I turned on my A/C on last night and noticed that cold air wasn’t coming from the vents. This was my first time needing HVAC service and wanted to support a local company and so I decided to call Fritz Mechanical the next morning. They answered the phone immediately and were able to schedule a same-day visit.
I received a text letting me know that Brandon would be coming out, and he arrived right on time. After a quick check, Brandon discovered that the A/C power switch had been turned off. Once he flipped it back on, we confirmed that cold air was flowing properly again and everything working as it should.
It turns out that Excel Energy had installed a new saver switch outside the previous fall without notifying us and they never turned the A/C power back on either. I fully expected to pay at least a service fee for the visit, but Brandon didn’t charge me anything—despite having every opportunity to do so. They could have easily taken advantage of the situation and they didn't.
Based on the professionalism, responsiveness, and integrity I experienced, I would happily recommend them to anyone and will be calling them for any future needs.
