Tree reviews in Forest Lake, Minnesota

The guys at TLC Tree Service came to my home to cut down and remove some dead trees, as well as remove some limbs from a few problem trees. It was amazing how fast the trees were down, cut into smaller pieces, then put into a truck and hauled away, it was a very impressive operation! They then had a smaller machine that raked the yard clean and left virtually no debris beyond! I think my lawn was actually cleaner after they left, then before they arrived, it was great! I would highly recommend these guys! Very good work at a good price, give them a call today!

TLC did a great trimming work with a job that had difficult access for large equipment (pole and climbing also required). They had to take one branch we'd have preferred to stay for privacy, yet the boss explained why it was necessary to take down. They were fair, prompt, efficient and clean up was near perfect. I highly recommend if you are in need of tree services.

Wouldn't hesitate for a second to use Kyle and Travis for any kind of tree service. Stand up guys working hard to build their small local business!!! They have invested in a huge 80 yd truck with a boom/grapple type thing on the back to pick up and haul away massive amounts of wood. Truck can maneuver around well despite the size. I reached out with questions, and had a response back within the hour. I had many other companies not bother to respond. If you are needing tree services, call TLC!!!

Great experience working with Kyle and his team! Quick response to calls, detailed estimate, fair pricing, good communication throughout the job, and thorough with clean-up of debris. I also liked that they were very careful not to damage surrounding trees and gardens during the tree removal process.
This was our second time working with them and I’m sure I’ll call them again when we need more tree work done!

We loved everything about our interaction with TLC! They came out right away, gave us a bid on the work, scheduled the job for the next week and showed up on time with a full crew! The equipment they used to take down 2 very large ash trees was top notch. No damage to our lawn and cleaned up spectacularly! We highly recommend them! Great people too!

TLC did an amazing job. They were quick and proficient. I was absolutely impressed with how cautious and exact they were with bring our trees down. The tree removal and clean up was worth every penny. They left my yard better than when they arrived. We will be using them for any future tree service needs.

Very professional and careful. Larou removed five red pines in our yard located in a very difficult area. He got the job done when he said he would. He did a great job cleaning up afterward.

You can stop looking, these guys are the best. Best service, fair prices, and on top, nice guys. Give them a call today!

Kyle's crew showed up with all their equipment and got right to work. Had two large pines and six large bushes taken down. His men worked efficiently and precisely. Within an hour and a half the trees and bushes were gone, everything cleaned up and my yard was in the same condition as before they came. Everything was done at a very reasonable price. Will be using TLC services in the future.

Great crew and fair pricing. Kyle came out and discussed our needs with no sales pressure. When the crew arrived a few weeks later, we discussed a few more trees and they were able to fit these in as well. The crew was fast, courteous, and had all of the right equipment.

This team is the best I have ever had for tree services . Professional, personable and proficient. I can’t recommend them enough.

The experience with TLC was phenomenal. I was looking for a company to remove and haul a large poplar in my front yard and trim a few others on the side of my house. They were quick to come out and give me an estimate, Kyle is great to to talk to, very knowledgeable. The quote was very fair for the work involved. I wasn’t looking to hire some uninsured hack from Craig’s. The turnaround time was very fast, especially during the busy season. They arrived on time, on the day they said they would be at my home. The foreman of the crew was great, courteous, professional, informed of what the plan was. The crew did an amazing job, very safe, took preventative measures to be careful of the landscaping and the grass. They did a fantastic job at cleaning up the area. The guys made the job look simple, which it’s not but it reflects the the quality and professionalism of the team. I’m looking forward to working with them again in the future and I’d recommend them to anyone. Top notch service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

TLC Tree Service came out yesterday and took down 2 huge trees in my yard. They worked like a well-oiled machine and got the job done quickly and efficiently. They took care (TLC!) not to drop any big branches in my fence, and they cleaned up so well after they were done. All that left for me to do was enjoy the fruit of their labor! I would definitely hire them again, and recommend them to anyone who needs tree work done. Thanks TLC!!

Kyle and his team did great work for tree removal and trimming. Kyle is very knowledgeable and spent time educating us on the health of the trees in our yard. He’s very honest based on his assessment of which trees needed to be removed (minimizing cost and saving trees, when possible). Kyle’s quote was competitive, although not the lowest quote, but we ended up booking with him because we trusted his ability to trim the trees in a way which would promote their long term health. We’ve learned the lowest quote is not always the cheapest route in the long run! We were so happy with the work of him and his team. The yard looks great and we will hire TLC for future tree needs.

TLC is wonderful. Great job, from start to finish. Highly recommend them and will definitely have them when we need help again. What a great team! FANTASTIC customer service. Thanks Kyle, Travis and ALL.

We've had Kyle's crew out multiple times to remove diseased Ash trees, trim Oaks and remove stumps. The crew is absolutely fabulous!! They are super efficient with their work, cleanup is amazing and prices are fair. Definitely recommend!!

This company was just amazing! Quick ! Safe ! And cleaned up after themselves when done ! Huge tree cut and cleaned up in 2 hours ! Thank you TLC

Kyle and his crew are great! They are very communicative, do great work, and don’t leave a mess. In the last few months Kyle has taken care of three projects of various size. He kept us up to date on their timeline and were there when they said they would be. Highly recommend them! We’ll use them again next time we have tree work needing done.

Just finished working with Kyle at TLC tree service. Great, friendly & nice guy to work with. He was knowledgeable and took time with me To explain my situation. Highly recommend him!

My wife and I had TLC come out and remove 2 trees and they did an outstanding job all around. Very punctual, professional and payed attention to every detail. Very fair on pricing! From start to finish they are 5 stars! Highly recommend.

I simply cannot say enough good stuff about these guys. We had eight 100+ year-old oaks that were dead in our back yard. They showed up at 8am, and the yard was spotless by 6pm. I cannot believe they got it done in a day. Not only that, but there were a couple that were really challenging to get to, and they did it all. Unbelievable. They worked super hard all day and were STILL jovial by the end. The price was right, too. I would highly recommend this tree service to anyone-especially in Wyoming with all the oak wilt.
