the store (plenty of parking, plus easy street access), and the store is pleasant to walk through.

We came here today, looking for a very specific plant but sadly, they don’t have it here. They have a decorative version with multiples of the plant and don’t sell them separately, which was sad. It’s all right though as Sue Bee provided great customer service when I was looking for the bathroom. The bathroom was very clean, considering it is very outdated, which was very nice to see.

My first experience at Bachman's and boy, it did not disappoint. They have so many different plants, flowers, gifts, and more. Rose(the person, not the flower) was such a wonderful and kind soul who helped me out with little information other than "I want purple" and really knocked it out of the park. The boquet was better than I could've hoped for. 11 out of 10 will visit again and hope Rose is there to help me again!

A lovely place to shop for your floral perclivities! Their stores are always well sized, their staff, pleasant and knowledgeable, and they have a wide array of annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, and cut flowers, prearranged, or customized for you.....they stand behind their products too, part of the reason they will not be the cheapest.....but I find them a good value for what I get, and that is what I look for. Don't be afraid to give them a try!

I would give them half a star if I could. I don't dislike Home Depot but I can never find what I want and I waste time looking for someone to help me. As I am making my way to get out of the store, 3 employees are standing in front of the self check out having a meeting around a 1/2 full cart. Now I realize everyone has to start somewhere and they might have been being trained in, but come on!

Nice selection for a hardware store. But no help available when you need it. Checkout clerks slow as molasses.

It is always dirty and unorganized. The items are left out over the winter and sold the next season. No one is ever around to assist with out of stock or warped items. This is a disappointing location all around.

I went specifically just for mulch and they were out! How can you run out of a popular item. Manager should've anticipated better.

Great store. All the basics for home improvement plus a little help if you need it. Good garden section as far as tools and supplies go but the plants at least this year (2017) are really sad. They're not healthy and very pedestrian.

Friendly, but clueless. In the gardening center, the potting soil I wanted was sold out at customer level...but they have pallets of it shrink-wrapped and stored above. I tell the garden center cashier, who gets on a walkie to say a customer needs help with potting soil. A minute later, an employee from inside the store comes out and asks for clarification on what I'm looking for, and helpfully leaves to literally look for a forklift operator. 10 minutes later, she returns to tell me that she couldn't find a forklift operator. No suggestion on when to return, no offer to call when it's available, nada. Very nice, very friendly, but fundamentally unhelpful.
