Reviews of local pros in Edina, Minnesota

We had gotten multiple quotes for the garage cement and decided to use Hage because they have a lifetime warranty. They did a great job and we are happy with the garage floor. They even had a caulking guy come a couple days later to fix small gaps where the garage door meets the cement. They were very responsive and a great company. Highly recommend!

The entire Hage Concrete Works team was lovely to work with! Clear communication, clean workspace and excellent results. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new patio!

Hage did a wonderful job on my driveway and patio. Everything looks great and the exceptional warranty means going with them was a no-brainer. Thanks to the crew who were great, kept the site clean, and did a fantastic job.

The entire Hage team was great to work with, and they did incredible work. Everyone we interacted with clearly enjoyed working for Hage and working with their team. The team was all smiles, working hard, and helping each other. We first engaged the Hage team in 2024. We wanted our driveway widened from a single car width to double, because in Golden Valley you cannot park on the street during the winter and with four teenagers we had a growing fleet of vehicles to shuffle. Corey came out to discuss the project and give us a proposal. The pricing was competitive with other proposals we received, but we liked Corey's ideas about the project and we could tell that he had a ton of experience and an experienced team to execute on his plan. The timing wasn't right for us in 2024, but this spring (2025) we reconnected with Corey and moved forward with the project. In late June they did the demolition (including a section of city curb), grading, setting up all the forms, and drilling rebar into the existing driveway to prevent future issues between the old and new sides of the driveway. The city approved their work quickly and after a week of rain the Hage team was back to start pouring. It all went quickly and turned out beautifully. We're already enjoying the double-wide driveway, but it's going to be a game changer for the winter. You will not be disappointed if you work with Hage Concrete!

Apparently I only have pictures from when they set up the forms. I'll try to update my review with more pictures of the finished project!

Hage poured a side driveway, shed pad with electric, patched garage floor, and revitalized the front stoop. They were here over 5 days. 7:00 a.m. and fired things up by 8:00 a.m. they cleaned up everyday and were very communicative. Work was top notch. Equipment damaged part of my existing asphalt driveway and I was dreading having to let them know they need to fix it but before I could say anything the next morning they said they noticed the issue and they were going to fix it, which they did. Control joints in the garage floor patch?. Five stars anyway

The crew from This Hage Concrete Works, led by Scott, was wonderful. They really knew how to pour the concrete to prevent both rain drainage and ice problems. That alone was impressive, but I was even more surprised by how beautifully they connected our yard to the driveway. It was another pleasant surprise.

Our neighbors came by to see their work and said they plan to contact Hage for their next project. Even the gutter company guy told us, “Even though you had to wait a week, you’ll end up more than 100% satisfied.” He was absolutely right.

We recently had an old patio removed and a new one poured (colored, stamped concrete). We choose Hage Concrete because of their amazing skill and quality of the end product. What we did not anticipate was how much we would enjoy working with the Crew! From the demo team, to the installers, Jon’s Crew excelled! They were communicative, timely, friendly, and talented at what they do. I would not hesitate to hire them again (and would even request Jon and his Team to do the work again!).

EVERYTHING FROM STONE STEPS TO DRIVEWAYS — TRUE CRAFTSMANSHIP

After an issue with a previous contractor, my exposed aggregate driveway needed to be completely replaced. Anyone who has dealt with aggregate stone in Minnesota—especially in Saint Paul—knows how hard it is to find a company that will even touch this style of driveway. Most concrete companies flat-out told me they don’t do exposed aggregate because of the complexity, color-matching, and finish requirements.

That’s how I found Hage Concrete Works, and I could not be more impressed with their workmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail.

To ensure everything matched perfectly, I also had them redo my front walkway. The results were flawless. Their crew was efficient, respectful, and clearly skilled in specialty concrete work. The texture, color, edging, and overall finish were absolutely spot-on—far better than the original contractor’s work ever was.

If you’re looking for a company that can handle exposed aggregate, decorative stone finishes, high-end walkways, or custom concrete solutions, Hage Concrete Works should be your first call. Reliable, talented, and worth every penny.

Can't say enough good things about their services.
They go above and beyond to make sure your yard is well kept.
Try these guys out, you won't find better!

Jake and his crew do a fantastic job! Always professional yet reasonably priced. I highly recommend them!!

I am so happy to have changed to Driftwood. They do a great job and are so responsive to my request. Can’t say enough good things.

They came out to give me a detailed estimate and then scheduled me for about 2 weeks later. I had a HUGE quantity of overgrown bushes and "volunteer" trees that they removed cheerfully and efficiently.

We used Driftwood to maintain our lawn this summer and their service was excellent! They’re friendly, timely, and great at what they do.

I have a rental property that had flower beds that were out of shape. Over grown with weeds wild trees, and discolored woodchip mulch. Driftwood Property Service Got the yard in top shape. I would highly recommend them. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Our front yard had an area that was nothing but thistles and overgrown weeds (used to be a garden). Driftwood came out and did a great/thorough job of clearing everything out so we could start fresh. Very hard working and friendly.

We were impressed with the overall job they did and attention to detail on the fall cleanup. They actually asked questions and paid attention to my instructions. They also plowed the driveway only for winter and did a nice job at that as well. Definitely will have them back again. It is good to find a reliable yard service.

We hired Driftwood to manage our weekly mowing and trimming. They are doing a wonderful job and our yard looks great. Their prices are reasonable too!

Very prompt and professional in their work. My yard was weedy and bare before contracting with Driftwood, and now looks professionally maintained. Bravo!! I highly recommend them for lawn and snow.

Driftwood offers great value, professional services, and really excellent communication. They kept me posted on how changing weather conditions would affect my service and consistently fulfilled their commitments. Great price for the service you get!

I've used Driftwood Properties for several years. They have been responsible for my Lawn/SnowRemoval on two properties I have in the Twin Cities area. Jake has been honest, timely and professional in all my dealings with him. In this day and age it is seemingly harder and harder to find individuals who take pride in their jobs. Jake and Driftwood Properties are those people. I highly recommend.

Driftwood Properties did our winter snow removal. Sidewalks and driveway always cleared within 24 hrs, did an excellent job. Planning on having them do our lawn care needs this spring. Services are reasonably priced.
