We were extremely pleased with every aspect of our Landscaping Project with Margaret and Margaret Bjorkstrand Landscaping.

Initially looking to do a small Landscaping Project of a Boulevard Garden prior to our daughter's High School graduation Open House, our project grew to include 3 more garden areas due to Margaret's accurate and persuasive CAD Landscape proposal.

After seeing the impact of Margaret's Landscape proposal on our property, we could not resist doing the whole project because her choices of plants, combination of colors and scale of items really upgraded and complimented our house.

Margaret's focus on Native Plants, lower maintenance perennials and flowering plants that provide color throughout Spring, Summer and Fall were another aspect that delighted us and empowered us to believe that we could maintain these new gardens.

That was just at the proposal stage that started in March with Margaret measuring and providing the initial Landscape CAD proposal. We were so struck by the impact of the Boulevard Garden, that Margaret offered to increase the scope of the proposal with a CAD rendering of three more areas.

Once we were finished with the CAD proposal, we could not believe Margaret's timeline of just a week and a half to remove existing plants, ready the gardens and installing the new landscaping. This allowed us plenty of time before the open house.

We were really impressed with Margaret's work ethic in the actual removal of our existing gardens and installation of the new landscape. Throughout the week the temperatures were in the high 90's and she encountered lows in the 50's and thunderstorms. Despite all those weather conditions, she continued to put in full days and finished the whole project as promised in just a week and a half.

Margaret provided a document with all the common and Latin names of the plants as well as care instructions. If that wasn't enough, she stopped back to reseed a section of the lawn that had suffered a bit of wear during the project.

We are planning on continuing the project over the next couple of years into our back yard.

I cannot recommend this business enough—Margaret is amazing! Excellent communication, always on-time for when she said she’d be here, and highly skilled. She developed a plan for my out-of-control yard, totally listened to what I needed (dog- and kid-friendly), came up with great ideas, and implemented everything in less time than predicted (helped along by several days of nice weather). The final result is wonderful—I can’t wait to see what it looks like as it grows!

We have used Handyman Connection for a couple of our home repairs. It has always been easy to get a quote in a timely fashion and there is always follow-up. Gene was the latest to fix some holes in our wall and ceiling because of a wiring project that had been previously done for which the electrician did not cover in doing his work. Gene is meticulous about doing a thorough job for us. The completed project is wonderful.

Brandon was excellent and completed two small projects/repairs. This was the second time Brandon was assisted assigned a project of mine.

I wish I could leave a positive review because the workers were very pleasant, but Iwas very disappointed in their work. I could kick myself for allowing them to charge me far more than they were worth. They installed the new vinyl flooring and painted my laundry room just fine. But they re-hung the door so that it sits crookedly in the frame after they were through painting it. They also did a terrible job re-grouting parts of my walk-in shower. They left gobs of grout and grout haze on the tile and shower curtain. They also did poorly with a simple painting patch job. All they needed to do was to sand and paint. Instead, they applied a ridiculously thick layer of spackle on it and then painted over it, but did not blend it in with the surrounding area. I have contacted them with some of my complaints and I’ve heard nothing.

We reached out to Handyman Connection to have some work done on our window trim. Alex was great to work with, and we're very happy with how everything turned out. The cost was reasonable, and I appreciate that even though it wasn't a huge project, Alex was still very attentive to it and responsive to my messages. I plan to reach out to Handyman Connection for future home improvement projects.

Tom was amazing! He knew exactly what to do! So many things to be fixed and just went right at it! Really great to work with!

Alex at Nordic Craft was great to work with, he communicated and kept us informed about the progress of our project. Marco did an amazing job getting the job done efficiently and effectively. Very professional. One of their installers made a mistake on measuring and installing the garage window, but they sent out another installer to fix the problem, and it looks amazing. Handled a difficult situation very professionally and respectfully. Looks better than the original window!

Terrible experience. They came out to do an estimate to replace a service door to our garage and told us they would provide information so we could purchase door for them to install. They never provided the information and we spent 3 weeks calling them and they never responded. Very poor customer service.

Handyman Brandon was very nice but the communication and setting up was terrible! It was so difficult to get an answer on when they were arriving, how long it would take, scheduling, etc. Then Brandon finally showed up and worked for 2 hours and said he'd be back another day, I had to rearrange the rest of my week to accommodate. Very disappointed in the communication. I was told they couldn't schedule because Molly was on vacation. So I take it, their 1 scheduler takes a vaca, the whole company shuts down and can't get back to you. Will not be using Handyman connection again.

I hired them to install tile around a brand new tub, and the installer scratched my tub up so much that it needed to be repaired. They hired a company which was unable to match the color of my tub and has since ghosted me. This is not a good company to work with and they are refusing to fix their mistake. I have been very patient with them and have all text message conversations available to prove everything. Do NOT use this company!

UPDATE: Apparently the 2 people i was working with either left the company or got different positions, which is why I didn't hear back from them. Finally got someone else to help me out, and they did finally end up getting a different company to fix the tub correctly. Ideally this never would have been a problem and it wouldn't have taken over 8 months to get fixed. Only raised the review by one star due to the issues i experienced. The only good thing that came out of this, is that I didn't have to do the tiling myself. Although i guess it took longer overall than if i did it myself and I honestly don't think they did any better than i would have done.

The handyman (Melton) arrived on time, was cordial, and generally informed of the project scope. He was very attentive to my explanation of a few additional work scope requirements he had not been previously informed of. The requested work (installing chicken wire mesh to hold up garage roof insulation) was completed within the estimated time quoted and the existing insulation conditions (see picture below). I would peg my actual numerical rating more at 4.4 to 4.5 than just the four-star one shown above.

We had a storage shed that we ordered from Home Depot that needed to be assembled. We reached out to Handyman and they sent Chase and Austin to assist us with this project. They completed the project to our complete satisfaction and we are so pleased with their performance!!

I had my kitchen painted and it was a wonderful experience. James showed up on time and ready to work. He even fixed a couple of sheet rock blemishes that I missed without hesitation. The kitchen now looks great. Wished I'd have called them earlier.
