Reviews of local pros in Forest Lake, Minnesota

Upper Cut Tree Service was great to work with. They took at 3 trees including a huge 80+ year old Silver Maple. They even took away some branches/logs that we had laying around from other trees. With stump grinding and clean up they were in and out in about 2-3 hours. And they won't gouge you for the quality of work they provide compared to their competition. Great work and would recommend them to anyone!

Kyle and his crew was here today cutting down trees and bushes.
Excellent clean work. Definitely will call them back for more jobs.
Thank you all :)

We needed 4 stumps removed. TLC was timely on a bid and scheduling time to come out to grind out our stumps. Travis arrived on time, answered all my questions and did an excellent job. Definitely recommend TLC!

Had TLC out this morning to remove fallen tree on our propane tank. Excellent job!! Quick, efficient and great to work with. Not even a twig left on the ground, very impressive!
Thanks!

Did a wonderful job trimming and cutting down our trees. They took great care on preserving the lawn. Clean up was fantastic. Crew was very friendly. I would recommend!

TLC removed an Ash tree for me today. Very pleased with the service! They left my place very clean and stayed safe on a busy county road. Prompt, courteous and competitive. Thank you!

Quality work was done with complete cleanup. TLC removed a large Ash and Oak tree. They also did a great job on trimming some large Oak branches that hung over our neighbor's garage. The price was right and I would hire them again in an instant.

We had a tree fall on our house. They called us back with in an hour and pulled together their team and came out that day. Very professional, worked efficiently and got the BIG job done with in 3 hours. Cleaned everything up on the ground. Couldn't have been more happy. Whenever I hear someone talking about trees, I always recommend this company.

Very impressed by TLC - removed an entire large tree (and trimmed several others) in a matter of a few hours. Better yet, they completely cleaned up the yard and hauled away every scrap of debris. They also took care to avoid damaging other landscaping despite using large equipment. Highly recommend!

TLC did a great job removing our very large maple tree that has been overhanging our house and upheaving the driveway. They were very skilled in the takedown process and left everything very clean afterwards. Were also quite reasonably priced. Highly reccommend :)

Tlc did a a very professional job removing 4 large trees, 2 of which were located very close to our home. They worked diligently and cleaned up the remains thoroughly when they were finished. I would highly recommend you contact them for any tree removal needs.

If you would like to have people you can trust, who are reasonable in price, and careful and precise in technique, then I highly recommend you call TLC Tree Service. I've asked them for help on a large buckthorn and Box Elder tree removal project 4 times over the past 9 months and I can't say enough good things about them. Without a moment's hesitation I would call them again for help (and probably will). Not all tree services have the kind of heavy equipment that's really needed for a safe and efficient tree removal project, but TLC has it all. I wanted them to be able to pick the junky trees out from the midst of some very nice pine trees. Without expertise and the right tools and equipment other removal services I spoke with never would have been able to do what TLC did. Like I said, I can't say enough good things about them.

TLC Tree Service is the best! Travis, Kyle and their crew are reliable, knowledgeable and experienced. Their prices are fair and I trust them with my project! I would use them again and would recommend them to everyone I know! Thank you!

Sometimes due to location or size you just can take them down yourself, when that happens call these guys. They are very professional and have a great crew that knocks it out quickly and their cleanup is impressive. The group is a well oiled machine for me they removed multiple dead trees, topped some others and were done lightning fast. Give them a call you won't be disappointed.

Update**
I hired these guys again April 2026. I had to drive my wife to the airport, by the time I got back they were gone and you couldn’t tell from the front yard anywhere that I just had a big tree removed in my backyard. It was clean as it was before I left. Their machines didn’t a little bit of damage to the yard, nothing a roller and a rake can’t fix. I’m working in my backyard now anyway so it’s not a big deal to me. These guys are just cool to work with and they work really well together. I highly recommend them. Below is my first review.
These guys came in a year ago and trimmed out a big tree we have in the backyard. I asked for a quote for the removal of the tree up front and they honored that same price a year later. They rolled up and were ready to go in minutes. They were here 40 minutes and left. Those guys are a well orchestrated team. It’s unbelievable watching them. Each one knows what the other is going to do next. It’s awesome. They cleaned everything up, even blowing the gas back to fluffy where it had been smashed. Highly recommend this group of men. You simply can’t go wrong.

I've had 4 large trees removed by TLC at my home, 1 of which was in a tricky spot next to my garage. TLC did amazing work! Their customer service is great and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

We had several trees a little to close to our house that we needed removed. TLC was prompt, courteous, very efficient and did a phenomenal job of cleanup and removal! The team worked well together and we were amazed on how precise they dropped our trees. My husband and I were very impressed and would definitely work with TLC again!

This is the second time I had TLC Tree service cut a tree down. Did an excellent job and price was fair. I would highly recommend TLC Tree Service.

What a great experience. We had 4 - 20 year old spruce trees removed from the yard. 2 were close to the street and those were gone in minutes due to the amazing equipment the team used. 2 were in the back corner of our yard. The machines didn't leave a mark on the grass and the guys left our yard cleaner that when they got there. No sticks, no leaves. Thank you TLC for a job well done.

Travis, Jake, and Jimmy did a great job taking down large trees in my yard. Working with Kyle for scheduling was a breeze, and the TLc team was both reasonably priced and flexible according to my scheduling needs. They did great work, and I will definitely recommend them to my neighbors.
