Andy, Jesse, Chris, and the whole Beds and Borders team are wonderful! I truly can't say enough nice things. Communication was often and clear, even allowing me to research each plant to be included in the yard to see if they were dog safe and working with me to replace them with good alternatives. Every member of the team that came to our home was professional and we enjoyed chatting with them all! Every little thing we had questions about or wanted changed or added was addressed. Chris was at the site every day and both he and Andy did such a wonderful job keeping us updated on what was happening and what to expect next. Beds and Borders were able to take our unkept .5 acre lot and turn it into an oasis even reusing a lot of what we had there previously. I loved how much Andy cared and thought about the environment and things like pollinators. I would give more than five stars if I could!

I wanted to wait a couple years before reviewing Beds & Borders, and I’m happy to say that the boulder wall, steps, edging, and paver patio they installed haven’t shifted a bit and still look great. They fixed my drainage problem, so no more sloppy mess in our backyard. Everyone on the B&B team was a pleasure to work with. I will definitely hire them again for my next project.

Andy and Jesse developed a comprehensive plan which they reviewed with us and accepted our modifications. Andy was very good about keeping us apprised of schedule. The crew was fantastic as was the foreman Chris. They all went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. Andy reviewed care and maintenance of all our new plants with us. Beds & Borders probably isn't the cheapest option but in this case I feel like we got what we paid for, which is to say that we are very pleased with the design and installation and especially the final product.

The transformation of my backyard is truly amazing!!! All the neighbors agree too. They are just as much in awe of it as I am. It was a delightful experience working with Jesse and Andy through this process and the project. The implementation team was phenomenal. They really take pride in their work and are so respectful of me as the owner and the neighbors too. They took the care each day to clean up the street after they were done working for the day. The team had fun and brought joy to their work which I was very endeared too. I did not have one complaint from any of the neighbors as the team did their work. Great communication from the moment I reached out to Andy to set up an appointment for the initial meeting throughout the project to after the completion of the project.

Great experience working with Beds and Borders Landscaping! Andy, Chris and the whole team are wonderful people to work with when designing, tearing out and installing a new landscape. Andy listened to what I wanted but he made it better! There was good communication from start to finish. Andy is very prompt when getting back with any questions even after the project has been completed. After my front yard and berm were completed, Andy checked in to give me advice on products to use and how to take care of my new plants and sod.

We have worked with Andy and team on a couple different projects at our home. They are great to work with! In the design process they took our vision and incorporated their expertise to come up with a great plan while respecting our budget. The work was efficient and of the highest quality. We partnered with Beds and Borders to do a pretty comprehensive landscape refresh at our home in June of this year, and are so happy with the result! Andy and Jesse worked with us initially to come up with a plan that worked for our yard and our budget. Once the crew arrived to transform our yard, they were so professional and adept at their craft. They cleaned up each night and were friendly and willing to answer any questions we had along the way. Andy stopped over once the project was complete to do a walk through of all of the improvements, which was really helpful to us: he reminded us of what they had removed, what they planted and then gave us some great tips and tricks for keeping the plantings watered and healthy. We highly recommend this company!

Beds and Borders did a fantastic job in landscaping my front yard after I had some home remodeling done.
From the beginning working with Andy and the team in creating a design and the process of the work was so easy and stress free.
Andy kept me updated on the crew's start date and the process. The project took 5 days, as per the expectation I was given. At the end of the project, Andy did a walk through to make sure everything was satisfactory. I am so pleased with the outcome.

I used Beds and Borders to do some backyard landscaping, front yard landscape around an electrical box and redo edging around my house. Andy and Jesse came up with a great design that fit my budget and they listened to my ideas and needs. They were both very responsive to my questions and any changes I wanted to make to the design. And now that we’re a year in, and everything’s growing and taking even more shape, we love it even more. From the incredible design, to the actual work of making it all happen. I can't say enough good things about Andy Freeland and the Beds and Borders team - we had several bids for a backyard project, and are so thankful we went with his group. He and his team were very responsive to our requests and ideas during the design and construction phases for a large backyard landscaping/hardscaping project around our pool. My family and I found the team to be professional, kind, on time, on budget, and their communication and attention to detail were outstanding. Andy did a great job coordinating multiple other teams (lighting, irrigation) and kept the timeline tight - I didn't have to worry about anything, I knew he'd take care of everything.

We have once again had an amazing experience with Andy and his team at Beds and Borders. They helped us remove a 75 year old lilac and replace it with the most visually pleasing landscape design. It will now look good during all seasons. The team at Beds And Borders Landscape Design were easy to work with, were here when they said they would be, and left our home looking much better than when they arrived. Beds & Borders designed and implemented a complete redesign of our courtyard and front lawn. Andy & Jesse, along with the rest of their crew, were great to work with. I had a fantastic experience with Beds & Borders. From the very first meeting to the design and redesign, to the installation, and follow-up, they have been a wonderful company! I picked them after doing some research and really loving Andy’s background and view on nature and design. I have a massive yard and Jesse came up with a beautiful, low maintenance design that will last me years and years! The plants he picked…just gorgeous and so unique! The crew that did the work was fast, efficient, and it was obvious they truly loved what they do! They even worked in the rain. And the high-end hardscapes they installed and the lack of chemicals is so great! I didn’t have to lift a finger or worry about a thing after they got here. My yard finally has definition and I’m so motivated to do more with it now (once I can afford more 😁). It was pricey but again huge yard (half-acre) and they did just a ton of work! And I have almost 200 new plants! It was worth every penny! I’ll add pictures when the plants grow in. For now pics wouldn’t do them justice as they are all still babies and you cannot imagine the scope of my yard. But I can’t wait to get them out here again! Just had Andy and his team complete an overhaul on our entire yard. To say that it blows away our expectations is an understatement. The level of communication, professionalism, and cleanliness of his entire staff does not go unnoticed. To see a landscaping company far exceed expectations in this day and age is a rarity. Gave our back yard a complete makeover, and we are so happy with the result. They were by far the most detailed & thoughtful in their proposal, thinking out how to handle drainage, elevation, and make best use of the space itself. We're thrilled with the result and hope to work with them again to do our front yard some day.

In my experiences with home and landscape improvement projects, staying in communication, staying on schedule, and staying on budget are always promised, rarely delivered. Beds & Borders came through on ALL 3. Right away, I liked Andy. He listened to what we were looking for and talked through a few things until we both were at the same place. The plans he and Jesse came up with were great. The crews were awesome to work with. (and they came when they were supposed to be here, cleaned up when they were done, and answered whatever questions I had) The end results are beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. I’m so excited to watch everything come back this spring!

They turned a mud pit into a lovely patio, grass lawn, and garden bed, surrounded by easy-to-maintain plants. We hired them again this fall to update our front yard.
